Nice to see you back at it again Robert! I still use my 200A-hp that I got from you at Hamcation in 2011 daily. The antenna is working great- but the shunt coil finally broke after about 100K miles due to flexing. Love that new mounting base design.
These are very nice antennas, however if you’ve handled and operated a Scorpion SA680 antenna, you’ll find it’s even heavier duty. They’re tough to beat.
It is just a toggle button with up and down actions. But I am working to install one of these in my truck soon, and can show a different type of controller there.
The Tarheel antennas all look really well-built. But, I'm a bit confused about the models, if they are legal limit why the large size differences? Does it relate to performance, or does bigger just looks better? 🙂
Knowing WB0W who he sold the business to. I wouldn't trust a word he says. With him coming back and selling an antenna design he sold away. Just something I see as not being right.
YES! I love Tarheel. Can’t wait to get one
I am so glad to see he is back. I bought one of his refurbished 100hp.
Very good quality❤

I saw this booth at last years Huntsville. Awesome dipole set up. 😊
Very cool
Robert is the best, so glad he's back at it, just bought 2 from him last month. (100HD and Little II)
Yep
I saw on K8MRD'S UA-cam videos where the guy had two of them set in a Horizontal fixed position
That's in this video too
What would it take to put a interface on a little tarheel II to use automatically on. ICOM 706mkIIg? Instead of a hand switch
Very nice Antenna's, great video tnx man!
Thanks
How do I get one of the non motorized antennas? Looks great!
Tarheel 300 on my truck for several years. Best thing I could've done.
Nice!
IT WOULD BE NICE IF THIS COULD BE A VERTICAL BASE ANTENNA ON A ROOF. MIGHT NEED GROUND PLANE RADIALS .?
Yes you can do that
@@HamRadio2 I have a buddy that has a 200a on his 4 story roof in a northern city, It works fantastically.
Good stuff.
A great antenna. Had my ant since 2009 But never could get a part for it.
Will have a Little Tarheel II this Thursday, I hope it lives up to the hype.
It's a great antenna

Would have loved to see the controller of the antennas.

@@HamRadio2 kool I'll keep a eye out.Ty

I think it does relate to performance on some of the lower bands like 40, 80, 160
I wonder if he’s related to the late James Yeager
I just traded some hamsticks for a tarheel! 😱
How much?
Different price for each model
So Tarheel antennas is gone and this is the new company?
No, same company
It's strange they have separate names and separate websites. @@HamRadio2
WB0W is making and selling Tarheel antenna's He sold the company and now he is wanting the company back without having to buy it back

I was thinking the same thing.
I bought one from him (Robert) and love it and it was cheaper and didn’t have to wait 3 months
