Happy to hear the story is better than the early description. :) I had the same thought after reading the description during pre-order. I just finished another series, so this is good timing. Thanks for your review and encouragement!
@@nicolesbookcorner I finished it last week. Overall I enjoyed it. I did get a little tired of what I felt like was character waffling on their purpose. Is it revenge, or not? Especially the time returning back to the castle that was home. I don't do well w/whiny. :)
@WJRobbins125 I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! I understand what you means, there are a few parts where Vis seems to get whiny especially with what he is supposed to do. His motives dont feel fleshed out yet, hopefully the second book will fix that. But I loved the pacing and the setting. Thank you for letting me know you finished it! 😊
Another glowing review for this book! I am so excited to pick it up in the (hopefully) near future. A little bit of me is putting it off until we're closer to a sequel since most reviewers mention they are anxiously waiting for it. Haha
Nooo you must join in the agonizing wait for the next book😂.But seriously, I do not blame you for waiting closer to the next book, the wait is going to drive me crazy. If you do try it though I hope you love it! 😊It was so good, definitely better than I expected!
@@nicolesbookcorner Hahaha Well I'm cheap and my library only has the eBook right now and I've already planned out my eBook TBR for the rest of the year, so unless they get the audiobook, I probably won't get to it until next year.
Check out The Blighted Stars. I read and reviewed it right after WotM and while WotM is still my fav book of the year, Blighted Stars gives it a run for its money. Its SO GOOD. I already liked WotM but at 30% when the Naumachia happened and the scene I refer to as "human mist" blew me away and I binged the whole book in a day because I couldn't put it down.
Thank you for the recommendation! I'll check it out! And Will of the Many was so good, it is one of those few books where the tension and pacing never slows down, making it so hard to stop reading. I love those types of books but they can be hard to find
Just finished this book and its absolutely amazing
Yay!! I am so glad you liked it, thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it! I enjoyed this book so much too!
