I loved this James Bond the most. Never thought Daniel can replace Pierce Brosnan. However, he could. Yes, Pierce was cool, nice looking gentleman. But Daniel was a kind of more grounded, father-like caring person. And at the last movie he proved to be one. More men could associate themselves with Daniel's bond, rather than Pierces. Yet, my hats off for both of these actors for showing the world how men should behave.
The death of one of the most iconic characters in movie history. Who better to score such a moment as the absolutely superb Hans Zimmer. Unforgettable.

Oh, I'm so sorry. As a parent, I cannot even begin to fathom the magnitude of your loss. It's a year since you wrote this but, I hope that we'll as the inevitable pain, you are filled with happy memories of your son.
I am a 32 year old man. Never really been the emotional type. Cried when my mother died. Cried when my grandmother died. But stuff like movies and stuff have never really gotten to me. THAT SAID…I have no shame in admitting that I started sobbing when Q and Bond started talking. And I absolutely, without holding back, from a VERY visceral place in my heart, absolutely broke down and didn’t stop crying for at least an hour after when Léa Seydoux said at the end, with an overpowering crack in her voice: “WE JUST NEED MORE TIME… …IF WE ONLY HAD MORE TIME.” It brought up a lot of feelings and fears of mine concerning my father who has been in declining health in recent months. And part of it was realizing just how powerful a father’s love is. I also have always loved Bond since I was a child. And seeing my childhood movie hero/icon/man who could never die/Double-O/Commander with his License to Kill and who always got the job done no matter what actually die on screen was just…unexpected. But I also immediately appreciated its guttural and unexplainably beautiful microscopic dissection of what “life” truly means and of the human experience as a whole. More than anything though, that sentence is the struggle we humans face as part of our existence. That is the best summation of the human experience I can think of. Our loved ones pass away. Friendships fade because of distance or tragedy. And we think that the pain we feel in that moment could be treated by more time. But time is the one thing we can never have more of. The only thing, and I do mean THE only, thing that is measurable is the passage of time. Mathematics. Numbers. Everything had to be created as a system by humans so that we could, as finite beings, make some since of an infinite universe. Time never stops. The future is always ahead and the past is always behind us. Time is always the very moment we are in at any given time. Because time is linear. And the universe has revealed to us over and over that this linear design is on purpose. It’s there to remind us that the only time that really matters is not the past we can’t change or the future we can’t predict. It is the present. Once a point in time passes by, it leaves the universe forever. It can only survive via our memories, and the feelings we had felt in that moment can never TRULY be felt again. What makes life so fragile and also so painful is the fact that we know, as humans, that everything and everyone has an expiration date. If we were able to subvert time and make something truly immortal, it would lose its beauty and its value. Bond, like Safin stated, is a weapon himself. The man who can’t be killed. The Double-O with a License to Kill. He’s a valuable agent. So valuable that MI6 and his past friends and foes won’t let him retire in peace and continue to drag him back into battle. He literally has no time to die because they won’t give him time to die on his own terms. And yet, when he sees Mathilde for the first time, he realizes everything has changed. Now, having no time to die means something entirely different. Now, he does not have the time to die because he must focus on saving and protecting his love and his progeny so that he can finally, actually, FOR ONCE…be happy. But, like the weapon he was destined to be, his happy ending was never something that could happen. And so he did the MOST selfless, MOST FATHERLY thing anyone could do…he sacrificed himself and chose to die on his own terms, rather than get off the island and continue on for years just…existing? Living behind glass or in a bubble? Never able to touch Madeline or his daughter. Not until they find a cure for the virus-which will likely never happen. And now, Madeline and Mathilde HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD. Because Bond has given his time to them. Finally, she-who was truly on the reverse of the same coin Bond was on-can live in peace, and though he can’t be there in the flesh per se, he is there with her always because of the little pieces of him that exist within Mathilde. And also through his legacy. Through all the stories Madeline will have to share with her about a man named Bond… James Bond. 🥺
A fantastic ode to Daniel Craigs James Bond, and at the same time an ode to all men out there willing to make the sacrifice. James' epic finale was in consistence with the best traditions of the British navy. And I'm saying that as a Norwegian. For me the ultimate emotional tour de force out of all the Zimmer tracks. A father sacrificing himself simultaenously for his loved ones, his country and the planet. What could be grander than that?
