Link to speaker and my Storefront in description. Other notes to mention- Discount code in description is still active, but will expire soon. The speaker had a firmware update straight out of the box, which I updated prior to this video.
Honestly wasnt expecting much from this speaker. Two small drivers, of course theyre gona compress the audio at higher volume; but STILL with such limiting hardware tribit still worked its magic :)
How was it in movies? How'd it compared to traditional front facing speaker, does it sound all over the place or the soundstage and instrument localization still okay?
Hi, hope you're doing well. do you suggest this speaker or there are better alternatives? can you suggest me 2 portable Bluetooth speakers that are compact in size like flip 6 and and tribit stormbox micro 2? (should be budget friendly with clear sound with a bit better in base and good battery life)
Cant complain as it was £38 for intro price . Also the clartity is better than original stormbox (i have it to compare). I use it on my e bike bottle holder 😊
I've watched UA-cam videos with the Stormbox 2 and there may be a slight bit of latency, but it's really not bad. I've seen FAR worse to where it's unwatchable, but I don't get that with the Stormbox 2. Maybe.somerjing like Netflix is.worse?
Watching this and listening using my new tribit stormbox 2, after using it for awhile the passive radiators and sounds becomes better and maybe the updated firmware, they fixed the problem? I like the sound of the old version but for volume, app and better battery life, i go for the new tribit stormbox 2 👍
I think if you like a little more bass, D320. A little more clarity and detail, Stormbox 2. Stormbox 2 is also smaller if you are wanting something more compact.
I'm hoping it will be great. The X20 has kind of set the bar for budget Bluetooth Boomboxes. I will say the UBoom X build quality looks a little on the cheaper side, at least from what I've seen.
So if you back off a notch or two on volume does it still fight itself? Also I know you don't have the first one to compare to but what you can hear now do you think it's worth upgrading. Cuz I have the first one.
Now if you listened when I dropped it to 80% vol. it wasn't nearly as noticeable. So I think for bass heavy music it's best to keep this speaker at 80% volume. With other music it does well enough at 100%.
I'll be honest, I want impressed with the first model and I don't have high hopes for this one, I'm willing to bet my charge essential can blow this one out if the water and it's only 20 watts.
I haven't tried the XSound Plus 2. For that traditional style of speaker, with drivers only firing one direction, it might be hard to beat the XSound Mrga. The Stormbox 2 has drivers firing in opposite directions and is 34w, while the XSound Plus 2 is 30w.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews bro if it's not that expensive, then please give it to me seriously I don't have budget rn , it will be a great help please , just for your subscriber 🙏
@@harshrajora3386 you might go ask one of the big sponsored channels that make hundreds of thousands of dollars or more if they can hook you up. I'm just a little fish in the big pond and have literally spent many thousands of dollars on speakers for this channel. I can't afford to just go giving them away when I will need them for later videos.
Well...Thank you very much for a very patient and fact to fact review of Tribit Stormbox 2 speakers. I have been using Stormbox 24W Speaker for over 4 years... This recently updated 34 W speaker looks to be quite exciting. I have used Stormbox Pro 40w speaker also...But that is pretty ordinary sounding. I would surely look forward to buy this 34 w speaker. Thank you for a very insightful review.

How would you compare it to the Bogasing G4?
Plus Sony and JBL has already proven that it's not about watts, you can get the same amount of sound by increasing the surface area

I can't tell you what you will like. I will say the Tribit XSound Mega is a nice hand-held speaker that I have enjoyed.

Hopefully they send an update to enable xbass, they may have had issues with xbass and that's why they put a limit in it
How many Decibels on max volume?
It is a great speaker, I'm still trying to tune it in the app where it will sound the best. I'll update in this channel (AJ Reviews)
what you think of the speaker now? is it any good? do you have any other recommendations?
The looks of the new version is better that the old one, it looks more premium..
How's the latency? In Alan Ross Reviews, his result were atrocious (400ms) even on aux (200ms) which is crazy.

In my pinned comment I mention that I updated the firmware straight out of the box. So it is running it's latest firmware in this video.
that's called burned in, your brain just get used to the sound
Please compare to the Soundcore Glow?
I'll add that to the list of possibles.
Soundcore use to have that xtra bass eq thing too but seems like their recent speakers change that
This has that.
Would you buy this or the wking d320?
I think if you like a little more bass, D320. A little more clarity and detail, Stormbox 2. Stormbox 2 is also smaller if you are wanting something more compact.
Im ready for the Earfun Uboom X, that thing looks to be a beast for well under $200. Watched the preview on Oluv Gadgets channel.
I'm hoping it will be great. The X20 has kind of set the bar for budget Bluetooth Boomboxes. I will say the UBoom X build quality looks a little on the cheaper side, at least from what I've seen.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I think the one Oluv has is a prototype unit as he mentioned it has to be hooked to his laptop to adjust settings
No offense but oluv’s speaker sucks. Don’t support oluv because he is a bully, bias and liar.
How does it compare to the W-King D320?
I think the D320 will have more bass capability. The D320 is the same style to a certain extent, but a larger speaker than the Stormbox 2.
Could this fit in the center bin cup holder that's in most cars?
Absolutely.

I think the best way to record it would be with one of the speakers facing the camera/mic
Why would that be best?
@@JaysStraightUpReviews its the Best way I've found to listen to it. One of the speakers facing me. But thats me, how i like it better 😊
@@odayvissonsouza whatever works best for you is all that matters. Enjoy!😉
i disagree, having it this way made it surround sound
How does this compare to the stormbox pro
I no longer have the Stormbox Pro, but I think the Pro will have a bit fuller low end sound with that down-firing woofer.
Hot speaker review! Wonder how this compares to the Tribit Stormbox Pro? 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don't have the Pro anymore, but the Pro should be stronger in bass at least.
But tribit increase the watts instead
It’s got amazing battery life , sound quality & volume for a small mid range 34w speaker best part is pairing it with #xsoundplus2 or #stormboxflow
I'd a already bought this if drivers were facing same direction
Yeah, I'm of the same mindset that I prefer all the sound shooting one direction.
I'll be honest, I want impressed with the first model and I don't have high hopes for this one, I'm willing to bet my charge essential can blow this one out if the water and it's only 20 watts.
Is it better than JBL flip 6 and Charge 5?
It's not going to be in the Charge 5 tier, but closer to the Flip 6.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Thanks Jay , How about tribit Storm box pro?
could compete charge 5@@armaanvlogs7408
That's some aggressive DSP
Hell yeah.
