This has nothing to do with the movie references but more likely a small detail. We know that ghostface was not a one killer but either 2 or 3 killer. This also happens in the game.If you use teleportation and look closely at the knives, the color changed from silver to either red or purple. This means that there's only billy and two characters that is originally from the mk universe but who are they? Well, if the knife is red, it is kira. And if its purple, it was kobra. There's also couple moves of them like kira spinning and kobra fire kick.
I think this would be considered a tiny detail. The fact that Ghostface isn't a fighter and just some normal people behind the mask shows when he easily gets knocked back in the intro's and movesets while the rest of the cast either block or brace themselves.

Yeah, but Billy was more likely than not, the one making all the phone calls. While Stu typically did the dirty stuff. And tbh, I feel like Mickey from the 2nd film is more in line with this Ghostface's personality, than either of the killers in Scream 1.
It'd also feed the fan theories that Stu is still alive. At least we can hope for a William Afton guest fighter, so Ghostface can ask if they've met before.
Another interesting detail is, after one of Ghostface’s brutalities, he says “Now I see something red”. But, when you do it on Reptile, he says “Now I see something green”.
8:52 there’s actually 3 ghostfaces, certain moves allow you to change the killers, you can tell by the knife and their moves. And the other 2 are very forgotten old MK characters, Kobra and Kira
It's actually 4, considering Ghostface has a teleport which Is the killers switching places. Sharing everything. Kira and Kobra not only have special moves, but immediately leave when they're hit, so it can't be them on the teleport. So it must be Billy and Stu normally, when you receive a fatal blow/fatality, it just so happens to be Billy on the receiving end.
How it s trick question? He never says what's Jason's name? He ask who is the killer in the movie not the franchise. Jason doesn't appear until Friday the 13th part 2.
@@carlosbarrios9471 because it’s difficult to answer, As There’s 3 Killers as a whole (Pamela, Jason and Roy/Father of the kid who loved chocolate) and is also dependant on if you watched the entire franchise or not. “Name the killer in Friday the 13th” is a trick question because it stems from people assuming that GF is implying the franchise as a whole and thus say Jason, Without realizing that Pamela was the killer in the first movie, which is named…. Here's another cool detail about Ghostface. In MK1, there are 3 individuals who don the killer's mask, as we can see in his fatal blow. One is Billy, the original Ghostface, and the other 2 are Kira and Cobra, mercenaries from the Black Dragon hired by Billy. You can deduce this from the fact that when you " switch " between Ghostfaces during a fight, some of his moves will be identical to Kira and Kobra's from their appearance in Mortal Kombat: Deception, where both were playable.
Ghostface has a teleport In the game which Is the killers switching places. Since they share the same moveset and Kira & Kobra immediately ditch when hit, it's safe to assume Stu is also there.

Another thing to note is that in Mortal Kombat 1, there's not one or two Ghostfaces, but actually three and the beauty is that you can swap to each of them using a move called Backstage Pass. The main one you fight with is Billy Loomis. The other two is the Enforcer and the Assasin. How the hell does the switch work? I can swap no problem but if I try to jump or take any damage it automatically switches back to Billy. Is my copy bugged or is it on a timer?
Scream and Scary Movie franchises are owned by the same people, with a Scary Movie 6 said to be in production, so a DLC of the parody mask is not improbable.
He is, he literally states Friday the 13th, not part 2 or mentions franchise. He's taking about the movie itself. And when this movie came out there wasn't a remake.
The reason he says there are "at least 6" is because hes counting the ones currently in the game. Theres billy, Kobra, and Kira operating as a group as well as Stu and two other ones that are only there for the mirror match.
You forgot one: Whenever Ghostface does a brutality, sometimes he'll say "I see something red". But if you do a brutality to Reptile who has green blood, he'll instead say "I see something green"
Another fun Detail is that the name of the victim during Ghostface's fatality is changed to...well, "Victim", because he's a slasher villain. Him crawling on the floor is also very similar (and maybe a reference) to Rambo's move in MK11 - another movie character. And finally - in his ending cutscene, you can see that Johnny Cage is playing a Dead By Daylight clone with the "Stab" title on the top left. Also if you're worried about showing the blood, you can tweak the "Gore" slider under settings and/or install the "Blood Customizer" mod, which allows you to change it to a color of your choosing.
It's interesting that they brought Kobra and Kira to become Ghostface doubles. Not to mentioned they brought so much fan service from previous Scream movies.
I absolutely love how with every iteration of Ghostface in every game they appear in gets Ghostface, a clumsy predatory stalker with a love for campy horror movies.
If you look at the phone he's dialing a "friend" on, you'll see its one of those older type telephones, like the one at the very beginning of the first Scream movie. Also, the whole "dialing a friend" move looks very similar to what Ghostface does in Terrodrome, a fanmade fighting game. A lot of the moves remind me of it, so I woudn't be surprised if someone was a fan of it too.