@@TK-id3jz There is a gospel inference to all of it. James Bond is the one who sacrificed himself so that others could live, in particular his nearest and dearest and by extension all of humanity. he died in action, his final mission. As soon as he was poisoned i was like, oh no.... and then they started playing the sad music, i knew he wasn't going to make it out alive this time... they really ended James Bond. He had everything he wanted, he could have finally retired in peace with a wife, a daughter leaving his past behind, but alas it was too good to be true, he was devoted to his job as an agent, he died Nobley and honorably, a hero saving the world one last time... tragic, sad ending to a legendary character.
what movie did you watch? he didn't die saving the world he actually died for love. which in my opinion it ruined the ending of the movie. because James Bond was always a tool of his country, the UK. anything in his personal life was always supposed to be secondary he always ended up with the girl, at the end of the movie, and this movie, to placate these woke sensibilities, feminism, and all this other garbage, they wanted him to self-sacrifice. he had already saved the world, then he found out that he was poisoned, in a way that if he encountered the love of his life, she would die, I can't remember her name. that went totally against the whole James Bond premise. personal life was always secondary, it was always duty first. you say that he got everything he wanted in the end, no he didn't, actually all he got was dead, he did do a noble thing, he knew that he couldn't keep her away, even in casual passing she would die in close proximity to him. the writers came up with this thing to let him die for love. wouldn't it have been better if he would have lived for love? that was just screwed up, it was kind of in a way good storytelling up into the point that you realize that this is the one problem that one of the worlds best problem solvers could not solve. if you think about it James Bond had damn near genius level intellect, really quick wits, really quick reflexes, he could do everything from pilot a fighter jet to mountain climbing ,everything in between, but this was the one thing that he could not think his way out of, there was no intellect to save him which is kind of infuriating. it really makes me mad, that's what James Bond was all about, figuring out a way to do things, but they threw ball curve at him The writers gave him an insolvable problem maybe if he would have had 3 days to figure it out he could have got together with q they would have got together with some geneticist, but he literally didn't have any time they wrote the perfect ending in that if you want to kill somebody off, this is the way to do it, can't think his way out of this, doesn't have enough time. and it made me so sad you know I was a grown ass man in his '50s and I started crying. it's like when Han Solo died or actually got killed, my daughter in the movie theater poked her mom and she said is dad crying? and it was like although Han Solo was never one of my favorite Star wars characters, it was the death of childhood, as I knew it. wow they killed part of my childhood, they killed one of the original iconic characters off for no reason other than a writer and director wanting to shake things up. I feel exactly the same way with James Bond, there was no reason to kill him off. we knew that Daniel Craig was going out to pastor, he said that his body just couldn't take it anymore. I had a best friend that passed away she never liked the James Bond the series other than Pierce brosnan she loved him to death, she was like no one would ever be a better James Bond, and she saw the very first movie with Daniel Craig, after that she was always in the movie theater when a new Bond movie came out she was just in awe of Daniel Craig. she said everything from his piercing blue eyes, he had a roughness to him he looked like a real person, somebody that would really be doing that type of work, he wasn't traditionally handsome, he actually looked like a real man, a man's man she loved Pierce brosnan, for a different reason because he was just so suave, and so handsome, whereas Daniel Craig was attractive in another way, he was like ridiculously athletic looking but also she said that the way he actually wore his tailored suits like was just perfect, and that anger that resided in him, where just at any moment it's like the violence is just in him, it's barely contained. He's like a person with an extremely short fuse like he would rather choose violence she loved that, and actually I love that about him which is why I'm going on and on about this. I understand that he was never coming back but they didn't have to kill him off like that it actually seemed like it hurt the series more than anything. maybe I'm just hurt because another childhood character is been taken away and for no good reason.
When they announced Hans Zimmer to do the score, I knew it was gonna be good. What he delivered was astonishing. He's a true legend and I am glad we got him for this movie. Just love it!
Definitely a fitting tribute to the actor that play Bond the way we all knew how it should have been done. I love to rewatch all the 007 movies with Daniel Craig. He re-energized the series.
