Great job!!! Especially grabbing the boys that were probably bord & having them help you cleaning out the grain bins. Wish more farmers would do that. I was born & raised on the farm & my friends would come over and help. It only made me & my friends better men Today.
I hauled seed corn a few years back for Agrigold out of Lawrenceville IL. They asked my boss to get one of those big belt trailers instead of the walking floor trailers.Seed corn is definitely something to experience.
Mann Family Farms!! One of the best farm videos on the tube. Badger cracking the whip on those three hard working young farmers lol. You guys have a beautiful farm. Here’s hoping you have bumper crops at harvesting time!! Thanks for sharing!!
We have alot of farmers down here in south central Iowa that runs 35ft Macdons,, my opinion, they are the best, and now they came out with corn heads now.
Farm country and heaven!...if you ask me. Never realized they "picked" seed corn, like they pick sweet corn in our area of the country. What's the reasoning? Probably the only time a RED tractor will be on your farm haha. When you change shaker arms/bushings...do you need to re-time everything? I for one, am so glad Deere chose to take their model number off the sides of their heads and light up the Deere emblem...we wanna make sure what brand head we're running..even in the dark...soo GHaayyy.
that was moving right along side picking into the carts I have hauled sweet corn side picking into the truck running along in fourth gear on a 13 speed transmission that is flying
Those were some great bin cleaners! They deserve more than DQ, maybe take them to MO-CASH?😂 Thanks for the seed corn harvest footage! You know you can't harvest corn with a draper head, can you? Happy harvest!!
Thanks for the video loved it. I liked the boys thoughts.
Love the verse at the end

I really like my corner auger Brent 1080 with fewer moving parts.
A good seed dealer would weed eat around their field signs for you 😂

We love our new 50ft fd-2’s
Have hauled everything but seed corn in walking floor. Do you run a sweep tarp in it?
Yes. Very nice to have
Them boys could start their own bin cleaning business and make some serious loot on the weekends. For like 1 month a year.
Did you buy the Walking Floor or just pulling it for the seed company ?
We own two and rent two

I believe they pick on ear for less shatter loss and damage to kernels
@@mannfamilyfarms381 👌🏼makes sense! Have a safe harvest out there!
You got your moneys worth out of them sprockets .
24 years worth lol
Have you ever seen a Kruse offset disk great machine
Yes they look nice
They will chop up some corn stalks only draw back only turns good in one direction takes some HP to pull it correctly
Hmmm the F250 cab looks similar to the “staged” garbage dump in the S790 cab last fall 😂.
Oh no nothing is staged around here 👀 lol
@@mannfamilyfarms381 Shenanigans keep everyone on their toes lol.

They have been picking seed corn here since end of August and they run 14 row head
oh yeah well out here they've been picking seed corn since the first week of august with a 16 row head
What moisture do they try to pick the seed corn ?
25-35
Could have made it a few more years on those sprockets
Agreed…
NICE KIDDOS 25:16
