I was planning to finish this video that I had started a while ago, but never got into it. Today, I decided
to make a new video (since I have a day off), but I'm a little sick, so I decided therefore to not make my
throat worse with a commentary. Instead, I just finished this video! :)
I hope you guys enjoy this one. I put quite a lot of time into it to make sure the scenes look as similar as possible
in terms of post processing. The models are from different authors, but I tried mixing them and finding the closest possible ones.

Graphics are delusional loser garbage, gamers never cared about graphics in the past, they cared about having fun. Games are supposed to look unrealistic, this excessive realism is ruining everything. The games are becoming almost as boring as real life.

There is a reason graphic cards and the technology is advancing the way it is. Unity is much better in terms of security.

Someone else already mentioned this, but it's not really a comparison, if you're using two distinctly different scenes. In this case, they're completely different environments. If it were to be the same environment and overall scene, you'd be able to properly determine the differences.
Even if you compare the same scenes, it may be that the creator is better in one engine and worse in another and comparing the possibilities will be false.
Graphic is so good that it's unreal.

There are much better scenes in unity than he show there... This comparison suck for one single reason... If you doing engine vs engine you just cannot have two driffrient scenes... You can't really make a comparison of the thing you're comparing is not the same. In this case the scenery.
That's true. Unreal provides better effects but the Unreal scenes are just better themselves so I'd say the comparison is biased.
Still easy to tell that lighting is handled much better in Unreal.
Nature Sim lighting in general is much better in unreal, but without a ton of work, unreal’s reflections suck

Cool project Sykoo! Obviously BOTH engines have great capabilities. The constant competition between users of Unreal and Unity cracks me up. Unless one of the fans are working in a large development team on a AAA game the differences will be negligible. Find your tool of choice and learn it well. Most indie devs will never use the highest end functionality of either engine. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah. As a developer, I cry whenever I need to make a new model, and I don't like to download them from other people. It doesn't make sense to have realistic lighting and reflections on something that looks like a five-year-old made it with Play-Doh. I use Unity because I hate C++.

I was to say the same thing...as soon as I realized it wasn't a direct comparison, I just fast forwarded to see how realistic were those scenarios. I mean, I know Unreal is more realistic than Unity, but without comparing the same 2 scenes, you can't know how more it is.

The Unity comparison doesn't feature the same lighting that unreal is using, so its not really a fair comparison. with the same lighting they would both look about 80% the same

It seems as though this compares the quality of the scenery rather than the engines themselves. Besides lighting and reflections, there’s not much to compare unless we have the exact same setup.

Agreed. Unity is more than capable of getting close to the quality of Unreal; possibly even on par. It just needs more massaging.
Besides, Unity is a much lighter client so it runs faster if coded correctly. Unreal is great for those who don't know coding and want to make a game quickly, but it doesn't make Unity any less capable. It just doesn't hold your hand as much.
It's not quite as naturally pretty as Unreal, but with custom shaders and baked light maps it gets close enough to fool all but the most experienced professionals.

May someone tells me what are the key differences between game engine and 3d design programs like Maya? Can these game engines be used to design objects without using other programs?
In the 3d modeling programs, you create the objects. In the game engine, you put the objects together and write code to make things do stuff (like the player moving around).

Thats only a waste of Time, these Engines are in a different League and made for totally different purposes. Sure Unity can produce good Visuals up to todays Standards but whats it worth if it cant bring them into a Game more then a Room and produce playable Framerates what only depend on the Users Hardware. Its simple Unreal can, Unity can not.
I've never had the issue with getting the same look unreal can have with a loss in performance in unity. it all comes down in the end to the developer to make the game run better. you can't really blame the engine for running the assets bad, you just have to design the asset around the engine to get the best performance. Also both engines are not in a different league. they both can all run on the same systems and can produce the same games with similar visuals. the only real difference is workflow. unreal seems to get more realistic lighting with less effort. but that can also be a negative because it could limit you in other types of visual styles that would then require a lot more effort to change it. were as unity if feel its harder to sometimes work with lighting, but its more flexible to get different types of those visual looks. and again in the end its up to the developer what engine they rather use based on the workflow of the engine. I've used cryengine, unity , and unreal engine in the past, and i always come back to unity because its the most i'm comfortable using, and i can seem to get better results out of it personally.