Captain, there's an Easter egg on Deadlock the new valve game with the movie ReAnimator. You can see a man by the name of H West that is a specialist in Reanimating among other things.

This doesn’t have anything to do with scream but I was playing red dead redemption and found something and I needed to share it Idk if he’s already covered this but I was playing the mission when you break eagle flies out of the military fort and picked up a hat and then Charles said some dialogue along the lines of, “better hope that hat doesn’t have lice” idk if this is widely known but it is the first time I’ve heard it, and thought it was interesting
The 3 ghost face that we see are actually billy loomis,Kobra and Kira. Kobra and Kira are 2 characters from really old mortal combat games. so there you go
6:04 but guess what, most of the IN APP ads on here are VERY revealing or at least not at all kid friendly- Source: saw an "xxx" video downloader ad from yt shorts, FROM UA-cam ITSELF
5:11 he actually does, in the one with Liu Kang where he goes “hell yeah it is, fight a fire god is coming off my bucket list!” *he looks downward at Liu Kang during that line* this happens a few other times too
There's also one where after you win a round ghost face will walk to his respective edge of the screen and a second will come up and stab him before taking his place. Not sure if that's a reference to a scene or not but I found it pretty cool.
Such attention to detail and care for the source material. This feels like anything other than cheap or low hanging fruit in my eyes. Everyone involved did their homework, even including the movie accurate alterations in the different cloak materials and conditions and slight different mask shapes.
Here's a detail for your next hidden video game details video: in dead by daylight, the new killer hound master will react when seeing Ellen Ripleys cat jonesy in the lobby. Also the hound master has unique dialogues when performing the mori toward specific survivors but most especially, Nicolas cage.
8:43 I still wish that Ghostface's identity was randomized, so each match it would be a different killer under the mask. I get it would've been expensive but at least having him cycle between Bill and Stu would've been sick, and the: "Is that you, Billy?" "Of course it is Stu." exchange would've been much more interesting.
If you want to add to this I think some of Ghostface's masks in MK1 are also references to Horror greats (I know that 2 are references to Hocky mask Jason and Bag mask Jason but there may be more that I'm forgetting )
I don't know if you covered it in a previous hidden details episode, but in My Time At Portia, when you're playing with someone on the seesaw, if you launch them high enough, there's a chance that they will come back down with a bird in hand. Thought it was pretty funny
I honestly think it’s fun that MK has guest characters from 70s, 80s and 90s horror and action movies. It was put well by a commenter I can’t remember: “it’s like super smash bros if your dad picked the character roster.”
I think technically the strings musical effect that plays during some of Ghostface's moves also counts as a reference/easter egg, even if an obvious one.
There is a homelander brutality where he punches through the enemies chest and is annoyed to find there is blood on it. This is a direct reference to The Boys.
Another reference you forgot was when you do a brutality with ghostface one of his lines are “Now I see something red” that references to one of the scream movies
Another non Scream reference that the other 2 Ghostface in the Fatal Blow is in fact 2 members of the Black Dragon. It was confirmed to the Ghostface's borrowed moves, which is Kira's and Cobra's
So I saw this while Super was playing Kombat League. But I believe if you’re the Enforcer or Assassin at the end of match that has been won, Billy will switch in and stab the other Ghostface before the next match starts. Enjoyed your video!
Remember there is a ghostface announcer you can get from the tower till next week so I would assume that will have more references/Easter eggs. You have to get top 5% though.
Heres some more easter eggs in mk1 1. If you use conan with kenshi and do the 1st fatality for conan, the eye you usually see is gone because he's blind 2 there is now the pink ninja named floyed
Stab wasn't out yet before Stu and Billy died. They wouldn't know about it. It's why I think Richie the super fan turned ghost face is the one who says Stab is his favorite movie.
Oh, I got one that’s a little iffy. In the intro with Kenshi, Ghostface references a Japanese horror film named: Tokyo Gore Police. It’s a little questionable but if they did reference the movie, then I’m very impressed

