Bruce Bruce great video. I was like I’m not going to watch the whole thing it’s too long. 50 mins later damn it’s over already. Yvan thanks for being so open and sharing yourself with all of us.
Great interview !! Hey Yvan you said some things that really meant alot to me as a consumer. When you mentioned taking the time to respond to questions, you have no idea how much that means to a regular guy who just likes to detail his car in NYC. There was never a question I asked that you haven't answered and I ask a lot of questions lol. I appreciate you and Bruce.
Bruce! Yvan! Fantastic and VERY interesting interview. I was pinned to the TV for the entire thing. Yvan putting on the TN accent cracked me up. I can relate to Yvan concern g the need for efficiency. It has been in my bones since my youth. His methods for detailing (efficient methods) really click with me. Thank you for presenting this interview. You have a very calm and inviting demeanor. I hope to meet you, Yvan and Nick someday.
Awesome, thank you so much. I am thrilled that you enjoyed the video as much as I did making it. Yvan definitely had me laughing many times. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Wow, only 5 mins into the video and I’m amazed! Thanks for this; absolutely appreciate getting to learn about Yvan (as a Québécois, there is a lot I can understand and appreciate).
This is something the community is missing, or maybe the algorithm just doesn't send me videos like this. I actually Subscribed and found this myself. Thank you for proving that detailing isn't just buying the right products and learning the proper applications. Detailing is a passion for a lot of us and you've just given proof.
@@Bruces-Garage Everything you're doing is inspiring to me. Your video are very honest and informative and that's all anyone can ask for and that pushes me to learn as much as possible.
Absolutely really enjoyed this video, love listening to you and Yvan, pity I live in the UK, cause I would love to shake both your hands. Keep the videos coming Bruce and Yvan.
What a great interview! Yvan is awesome he has always been very helpful, even calling me when I had a time sensitive question and answering all my emails . I feel bad bothering so much but I trust him!
Thank you. He is extremely committed to his customers and the entire detailing community. He is sincere and passionate about his work and the people who he interacts with in any capacity. A fine man!
Bruce- I thoroughly enjoyed your interview with Yvan. He is an impressive guy! I have the same philosophy as a physician in Atlanta. I don't see practicing medicine as work, more of a privilege and a joy. Your UA-cam channel is also impressive--- I"m envious of your garage and super impressed what you have accomplished in 2 years!!! Thanks for your efforts!! Owen (Dr. Detail from Atlanta)
This was an awesome vid! Ever since I got into detailing I have always wanted to learn more about Ivan since he is a huge inspiration. Ivan is such an interesting person I would love to hear more from him about his life and experiences.
This was awesome! I could listen for another few hours! Yvan is an interesting man! What a great interview! Yvan thank you for sharing. Maybe a part 2 at some point!
That is a great interview, thanks to both of you for a fantastic video. Ivan, if you get over to the UK, you can use my vehicle for as many videos as you like!
Great video! Wasn’t aware that by the time he started cleaning vehicles professionally he had already been doing that for a third of his life. Not sure I’d trust anyone else cleaning my car, although I would probably let Yvan and Sylvie do it if only to watch, learn, and ask questions. Oh, and hearing Yvan speak with accents is hilarious!
I’ve always subscribed to the saying, the only dumb question, is the question not asked. Asking to become more knowledgeable is something that seems to be severely lacking in today’s society.
@diydetailofficial Yvan, I heard the term Detailing on 1993 or 1994. I was in California when I heard it and I didn't know exactly what was it until later years like on 1997 I saw a side area of car washing establishments where they were offering polishing. I remember when polishing was only something seen on paint shops from which I had one of my uncles who was a university professor of chemistry, physics and biology since he had those three masters degrees, and he worked at the paint shop with his cousins and friends. I learned a lot from him in terms of chemistry, protection, some of the processes and how to do it(hands on when I reached about 12. I was working on weekends at my grandfather's supermarket since I was 7 cleaning and doing chores there too😜

I’ve sometimes wondered how Yvan and Nick first met, then decided to go into business together.
Great question! I tried to focus on things that somewhat outside of the business and detailing.
Nick hired me for training.
The accents made me laugh major.hahaa i wiuldnnever of thoughtm
Me too! I loved that part. Thanks for watching.
