6:01 "It's not hyperflashing." Well, it won't hyperflash with the hazards. If you get hyperflash, it'll be with turn signals only. That's because it's a setting in the BCM, or body control module. An easy fix can be made with Forscan. Just disable the setting "front bulb turn outage" and voila! No more hyperflash. There's also a setting for the rear, if you get hyperflash after replacing the rear blinker. This is easier than adding a resister and cheaper than buying canbus bulbs. Great demo despite the music being too loud. And thanks -- I had no idea switchback bulbs existed. I recently replaced all exterior lighting on my 2010 Lariat with LEDs, and although I replaced my fog lights with LEDs, I'm about to replace the whole assemblies with dual amber and white (6500k to match the headlights). Now I'll have to replace the front blinkers with switchbacks. BTW with Forscan, you can set daytime running lights if your truck doesn't have them (oddly, mine didn't). You can even select the fog lights as running lights.
@@Higgsgarage If you have the older Forscan, you might want to update it. The newer version is much more user friendly, using words instead of codes from spreadsheets.
@desertgecko4549 I am not entirely sure. I appreciate the info on it tho and if it’s the old one when I go to use it i will update to the newer version!
Thanks for watching! The ones I used in this video are “3157 Switchback LED Turn Signal Light Dual Color CANBUS Error Free Anti Hyper Flash Blinker Bulb”. Hit me up on fb if you can’t find them or have any trouble. Also thanks for pointing this out I’ll put the link in the description to the bulbs.
I never put any in an explorer but the ones in my truck work great. Still working without issues and no hyper flash. They are faster than halogen bulbs just bc they are instantly on and then off instead of slowly glowing on and off but they are not hyper flashing. Good luck! 👍🏼 hope they work out and you like them as much as I like the ones I have. Also thanks for watching! Consider subscribing if you haven’t already! Thank you!
@@Higgsgarage if it worked for u im sure it will work for my explorer since they are around the same years, my front signals are the only thing left to make led, thanks for the video by the way!
No problem! The are the only LEDs I have on my truck so far but I think I will go around and replace the old bulbs with LEDs in the future. It’s crazy how much brighter they are.

Interesting, if that works with a 2015 i might have to try that out for the front and back.
They have more than one switchback listed...which specifically did you use here? Thanks! (Saw your post on the 12th gen FB page)

Not sure if I like how the white light seems to ramp up when it comes on.
Updates on auxito bulbs Any error issues ??
No issues! Will be doing a video on installing a 3rd break light from them and will show that the turn signals are still doing great!
@@Higgsgarage great sir! I order some for my 2011 f150 hope it turns out good. They look dope

No resistor needed for the turn signals?
Nope, they are plug and play.

just bought 2 of these and 2 of the daytime running lights

Did you need to install a resistor for the blinkers? How are they working after 7 months?
@TheBlueScreenTeam no and they are still functioning fantastic
The background music is extremely loud and hard to make out what you are saying.
That music is very distracting!
Noted
Couldn't watch with that annoying loud music.
Whew, I almost got worried then I remembered I didn’t make the video for just you.
