My dad being one of those with a garage full of tools made a board with a wood edge around it and the mat permanently attached. I did enjoy playing but it was just a case of not always having an opponent lol
Looks good, but my favourite was always Waddingtons Table Soccer, little plastic men with a flat base, and the "ball" was a tiddlywink, I got really good at this as I practiced for hours and hours when I was 9 years old, I still have a few sets of it that I bought over the years and have just introduced it recently to my grandson, he likes it but prefers the fussball type soccer games.
Me and my brother shared the same room we was always locked in.......the door was chained from the outside but we had this exact game and it kept us from going crazy me and my brotheralways had a great imagination and we used to make up games to keep us entertained cuz we was locked in............let's just say mum was neglecting us.....too drugged up and being entertained by strangers 😔 thought I'd paint u a detailed picture............
I may have to buy one of these just for the pitch. Standard Subbuteo pitches are WAY too big for normal American tables. The 5 a side version of this game is the only pitch I can find that will actually fit. Only other options are building my own friggin table (which I cannot do), or pay more than 3x the cost of a Subbuteo set for a half size pitch from Europe (which I will not do).
El tapete verde viene doblado, cuando lo desdoblas tiene las marcas del dobles y quedan un poco levantadas por lo que cuando quieres deslizar los jugadores o el balón puede que detenga la trayectoria de ambas.
Hmmm I’m not entirely sure what to suggest. The ball is plastic but it has a tiny magnet inside it for attaching to the metal ring around the players so whatever you look for it has to be magnetised
After watching your video I searched and found a copy of this great game. However, it was missing the rules as you described. Is there any way you show me where I can get a pdf version to print? I have looked all over with no success. Thanks.
@@markhansen8841 can you please leave yours? I have a public channel so I would like not to leave it around and I can let you know when I get yours so you can delete it
I think it is significant that every review of ANY table football game mentions Subbuteo at some point in the proceedings. Whatever the merits of the other games, Subbuteo (pronounced "Sub-bew-tee-oh" by the way, not "Sub-booty-oh") is the undisputed king of football games, the biggest of them all, the most popular...and the best. :-)
So much memories... As a kid I used to play that with my dad.
A nombre de toda la humanidad que como yo, siempre lo deseamos y nunca lo tivimos, Muchisimas gracias por mostrarnos esto, amigo GRACIAS!
The secret was to keep the pitch under a carpet when not playing !
I have been looking for a long time to find the name of this game. It was my favorite. Thanks a lot man!!!

I'm not a fan of sports myself but sports games are cool sometimes and on the plus side a lot shorter and less physical activity and your inside
Vlw pelo agradecimento forte abraço
Cómo se llama el juego para comprarlo por mercado libre
Still remember when my dad got this for me and my little brother from Woolworths.
Damn, that reminds me, where is my game? Where did I put that?

That's awesome
Is this game still available? Where can I buy this?
You don't know how much I wanted this as a kid. I don't know why I didn't get it, but I guess Dad was content enough with thrashing me mercilessly.

Hello I bought this game second hand and the ball was missing. Is there any alternative I can use as the ball? Thanks.

Where do I get your email?

Are you a fan of fuze ball perhaps ?
Table football? Yeah really enjoy playing it when I get the chance to :)
Yeah, well I suck at it but my friends are like wizards at it

Este fue mi segundo mejor regalo de navidad, pero la neta si estaba medio culero
Subbuteo es er weno
This game is just begging to be played on a pool table. Huge pitch, perfectly flat, more in scale... Just block the pockets up and you're good!
