I just purchased these shoes for my first half marathon, that’s on the 7th of May. They felt pretty comfortable on my long flat feet. I can’t wait to break them in.
Thanks for supporting the channel! The Diadora Equipe Nucleo is one of our favorite sleeper shoes. It consistently competes against our most popular shoes like the Clifton or the Ghost.
I've been looking at this shoe as a more responsive but still well cushioned option post-abdominal surgery. There is like zero legit reviews of this shoe on the internet which made me skeptical, despite loving how it felt. Thanks for the great video!
We appreciate your support for the channel! Diadora is definitely one of those smaller brands that you have to try on to believe in it. A lot of people in our store really like this shoe when compared to other balanced cushion shoes like the Clifton from Hoka.
cool review. I've had several pair of the Mythos blueshield 5-6-7, which I absolutely LOVE, but wonder how the Nucleo feel compared to them. The only diadora I've had I felt was too soft in the sole was the Volo2. I weigh about 210lbs and the mythos feels great all the time and have held up really well and I still wear my older versions several days a week. I have seen on other diadora reviews (and on the website, they suggest actually going 1/2 size down rather than up, which is what I've experienced as a better fit. Maybe that changes as you get to higher sizes above 11???). Also, since you brought up the Atomo, how it compares to the Mythos. I don't want a spongy soft sole like a Hoka, but something with some sturdiness, but not rigid like a brick. I don't see any diadora in the running stores where I live so I can't try anything on unfortunately, but am familiar with their sizing from using their diadora brasil soccer cleats since the 80/90's/2000's. Love the brand.
Diadora shoes are made in China, Thailand, and Vietnam. They have premium models that are Made in Italy. The Nucleo is not one of them. If you are looking for a running shoe that is manufactured in Italy, we recommend the Diadora Equipe Atomo. It feels like a more cushioned Nucleo.
We have found the Nucleo to be more durable than the Clifton 8. There is something about Diadora's manufacturing that makes the Nucleo hold up better compared to the Clifton.

Run Moore you running schnitzel! I’m gonna have to make the trip to your store some time? 😁
What about the Diodora Cellula?
We will be recording that video on the upcoming Wednesday morning. Expected release the week of the 17th.
What is the stack height of this shoe? I can't seem to find it listed online. Thanks!
This is cool
Good stuff.
Thanks for watching!
Just bought it!(:
Let us know what you think!
Any thoughts? Thinking about getting this shoe for an all-around active shoe for running, walking, occasional pickup sports like volleyball
can you compare this model to Atomo v7000?
The Atomo v7000 is considered the premium version of the Nucleo shoe. Higher quality upper, more light and responsive midsole, and 100% made in Italy.