In the end, Bond knew he made a perfect child, he had great respect for the Royal Navy, and he understood his genre and era was gone. He served until the last full measure.
i don`t mind admitting in my 50s i cried at the end of this film , James Bond never dies but if you`re going to die i would want Hans Zimmer playing in the back ground.
The death of James bond depicted by Daniel Craig so poignantly in this last film pierced my heart that he had to make the ultimate sacrifice for his country, the world and his family. The music of Hans Zimmer is so sensitive.
His legacy will continue through his beautiful daughter and the one "Bond Girl" he truly loved and that truly loved him. Amazing movie and soundtrack but ultimately hard to watch when you have grown up with the character over so many decades.
Yeah he’s one of a kind. Kinda makes me wish I had the language to articulate what makes his music so good. While I don’t, nevertheless it is absolutely brilliant!

I had my doubts when Daniel Craig was cast as Bond. But to my surprise, he did justice to the iconic character. A beautiful end to the franchise. Kudos to Hans Zimmer as well.
I'm not one to cry, but this film's ending combined with this wonderful composition made me cry a lot. Without a shadow of a doubt, this was and will be the best 007 of all. Yeah, I don't think he's dead, but I'm looking forward to the next film and I think we'll see him again.
I always cry to this soundtrack because of all he sacrificed of having, and keeping everyone safe involving specially his daughter and woman he loves!!!
I was born a Muslim in Iraq. I was worried and depressed, sitting and looking at the Tigris River in my city.Jesus' face appeared to me in the water and told me. "Son, you're not alone" And now I'm a Christian, and I pray every day at the edge of the river.Thank you Jesus for this grace. I'm not alone right now. Jesus is with me.
Hans Zimmer contemporary genus in our days how could you forget about such brilliant, artful talent. His music will Live in our hearts and souls forever and always‼️
A legend had to be matched with a legendary composer.....the music and that last scene of Bond climbing to the top to face the missiles, the look in his face and eyes.....unforgettable. Craig was brilliant. Watching a legend die like that...I cried. Hard.
This is one of the legit few times I cried in the cinema. Part of it is because of how much I love bond as a character and franchise and the other point is this soundtrack. So heartbreaking and somehow sadder than we have all the time in the world. Saddest movie soundtrack. Only possibly Beaten by anakins betrayal
Gets me everytime. Never expected to be choked up, but the emotional journey through all the films culminated in something epic but so sad. I can only hope for a Bond, and scripts to match in the future. But this has been something.
Barbara Broccoli, I have been next to Bond since the very beginning. The movies and the people behind them have made quite a positive difference in my life. I was deeply saddened and moved when Sean left us and now that the character has died and my life is winding down I feel it fitting that Bond should be a good memory of the golden era of cinema when good prevailed over evil and a young boy could have someone to believe in. My opinion only but these days do not seem to support heroes anymore.
That music reveals all of the emotions. You can recall all of your downtimes, how you've been feeling betrayed, broken by someone you trusted but still loved. Just beautiful.
The wave of emotions this brings is simply amazing. The score starts dark and soft, giving the audience an opportunity to feel the suspense and anxiousness of "will Bond make it!?". As it progresses, you can't help but feel a sense of loss because of the score's crescendo. At the end, the violins come in SCREAMING due to his death.... This piece is a masterpiece and when paired up with Daniel's acting and the audiences love for the bond character it becomes a feeling you can't describe. Pure brilliance ❤
People may have given this movie huge criticism personally I loved it and have watched it many times but one thing surely no one can argue with is that Hans Zimmer and Bond is the most perfect match ever!? ❤
@@BeBetterTomorrow321 Sure... let's make Bond a soap opera drama. Apparently, you can't separate emotion from logic and canon... "diddums". The clowns had to add drama and emotions to make it seem meaningful.
HZ you are at it again here..for some of us on the late cold night ...we call it no time to cry.....you keep showing up and proove that you can collect all our pieces as if we lent them to you... thanks may God reward you more and more.,.
No need of my compliments, but Hans Zimmer is a Master Class, very technical and if one observe he is a visionary making you feel part of the film with the music he produce. Bravo, no Bravissimo Maestro!
Agreed, his music has accompanied and sounded some of the most iconic movies of our generation. Legend. No doubt about it. His contribution is unmatched.

