Brilliant and well put together. Loved the real British voice over. I'm glad you made that slip in the clues, as It showed that I understood the explanation. A sort of 'spot the deliberate mistake'. Excellent stuff.
Did you mentioned that Jack cannot declare he reached his hideout if he used a special movement? He can only reach his hideout with a regular movement.
I think you made a small mistake with the 'clues' asking. As in the manual it say that you canot ask for clues when the circle is interupted with another square space. Like in you video you canot ask for clues for the numbers 170 and 141 since there is a square (police space) in between. Red can in this case only ask for clues on space 140. If red was 1 square below he could ask clues for 141 and 171 but then not for 140. Its an important thing to notice and makes it abit less 'easy' for the police
I didn't remember having made that misdake, but you're absolutely right. In the example in the video, 141 is not adjacent to that police pawn. Woopsie!
I have seen this same error repeated in other popular tutorials for this game. Really frustrating as this error is commonly made and is reinforced when repeated in tutorials.
I think we should all take a second just to remember this board game exists because a man brutally murdered prostitutes and was never caught.
Mh, no we shouldn't
how bout nooo

Fair point
Nicely done. Already know how to play, but watched anyways as it was very well presented. A+ 👍

It makes a big difference for night 3 where it is super easy to get instantly caught. Video really needs an errata for this!

Indeed. Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼
Best how to video!
One question: does jack reveals his hideout when he reaches it after each night? Or he just declare he reached his hideout?
No, the hideout is the same every night, so he just says "I made it to my hideout"
If Jack reaches his hide out why would he ever choose not to enter it?
Maybe he's afraid the detectives will figure out where his hideout is if he doesn't circle the block first or something
@@KyleMcCarley oh I figured he could kill a second victim in night 1 or 2 if he wanted
No. If the police are super close, Jack would basically telling them that they are.
