- Quick compare video with both of awesome machines from VLAD BLAD.
Both Machines are Lightweight , has 3.5 mm stroke, 7-Watt motor and RCA connection.
Both are great for all types of tattooing styles.
More info about - ULTRON C - Magnet part of the MagStick is equivalent of slide. That means it provides stable moving of cartridge, like in classical slider. But also we saved the power of classical direct by deleting the spring which are wasting engine's resource.
As s result we have machine powerful as direct drive and stable as slider.
ULTRON PEN - Mechanism is designed in such a way that it is returned to its initial position not by the spring, but by the motor itself. This helps prevent the delay in the needle going out of the skin when using cartridges with a soft membrane and allows to work at low speed even with cartridges with a very hard membrane.
Working Voltage Range Recommendations for Ultron PEN:
Thin outlines: 7v-9v
Thick outlines: 8v-10v
Black & grey: 6.5v-9v
Color realism: 6.5v-9v
Colour packing: 8.5v-10v
Dotwork: 6v-7v
Whip shading: 6v-9v
Let me know if you have any questions.

Awesome! thankyou !
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo no problem, are you still using Killer Ink Carts by the way? Love your work bro respect.
Радостно что подерживаете связь с Русскими машиностроителями и мастерами))
Hey man as always great videos. Wonder now can you use the Cheyenne aluminum grips on the Vlad Blad and opposite?
Many thanks.
Tha is for sharing. I had not heard of them. They look high quality. I always trust your opinion best.
YES! check them out! their machines and finishes are so beautiful! and they work like beasts too !
I’ve been wanting to try out the machines! They seem pretty dope
You’ll love the ultron pen it’s a standard 3.5 stroke but at higher vbolts it hits like hard like 4.0and it back off at lower bolts but still punchy enough to do dot work I know your a Valhalla guy and for a Russian company they have good cust Serb check them out
Your videos are always so insightful, thank you!
What are the chances you’ll be reviewing the avenger 2 pro?
YES , on my list! Just have to test it more before to know what to say.
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo thanks for replying. That’s great I’ll look out for that.
I recently got a ultron pen and I noticed the top of the pen where the rca goes gets warm is that normal for
It to generate heat
My favorite pen for lining and whip shading i want their avenger machine they need more exposure here in America but the ultron pen has 3.6 stroke but those stainless grips work on the sol nova aswell dude!!!
Oh that's awesome to hear! I think it's 3.5 stroke. and I'm not too sure about grips, I tried on my pen machine, it didn't work, but Pen grips does work for this one. YES , Avenger is pretty cool one, want to work with it little more and make a review then too !
I put the ultron pen through hell I can’t tattoo in my state I live in California so I’ve been traveling to work and I’ve put maybe 500 hours in a very short period of time tus pen has token a beating I really hope he makes a wireless version but for now I got the critical battery 🔋 and it’s worked great
Vlad just came out with a new avenger with multiple stroke and a motor with more torque it’s the avenger2.0 we need the review on it cause your obviously gonna get it before I do on pre order
Any chance for a avenger 2 review?? :D
Best wishes
I have both 🙈 best machines, support is the best too
That's awesome to hear! And yes, support is good from what I've heard!
COOL Machine, i'm using x13, a national machine from Brazil.
Thankyou ! I haven't heard about it yet. I'll have to check it out!
Hope u make some tattoos and u show results? Wondering how long motor will be working talking about pen
I've had for almost 2 years now used alot till I got a new Cheyenne sol nova unlimited 2 months ago its really good motor cause I used it alot and it's kind of the best liner pen for 11 and smaller I can put in very easy it's a hard hitter
Круто, очень круто 🤘
spassibo!
Hey man, did you have a chance to test the ultron 2?how do you like the 4mm stroke compared to the ultron 3.5mm for shading? Kinda debating back and forth on those two machines, since I mainly do shading work
hey, yes I've tried it. I personally don't think that there was a major difference in those machines. stroke bigger so it would be better as liner/packer , I probably wouldn't recommend it as softer work. but all depends on what are you used to , as I know some black and gray artists do work with larger stroke.
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo thank you very much for talking the time to answer my question, I apreciate it! Which of those two would you pick tho? I am doom black and Grey, but also like a harder punch since it's more semi realistic/biomech/darkart stuff.
@@JoshVangore i would probably say new one as apparently there's lot of updates on motor/performance. I didn't felt it much myself, but I've only tried it 2-3 times. and with previous model I wasn't working much to feel the difference. But I assume it could be better quality and last longer. I also had a test model 2 years before it even came out, so it's possible there's many new improvements and it's completely different machine now.
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo thanks again, I really do apreciate your help. Keep up your amazing work. It's very inspiring and always a pleasure to look at. Many thanks my friend 🤘
@@JoshVangore Easy, let me know what you think of it if you get it! would be cool to know other opinion too! Take care
Would you say this pen is a better choice vs the Cheyenne pen? Ive been curious about these for a minute.
