for the careful movement, you dont use 2 action points. the number is to discard 2 cards instead of 1. still only use 1 action point to use that action
That's a fantastic and exhaustive tutorial. By far the best I've watched for Nemesis. And that game can definitely use a tutorial. :) Thank you so much for all the work you put into it!
@@MeepleUniversityA year later, I come back to your video every time I need to refresh the rules in my head. Thanks again for making such a great video.
36:12 I think you need to clarify that you cannot rearrange the engines' status in the Engine Control Room but you can still look at them even if there's a malfunction token in the room
Nice video, I didn't know you cannot use contamination cards to pay for actions.... Is that right? What happen if you have 5 contamination cards? You cannot do anything? Also what about fighting a larva, for example larva do surprise attack, if it hit you them if goes to your board and give you a contamination, but what if that miss? It stay in the room with you but if you ran away. What happen? How it will attack?
That’s correct contamination cards cannot be used to pay for actions. If you have a hand of five, you can do no actions, and should probably focus on getting rid of some contamination cards. If a larva misses you, it does stay in your room with you. If you try to leave a room with a larva, it attacks and goes on your player board and you gain a contamination card.
Quite a few people say due to player elimination, it turned them off from investing this expensive game. If theres 4 players and 2 players say die early on, do they just sit out and spectate? If so, thats not enjoyable for them.
It is actually quite a popular game. Yes there are not alot of player elimination, we think, these days, but this works, coz it's pretty fun to watch other people play too for this game. But anyway, it's personal preference :)
@@MeepleUniversity are there any options for players that die? I read you can play as the alien? Not sure if thats true..i never see any reviewers talk about this
Question on the event eclosion card that instantly kills people with a larva. Its says that anyone with a larva on their board dies ( I get that ). So if I don't have a larva but I have 1 card in my hand which is a contamination card how do I go about the rest of the event? It says draw up to four cards and I did... am I only supposed to scan those four cards and NOT the contaminated card I already had on my hand? Also do I discard all the cards in my hand or just the 4 that I picked up? Continuing on being unsure of what to do I scanned my WHOLE hand and found an infected card which was the one I ALREADY had in hand. I assumed a larva was supposed to be put on my board and the contaminated card was supposed to go BACK in the action deck as well as any others infected or not.....This event card had me so confused 😕. I assume that one would be lucky if he didn't scan one of his cards ( infected card ) early on before this event card as it would have had the player killed. This card seems to expose you to being killed by forcing you to scan those cards and putting the larva on the board if you didn't have one already setting you up for instant death later on. In my case I think I was safe when the event was drawn but now vulnerable after I scanned and was infected. I pretty sure you can explain this better to me...
Hi Felix: the easiest way to execute the action is to set aside your hand, then draw four cards and resolve the event only with them, discard those four cards, then pick up your set-aside cards and continue where you left off. It is a dangerous card, no doubt. It strongly incentivises players finding the medical room to remove the larva.
Very much appreciate this video and your dedication. This is the only Nemesis video that doesn’t have errors and is totally comprehensive. Thank you!
Glad it helped. Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏🙏

Hmmm I think maybe to control the alien? I can understand tho, some people don't like player elimination
@@MeepleUniversity oh so players that died can control the alien ?
@@harimakenji7608 Hmm it's been awhile.. but I think it's one that you "could" help with doing it what the AI already doing, not official
Can you play alone? Or do I need 2 ppl? I'm often unable to find a 2nd person
You can play solo.

Lack of ammo big issue.
Is anybody interested in buying the board game including all the expansions brand new unopened with a few extras (all in pledge) $400
Fantastic tutorial, the best existent for Nemesis. Thanks once again for helping me understand how to play a game!
