Great info! I just posted my 3rd UA-cam video today of me getting my California Air Pressure Pot and Compressor unboxed and setup. Can’t wait to start casting. Love your videos.
For glitters I like the makeup grade. It is very fine but has the "bling" factor and you don't have to worry about it sinking or pooling anywhere. You didn't mention the type of glitter so I thought I would add that. Great video.
Good video. Ordered my 30 color set of Wine Country powders this past weekend. Looking forward to having the order processed and getting the powders. Have been using the Black Diamond powders but am really looking forward to trying the color shift powders and glitters.
Topic idea - I do a lot of resin coating of signs and dog tag style thin items. The resin run off or run over rolls around the edge and is a pain to clean up. Any suggestions would be awesome.
Hi, great information. I just converted my TCP 2 1/2 gal pot. It holds air wonderfully. I built a rack for it and poured several molds. They came out really nice however they had small streeks. . At first, I thought it was blemished and tried to sand it off. They were very small lines of microbubbles. I might mention I used Art Resin. How do you avoid this from happening? I noticed several comments about Allumilite having the same issue? Thank you, Debbie
Casey I see a lot of Resin Casters use Infra Red thermometers to check resin Temps to avoid color bleed is the thermometer a necessary tool to prevent this on multiple colored pours?
Really looking forward to the stabilizing part and hope you go into dyeing wood a bit. In this video you were talking about dyes and showed a blank with a very vibrant rich red. Which mica and dye combination created that amazing effect ?
Welcome Back!!! You were missed
Thanks Arthur!
Another great video Casey. Take care. Cheers, Huw
Thanks Huw! Hope all is well

Thanks Mark! Will be getting them out to you shortly. I’m excited to see your projects made with them!

Is there a difference between interference powder and regular mica powder? Another great video. I'm looking forward to the next one.
Yes there is. Interference has a base of white and then refracts different shades of the color it’s called. Try some out! They’re awesome
@@CaseyMartin707 Great! Thanks for the info. I'll pick some up.

Red alumilite dye and the Pinot red mica powder from wine Country mica. I’m looking forward to the stabilizing videos too!
Is oil base food coloring the same as oil base dye?
Another great video! Keep them coming. Is there any problems mixing brands of dyes, inks, or mica powders?
There shouldn’t be any issue mixing! As long as it works with the resin, there won’t be an issue
any advice on getting glitter to not sink?
Wait until right before the working time is expired and it starts to set up
Casey, no practice video! Your hands must show something!))
What do you mean?
@@CaseyMartin707 I mean that I and many people like the video where you stabilize the tree, pour the resin. It's like magic for us! :)
Hey Casey! I'm still waiting for reply to my emails about missing order, are you ok?
Hey Yaroslaw, I’m sure you’ve seen my replies already but since it seems like the order is still missing, I went ahead and refunded the order.
Good info, but prefer demonstrations rather than just speaking to the camera.
I have about a 100 videos worth of demonstrations. Do you think I should overlay clips of them, provide links, or what would you recommend?
@@CaseyMartin707 Overlaying clips would work as would links.
Sent you an email about an order two weeks ago. Still haven’t heard back or received any shipping information. Please check your email.
Ellis, what email did it come from? I am usually pretty good about responding to emails but maybe this one fell through the cracks
@@CaseyMartin707 I received your response, thank you!
