Antakshari at ASWB Virtual Classroom

Autism Society West Bengal's Virtual Classroom is for students with autism either in mainstream education system or those are being homeschooled. Autism Society West Bengal (ASWB) is a parent-initiated NGO working for the education, skill development and empowerment of individuals with autism over 20 years. ASWB is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. In Hindi Antakshari means -start with the last letter. So, Antakshari is a fun song game usually played between two or more groups. First group starts singing a song. When they stop singing, second team must start singing another song with the end letter of that song. Antakshari game can be modified in various ways and yet will retain its charm. At ASWB’s Virtual Classroom Antakshari is being played in a different way which doesn’t diminish the joy among the players. Students are getting the supports from their mothers and enjoying the game. Fun makes learning a joyful activity.