I had Cheyenne pen machine for maybe 3-4 years now, this one only for few weeks, so hard to tell. There's no better or worse in my opinion.
and what's better to some, might be worse for others.
Both are great quality machines. both powerful for all type of work. This one has RCA cord what's a bonus if you don't have Cheyenne machines and you are using others with RCA too. same type grips / disposable options and such. so all pretty much same. It Does say that cause of the mechanism how it's designed this one suits really good for lines. (what is Good thing , as lining with cartridge machines sometimes can be difficult, and you can tell from Gromov work that it works perfect for lining)
I haven't done many line-work with it yet to know that.
Hope this helps.
Yes, vlad vlad pen is better as chayenne pen. I have chayenne pen too, but I don't use him, because vlad blade have more punch. Lines is so much better then chayenne. Vlad blade is better in Ballance. Ultron c is good to. U can better make wipshading with ultron c for example.
Is it possible to use the XL Steel grip on a Cheyenne Sol Nova machine? 🙏🏼
I don't think it will fit, but you can check with Vladblad customer service about it! I'm sure they will know.
Do you know where I can get XL steel grip? Vlad blad stopped making them
I'm not sure, Best will be to email them and check.
The Advenger ?
Is the pen loud while running? I want to buy it but I’m hoping it’s not too loud.
Es un poco más ruidosa que otras pen, pero es muy poca la diferencia, no es incómodo en absoluto.
A little louder then most but i don’t notice it I recommend u try it I’m a year in with mine
Thank you for this great review, I'm pretty interested to get the Ultron Pen, but I read somewhere that it can be damage and lose the warranty if you turn it on and then put the cartridge, is it true? And I have an issue, I'm from México City, so in case that I have to use my warranty, it could be hard because Russia is too too far from México, so my point here is that, is it a good reliable Pen, I mean, I have seen lots of different Pen machines options, and I consider Vlad Blad Ultron Pen the best ALL AROUND MACHINE for me... Could you Sir help me out with your appreciable opinion? Thank you, and you are great making this reviews!! Greetings from México City.
Hey. thanks for comment and watching videos.
To be honest I'm not that sure about warranty and how it works. I personally change cartridges without turning on and off machine. I've been doing that for years and none of my machines broke because of it. But maybe I'm just lucky and it's actually really damaging.
I think they're bringing out newer version of it, what could be even more powerful motor and with 4mm stroke. (but I'm not too sure when that will be out)
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo Thank you so much for your answer and your opinion. The warranty issue really scares me, because its a too far to send it back, in case of damaging, but I really like it this Ultron Pen. And it would be my first Pen, I always Work with coils... Any suggestions of an all around and reliable Pen machine? Hope I'm not bothering you. Greetings from México City Sir!!
No bothering at all, that's why I always say to ask questions in comments.
if you're transitioning from coils , My Best guess will be - ''neuma FOUR'' I haven't used that machine myself, but I've heard many great things about it. it's also lightweight and has different and interesting system on how it works. aMany artists are saying it's the closest to the coil machine. it's also build by respectable tattoo artist, so I would want to believe quality will be really good.
Vlad blad is good machine . I haven't used it that much, but for me it worked well for lining / shading and solid black.
@@carloszepeda9132 I transitioned from coils too, I like Cheyenne Sol Nova unlimited 4.0mm with their electronic give system
There is no better machines as Vlad Blad stuff on the market ( price & quality ratio ) ……Running my shop since 1992 and this is my humble opinion…….
What are your thoughts on the avenger?
It's cool one! I'll do review on that one hopefully soon too!
hey Anrijs is it suitable in Cx2G2 power supply ??
Yes, it should work with any Critical power supply.
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo thank you
Is the needle depth adjustable?
Yes for the pen it's adjustable with the grip. For other one you can use adjustable grip or adjust it manually with grip locking part.
Which lines better Ultron Pen or Neuma 4?
I've never tried Neuma, so I cannot comment on that.
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo Oh ok. Thanks anyways.
what rotary pen do you use?
mostly cheyenne
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo do you think it's comparable to the dragonhawk mast tour pro? I've been hearing that the mast tour pulls lines with little difference than the cheyenne
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo thank you for your reply!
Have you got the flux yet?
There's review on flux already on my channel from weeks ago.
My pen is smaller actually. I can’t remember what brand it is.
I never said it's the smallest one, I said it's one of the smallest pen style machines. can you check which one you have ? would be good to know for the reference.
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo I checked my order history and it’s called Jconly tattoo pen kit. Thanks for the video and the information. I have learned a lot from you.
I have 5 Vlad Blad Machines ( Best Ever )
THAT'S awesome! yeah they are really cool !
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo Is the needle depth adjustable as Cheyenne hawk thunder?