The 3 best Bond movies.. my opinion 1. No Time To Die 2. Skyfall 3. Casino Royale Daniel Craig - My favourite Bond of all 5. I believe Lazenby would have made a great Bond too if they had given him the chance to do more

In the end, Bond knew he made a perfect child, he had great respect for the Royal Navy, and he understood his genre and era was gone. He served until the last full measure.
I imagine my life ending and this playing in the background. My life replayed in front of me.
i don`t mind admitting in my 50s i cried at the end of this film , James Bond never dies but if you`re going to die i would want Hans Zimmer playing in the back ground.
What's age got to do with emotion. Another unoriginal desperate for likes comment.
England will never die!
The death of James bond depicted by Daniel Craig so poignantly in this last film pierced my heart that he had to make the ultimate sacrifice for his country, the world and his family. The music of Hans Zimmer is so sensitive.
Hans Zimmer ist ein Genie, seine Musik wird für immer unvergessen sein.
They’ll never be able to replace bond after that. What a powerful piece of music. RIP Bond.
Hans Zimmer thank you for changing my life to the better with all these great pieces! You are my hero.
His legacy will continue through his beautiful daughter and the one "Bond Girl" he truly loved and that truly loved him. Amazing movie and soundtrack but ultimately hard to watch when you have grown up with the character over so many decades.
Daniel Craig was truly an exceptional Bond. The darker, grittier movies were a treat
What a legend, what an end, Farewell 007
Incredible soundtrack, which lifts the film into the stratosphere, making it the best of the series.
Hans Zimmer Is a genius at bringing out the spirit of human emotion. I am not one to shed a tear but my goodness I struggled to hold it back.
Yeah he’s one of a kind. Kinda makes me wish I had the language to articulate what makes his music so good.
While I don’t, nevertheless it is absolutely brilliant!
@@117Industries let me help you start, the better word to use is nonetheless.
@@xinnocent88x Nevertheless worked quite well thank you.
Your opinion wasn’t asked for you cunt.
Nonetheless, my spirit will soar to the heavens above, in all manner gifted.
Só this is it. Hans Zimmer and I. Yes I’m watching a video of that masterpiece!
I see grandeur!
Hear the best orchestrated modern finale that makes me think of God .
Without this music Bond's death wouldnt have had the same effect. I wept because of this combination. Herr Zimmer is a genius.
You have all the time in the world.....💔the saddest dialogue in all James Bond series
Bond was always true to himself in the mission it’s not a life he wanted it’s a life he was chosen for
I had my doubts when Daniel Craig was cast as Bond. But to my surprise, he did justice to the iconic character. A beautiful end to the franchise. Kudos to Hans Zimmer as well.
I go to the movies not because of the big actors but when I see that Hans Zimmer has created another masterful score.
007 perfection ever
Das Ende einer großen Filmlegende, musikalisch perfekt umgesetzt ........ R.I.P. James Bond 😔
Hans Zimmer pulls it off again. Pure perfection. Just breathtaking and mind blowing ❤
for sure!
Jesus is with me.
in my opinios, best soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.
Hans Zimmer contemporary genus in our days how could you forget about such brilliant, artful talent. His music will
Live in our hearts and souls forever and always‼️
Now I need to see the movie. What a beautiful masterpiece by Zimmer.
A legend had to be matched with a legendary composer.....the music and that last scene of Bond climbing to the top to face the missiles, the look in his face and eyes.....unforgettable. Craig was brilliant. Watching a legend die like that...I cried. Hard.
I cried a lot in the past.
Then, now, we as im,
thinking about recover my pain.
The Best JB, the best JB girl! Good luck to whoever plays JB next cause you have big shoes to fill.
This is Timeless like all his Music ❤️
Ni kweli muziki hauna mipaka.
Hans zimmer is a true legend in everything he does…… ❤& mind bending music that hits you right in the soul ……..
This is one of the legit few times I cried in the cinema. Part of it is because of how much I love bond as a character and franchise and the other point is this soundtrack. So heartbreaking and somehow sadder than we have all the time in the world. Saddest movie soundtrack. Only possibly Beaten by anakins betrayal
dont think the music is original
its been around for 500 years
Agreed 💯
Hans Zimmer The Man The myth The Legend Thank you...
