The review didn't speak about one of the most enjoyable features of the VW Eos. It failed to review the panoramic sunroof. It is the only hard-top convertible with a retractable panoramic sunroof. A huge, huge selling point.

exactly! it was a huge point for me when I was wondering to get one Eos. I got and do not regret at all.

I have found that if videos are long people will not watch as proven by UA-cam histories. Overall the average viewer watches a car video for about 3 minutes before they turn it off. So no more 20 minute per car videos for me. So I have cut the time on videos as short as possible to match viewers short attention spans. But since viewers like you can bring attention to the roof, so much the better.

Mardon Navalta I agree on the panoramic sunroof. Sun year round, regardless of the outside temperature! Only one other car offering this combination is the Mercedes SL. The other thing that sold me on the EOS is an aftermarket kit made by JE Design. With the kit installed, the car looks awesome! Here are some pics:

''Now let's start with my review, which I think you'll find a little bit better than theirs'' 🙂🙂 Don't worry about other reviews, just focus on yours, and not sounding arrogant all the time

I see the reviewer prefer the infinity. But I think that pandemic rooftop is awesome on the Eos. Even thou, it's only a 4 cylinder, I like the Eos better. Because it just seems to have better engineering. Maybe save some money on gas too.

Where did I say I prefer the Infinity?

Curious, you said at the end the price of the infinity was $52,000 and cheaper than the German competition which would be the Eos at $38,000. Ummm.....even the executive trim of the Eos gives you a more detailed navigation, parking sensors and much more at $43,000 is still cheaper. This may be why you seem to be more preferred to the infinity. Oh and the steel and sub frame is better on Eos.

adam stratton By cheaper than German competition I was referring to Mercedes/BMW cars which compete with the Q60. The VW doesn't really compete but is a cheaper alternative.

There was nothing to compare in a hard or soft convertible top in the price range of the EOS, so most reviewers were forced to compare it to the Volvo 900, The Audi 300 & the BWM 335i. On the other end the EOS simply outclassed everything from the Chrysler Sebring & 300 convertible's, The Chrysler Lebaron & at the end of the EOS's run it decapitated the Buick LaScada. The Miata wasn't included-it's a 2 seater. Anyway, the EOS beat all 3 of those cars in many categories & outright did very well in a very close 3 way comparison. Audi makes the engine & it is one of the most underrated cars ever made. Still, it lasted 10+ years (Still made in Europe) in the states-not bad for a car that really never found its niche. Customized in & out it can be a real hot car. Check out "Customized VW EOS" on Yahoo search engine-"Images."

@@chadhaire1711 Wish you could see/drive mine. I think of the EOS as "A blank Artists canvas, inside & out." It needs to either be customized for a girl, or a guy. I did a full interior "Dash kit" in real Aluminum & Blue accents. Changed the lighting to Blue, gauges & all. I upped the wheels & tires to 18" from 17, with cup rims from BBS & Pirelli P-Zero/Nero tires. Added racing brakes & pedals. Upped the rear sway bar a few notches-mechanic said it corners as good as a top of the line Golf. No sacrificing in wet weather either, it's just as good if not better, to my surprise. Changed to nose with a Body kit front end, added side ground effects made of Carbon Fiber to go with added trim around the mirrors & a couple of nice emblems on both sides. Turns heads & gets shouts everywhere! Goober.

I've had an infiniti and eos at the same time, 2012 eos 2011 g37 sedan. Two different beasts. Driving it, honestly the eos was more comfortable, had good mid range, and felt pleasant at all times vs the infiniti which is a blast to drive! And not awful at low speeds either. Of course parts, maintenance, and repair wise don't even bat an eye I'll go infiniti.

Should never listen or read US Auto mags. Consumer Digest is the only one to read that is objective. I am a car enthusiat so I know my cars and I don't listen to C&D or R&T since they always vote for cars that pay them the most advertising to be in their Top 10 best.

Is this the worst review ever? At least find an EOS with a cream interior! It’s $20k less than the Infiniti too, which I found had too much wind intrusion. 23 mpg too. We can get 60 out of an EOS diesel in Europe. And given the price of fuel over her, we need to!

Really? This is a 2014 model 8 years ago----all the 2014 Eos ended up in the trash bin 4 years ago......LOL