Idk if he’s already covered this but I was playing the mission when you break eagle flies out of the military fort and picked up a hat and then Charles said some dialogue along the lines of, “better hope that hat doesn’t have lice” idk if this is widely known but it is the first time I’ve heard it, and thought it was interesting
The 3 ghost face that we see are actually billy loomis,Kobra and Kira. Kobra and Kira are 2 characters from really old mortal combat games. so there you go
Ghostface might be one of the best Fighting game guests ever
Something funny i noticed is that they like to use kitana as a reference to other female chatacters from the dlc fighter's
6:04 but guess what, most of the IN APP ads on here are VERY revealing or at least not at all kid friendly-
Source: saw an "xxx" video downloader ad from yt shorts, FROM UA-cam ITSELF
So close 1 million, lets go!!
I requested the voice box detail in the last video. Thanks for mentioning it.
5:11 he actually does, in the one with Liu Kang where he goes “hell yeah it is, fight a fire god is coming off my bucket list!” *he looks downward at Liu Kang during that line* this happens a few other times too
6:42 I appreciate this detail
There's also one where after you win a round ghost face will walk to his respective edge of the screen and a second will come up and stab him before taking his place. Not sure if that's a reference to a scene or not but I found it pretty cool.
Such attention to detail and care for the source material. This feels like anything other than cheap or low hanging fruit in my eyes. Everyone involved did their homework, even including the movie accurate alterations in the different cloak materials and conditions and slight different mask shapes.
Chad survives because he's the new Dewey. Dude survived ridiculous things in all 4 movies before meeting his end.
Also when performing the un expected frok behind ghost face fatality on kenshi, Ghostface’s side camera is actially more extended than the others
Love your video and keep up the great work you are awesome
Scary movie is a classic lmao
I even thought GhostFace was a original from Scary Movie lol
Here's a detail for your next hidden video game details video: in dead by daylight, the new killer hound master will react when seeing Ellen Ripleys cat jonesy in the lobby. Also the hound master has unique dialogues when performing the mori toward specific survivors but most especially, Nicolas cage.
8:43 I still wish that Ghostface's identity was randomized, so each match it would be a different killer under the mask. I get it would've been expensive but at least having him cycle between Bill and Stu would've been sick, and the:
"Is that you, Billy?" "Of course it is Stu." exchange would've been much more interesting.
Ghostface also brought up Tokyo Gore Police while going up against Kenshi
If you want to add to this I think some of Ghostface's masks in MK1 are also references to Horror greats (I know that 2 are references to Hocky mask Jason and Bag mask Jason but there may be more that I'm forgetting )
I watch your videos all the time.
Thank you!
@ keep up the great work and thanks for the reply back.
2:28 the answer to the trivia question is Mrs. Vorhees, Jason didn’t start killing until the sequel. Ending canoe jumpscare is up for debate.
The dooey kill is also the finishing move that was included in the scream bundle in black ops Cold War
Is it just me or has Ghostface been appearing in a ton of other crossovers recently?
I don't know if you covered it in a previous hidden details episode, but in My Time At Portia, when you're playing with someone on the seesaw, if you launch them high enough, there's a chance that they will come back down with a bird in hand. Thought it was pretty funny
I love how in MK1,when playing as ghost face, you just play as to people like in the movies
Id love to sometimes get stu
8:24, NYEH! NYEH! I'MGONNASTABYOU! NYEH!
You can get a great look at Ghostface under the mask if you fail "Test your Might".
yesssss reference to Scary Movie 1!!!
There is a homelander brutality where he punches through the enemies chest and is annoyed to find there is blood on it. This is a direct reference to The Boys.
Been alot cooler if they would of made it stu instead of billy
7:20 hey now i resent that! Lol
Another reference you forgot was when you do a brutality with ghostface one of his lines are “Now I see something red” that references to one of the scream movies
Well that sure is really something else
2:25. Ghostface isn't talking about Part 2 onwards, just the first movie. So because of that the killer is Pamela Voorhees.
That’s cool! I’ll check it out
Remember there is a ghostface announcer you can get from the tower till next week so I would assume that will have more references/Easter eggs. You have to get top 5% though.
Heres some more easter eggs in mk1
1. If you use conan with kenshi and do the 1st fatality for conan, the eye you usually see is gone because he's blind
2 there is now the pink ninja named floyed
Mrs. Voorhees and also for the scary movie one yes I have the same problem
Stab wasn't out yet before Stu and Billy died. They wouldn't know about it. It's why I think Richie the super fan turned ghost face is the one who says Stab is his favorite movie.
I’d suggest using a character with green blood to try this stuff out. I’ve seen other UA-camrs have success with it.
Oh, I got one that’s a little iffy. In the intro with Kenshi, Ghostface references a Japanese horror film named: Tokyo Gore Police. It’s a little questionable but if they did reference the movie, then I’m very impressed
Can't see it mentioned in the comments, but one of the intros with Kenshi mentions the movie Tokyo Gore Police which is quite a deep cut
I believe Skeet Ulrich, who played Billy in the first film, allowed NetherRealm to use his likeness for the unmasked Ghostface model.
5:10 actually peacemaker in the dialogue with kung lao talks about his abs whilst checking them
0:42 Did he not realize that that line could’ve been a reference to the horror movie psycho as well?