Yet another haunting score orchestrated by a true musical genius. His music will continue to captivate …for generations to come.
yeps what a way to finish, not sure how they will get it going again, love this music
Such a sad ending
Music had me in floods of tears
Best Bond
Best Ever Musician ❤❤❤
No time to die - FUCKEN FEMENISM FILM))) Anti men NOT BOND

Tragic, Sad but Heroic Ending to an iconic character 😢

No time to die - FUCKEN FEMENISM FILM))) Anti men NOT BOND
What a music, what an emotion… respect
This ones done better than the actual movie end at 7:16 Bond nods to God. No extraneous dialogue. He knows he's getting the fireworks.
Hans Zimmer, genius...
Mi preoccupa, affidata sempre a persone molto esoerte❤❤❤
I still get goosebumps listening to this song. The ending made me cry so much. we have all the time in the world
M. Hans Zimmer dans toute sa grandeur!
That had a tiny country cinema in tears
Kudos for Lea; I never hear anyone praise her great work!
I know of Two Artists that will be Genius through music in life, and Hans Zimmer is one of them , 2022 ❤
Going for a Hans Zimmer concert tonight. Hope he performs this.
Did he?
Этот композитор вписал себя в историю музыки. Величайший. Мечтаю попасть на его концерт.
That music reveals all of the emotions. You can recall all of your downtimes, how you've been feeling betrayed, broken by someone you trusted but still loved. Just beautiful.
6:13 onwards - Hans Zimmer has written the score of a heart breaking.
I cried at his last moment. Such is life!😭
I will always be listening to this. Fantastic!
People may have given this movie huge criticism personally I loved it and have watched it many times but one thing surely no one can argue with is that Hans Zimmer and Bond is the most perfect match ever!? ❤
In addition to my previous comment tonight I needed this song. Rest our Queen and may you find your Moment Of Peace, for you will be missed
Mistrzostwo Świata ❤❤❤
Daniel Craig has played Bond at the top of them all.
ONE OF THE BEST 007 MOVIES IF NOT THR BEST
BY JAMES
No time to die - FUCKEN FEMENISM FILM))) Anti men NOT BOND
Best Bond ever never thought I would ever say that after Sean. Best ending ever
Best ending ever? Dumbest ending ever. It wasn't Bond, it was something else.
@@schoolispissAww diddums. Someone can't handle their emotions or lack of.
@@BeBetterTomorrow321 Sure... let's make Bond a soap opera drama.
Apparently, you can't separate emotion from logic and canon... "diddums". The clowns had to add drama and emotions to make it seem meaningful.
incroyable , époustouflant , troublant , acteur hors norme , jouer avec le cœur , musique phénoménale ! BRAVO 'ENCORE' !!!
She does have your eyes....Bond was poisoned, beaten, shot multiple times, bleeding out...and in that moment he was at peace...

so beautiful and yet so sad. Thank you Daniel Craig und Hans Zimmer. My Heros
Best bond for ever Thanks Mr. Craig.❤
La mas realista y humana de toda la saga Bond y Hans Zimmer como siempre el mejor .
One of the best tribute videos for No Time to Die.
Agreed, his music has accompanied and sounded some of the most iconic movies of our generation. Legend. No doubt about it. His contribution is unmatched.
I must add i am a great fan of so much of Mr. Zimmer's music and feel he should have won the oscar for NTTD rather than Dune. I play Inception and Interstellar all the time. The music for The Rock is one of my favourite soundtracks. Very best wishes to everyone.
This tune is just so beautiful, evocative, mesmerising and totally apt.
The 3 best Bond movies.. my opinion
1. No Time To Die
2. Skyfall
3. Casino Royale
Daniel Craig - My favourite Bond of all 5. I believe Lazenby would have made a great Bond too if they had given him the chance to do more
I agree.
I put Casino Royale 1.2 Skyfall 3 No Time to die and 4 Quantum of solace.
No time to die - FUCKEN FEMENISM FILM))) Anti men NOT BOND. CASINO best film
I think casino royal was his best then skyfall
I can’t imagine a more perfect accompaniment.
Niemand hätte es besser geschaft diese 5 Filme in 8 min so genial musikalisch zusammen zu fassen.
Mit allem Respekt!
Einfach nur genial!
