Join Ian Baker on a first session for the channel to Hartley Lands Fishery in Kent. A day ticket fishery in Cranbrook, Kent. They have 6 lakes and 1 pond. All of the lakes are different so they can cater to most anglers, whether you want big perch, to bag up on carp, to get the bite alarms screaming with lots of doubles or simply sit out for a large carp, they claim to have it all. Their lakes are maintained and managed to the highest of standards creating the best possible fishing environment and experience.

Great video guys when are yous planning on going to cackle hill again loved them videos it’s a very nice lake too big carp in there for sure
Thank you, no plans to at the moment, i can't be dealing with all the cat fish lol. Far too many of them unless somethings changed I'm unaware of.
Great content again Ian. Look forward to the next one
Thanks Carl, appreciate it. Shouldn't hopefully be too long until the next video!!
@WetLines good man ill keep my eyes open
Quality watch as always I'm struggling at mo withe bolies particle & naturals & solid bags 🤯 onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊 🤞🏽🤞🏽
Yeah everyone goes through tough periods, I'm sure you'll crack it. Just stick to what you're confident in and I'm sure you'll get on the fish again!! And thank you again.
Hi Ian , bad luck on the session , it looks as though the conditions were against you . I fished the same swim as you in Aug and managed to winkle out 5 x carp all from the bay around to your right , approx 2 x rod lengths out from tree line , tried tight against the reeds first with no luck .
Please try the venue again ( nicks or bramley ) there are some cushty conditioned carp in both. Cheers Steve
Cheers Stephen. Appreciate the info there and I'll certainly give the venue another go, perhaps I'll try bramley next time!! Thanks.
On their website is a video of all depths in the lake etc. I fished 2 rods off the island in autumn at the bottom of the shelf and managed 4 fish in 7 hours up to 23lb! Summer maybe an idea to fish closer to the islands but I tried to keep at least 2 rod lengths away when fishing in colder seasons
Hi thanks. Yeah since had a look at those videos, pretty helpful. And thanks for the advice, next time I'm down there I'll bare all that in mind. 👍
Great content again Ian I just had 36 hrs at Sandwich fisheries on Victory Lake my 4th time there and my first blank from the venue you and the guys should have a little look at it. If it's any consolation I think I've had more blanks this year than fish 😂 but we keep trying. Great vid though mate 👍
I'll certainly give it a look thanks. I'll take that consolation lol make me feel ever so better lol
Hartley lands is a nice venue it was fishing hard in September very few people caught while we were there 60hr sesh on nicks I managed 2 one mirror at 18lb and a common at 12lb be going back soon there’s good fish in there up to 39lb
Yeah seems I just went at a bad time for that lack in particular. I'll defo go back, perhaps try bramley next time based on people's suggestions so far.
@@WetLines go Bramley when it’s cool bailiff said doesn’t do to well in the hot weather
Well alrighty then. I sure will! Thanks
Hard lake at times mate but on the right day it’s good. Like the other commenter said mate give Bramleys a go if you can in the winter 👍🎣
Consider it on the list to be done!! Thanks
Hi Ian! Genuine question; as it's getting colder now, is there a time/season when fishing is just unviable or can you fish all year round? Thanks
I wouldn't say it becomes unviable. It's a mixture of, does the person want to persist through tough weather, through cold wet weather. And the fish certainly feed and move around alot less, so that's a much higher chance you'll not catch from time to time. But fish will eat all year round it just becomes a matter of being in the right place for the fish.
Was there on the Sunday opposite you behind the island 😂had the same issue with fish showing but not interested in anything we put out there
Oh right!! Unbelievable scenes lol yeah just not the weekend to be there by the sounds of it.
Unlucky mate
Only takes one bite
It sure does!! And sadly I lost that one bite lol. But hopefully next time out will be a different story!!
Anything small and yellow works on nicks
Sweet will bare that in mind next time cheers, same for bramley????
Don’t give up on nicks very productive water, but harder in the winter, bramleys is a much better winter water
Thanks! I'll be sure to get back down there!
@@WetLines no worries if you head over there again drop me a message I will give u some tips, I normally have between 5-8 fish in 24 hour sessions
Thank you, appreciate that!!
@@WetLines no worries keep up the good videos, always look forward to watching them
Thanks, means alot when we get nice feedback. 👍

Good coms, thank you! Note that for future.
