I liked Star hiding the Griffins on the last fight until the Gargs were thinned out. A lot of players would just try to bring all their forces for the big fight but without Griffins, Gargoyles were kind of a dead weight and once they died to long range rifles, human air force could arrive and turn the tides.
I think the takeaways from this series are: 1. That Riflemen are a good unit. Every Starbuck win, he went rifles. The two losses had no rifles. 2. Expanding too quickly is very risky if the opponent is on top of punishing it - again, all 3 wins had very delayed expansions. The opportunity cost of making the extra workers and expansion in the early game is very significant in this match up.
mass tier 1 ranged units is his strategy to win in this tournament, that's why he played orc and human, so he can abuse headhunter and rifleman in the best way. He lost easily vs Soin when Soin know what he's up to.
I think #1 is suspect, we will have to see. I think it worked because Happy didn't adapt. If it keeps working I am curious to see if UD and specifically Happy can find a counter. If not though then Human is looking strong.

Out of 3 ud players it was guaranteed that 2 would be in lower bracket eliminating each other , before reaching semi finals… Spoiler don’t read beyond if you don’t know results of this tournament: In any case this is first t1 tournament where ud lost. Still reached grand final though

But sure let's gaslight people with "not this patch" statement while truth is that no significant balance changes were made to broken human vs undead matchup (maybe the significant healing scrolls nerf wich killed any gargoyle strategy). 4:05 - taping the corners of your mousepad is done to prevent the mouse cable from snagging onto the edges of your mousepad, and potentially getting into an annoying tugging position. I've also done this to my mousepads several times after getting tired of this event occurring. So I agree with the decision to simply do it every time.

people dont seem to realize that dubai and uae etc are Arab countries with more foreigners than natives. mostly filled with westerners who got enough of the dangers, taxes and mental illness in their countries. theyre economy is also built for foreigners, esp westerners. Its a haven for westerners, and usually more advanced too
Every time there is a good human player, he dominates the game because the faction is too good. Way better than all others. It happened to Sky, Infi, Th00 and now Fortitude.
