Ended up watching the film today. I had 3 hours of pure nostalgia before finally crying at the end. You do not understand how happy I was to here the original theme tune.
I had chills too, my deceased father loved so much the saga, and he had a lot of common with James's behavior. So it was really painful to hold back my tears, i just saw that Mathilda and Madeleine went though the same pain as me Mathilda lose her father and Madeleine suffered when her past resurfaced, i just felt like this

@brad noneya: Absolutely! With 2006 "Casino Royale" he was the reason, why the James Bond franchise is still alive! His contribution, his effort and his ability to suffer in the role of 007 is beyond any words! When he "retires" from the role, we´ll gonna miss him so much and I do hope that NTTD will be an epic 007 movie and he goes out with a bang!!!!!!!! He truly deserves it!
For me Moore was my favourite then brosnan but Craig is superb in the role very close to the representation in the original novels don't think he should be replaced though even though it would be the end of bond

Agreed, a fine tribute to Barry for sure. The beginning reminds me of The Man With The Golden Gun a little bit. Very cool. Sounds like Zimmer may have the best score since the John Barry. This deserves to be heard on the big screen, (hopefully next April)....not on a computer or TV. I will wait.
Being an outsider looking in I must say Bond music barely scratches mediocrity. This particular piece is one of the lesser works of Zimmer for sure. Admittedly after hearing it without the lyrics it's half decent but yeah.. guess one has to be a fan of Bond music to truly appreciate this track. TLDR it's not a good soundtrack
There are many movies releasing on streaming platforms but James Bond deserves the big screen We will see this together in cinemas and have the true cinema feel again

John Barry was a pretty mediocre composer. I commend Zimmer for trying but I am not surprised that yet another Bond soundtrack is down the drain. Without the lyrics it's better but nowhere near great.

@@dylanburow-official IMO, we haven't had a proper Bond score since David Arnold's QOS.. Newman is a fine composer, but he just wasn't right for Bond.. Arnold did the best to remain true to that John Barry style, while moving it forward into different areas... This is a big step back in the right direction.

This has to be one of the best James Bond picture of modern times. The setting, plots, cliffhangers, betrayal, all clear up in this movie. It also has a deep romance between Bond and doctor Madeleine Swann played by the beautiful Lea Helene Seydoux blonde, French, seductive and a semi villain. In addition the music and the locations and the gadgetries simply the best.
Hans is doing the LORD'S WORK on this Bond score!!! WOW!!! I've held off listening to it as long as I could. usually wait for the films to hear the score fresh.
I like this. Has a less fussy, less beat driven sound than Thomas Newman's messes for scores. I would have however loved to get another David Arnold score.

Movie was excellent. 2 and a half hours of pure classic Bond and then 10 minutes of crying by eyes out. Beautiful ending
