- We spent the night in an off grid eco shepherds hut and tiny home! 🏕
For our first unusual hotel episode we travelled up to Northumberland to visit the guys at Westfield House Farm and stay in one of their quirky accommodations named Curlew. 😍

I've been absolutely loving following your first trip. The Shepherds hut is a dream, such a cosy place for you two. I tell you something you can not beat being somewhere cosy with the rain pouring down on the roof outside. What a fab idea from the two of you of staying in quirky, unusual places. You really open people's eyes to an alternative lifestyle and how much fun you can get from it. I look forward to seeing your vlogs they really show you off as a couple perfectly. Ah thanks a lot Graham! Your support hasn't gone unnoticed on Instagram either. Yes, chuffed we've managed to line up enough quirky accommodations for a mini series, and hopefully it's something can carry on/pick back up at any point next year! Haha it was a bit of a long one but the next couple of going to be over 10 mins too. First night in the campervan vlog coming up on Wednesday! Speak then!
Northwoods Tim, I love watching your videos in the morning with my coffee and cereal. We have a friend from Gillingham who moved to the states 12 or so years ago. married and became a citizen a couple years back. I don't know about the beans on eggs, we have them for outdoor barbeques with Bratwurst or Burgers, Keep having fun. Jesus juice?

I love it. Everything is functional. The living room looks warm and cozy. The kitchen is spacious and beautiful. and shower room is great. The bed room is very elegant.

Awesome vid guys , just found you’re channel in the recommended thingy , I’ve been considering buying a Shepard’s Hut for full time living , off grid so to speak! The house prices and rental prices are shocking here in good ol’ Blighty but hey who knows moving abroad is quite tempting as well! Stay safe guys and take care 👍😎

My mums local Sainsbury’s 😊. That hut looks amazing. I wouldn’t want to leave. Those briquettes are great. We’ve used them for a few years now.
Haha quality! Ah it was such a great little stay! Definitely going to give the briquettes a go when we get home!
When it's dropped on the floor, or especially in the fire ashes, just shake it off. The tiny bits that are still stuck on we simply call "Scout Pepper." 8-)

Feels like I keep repeating myself but another brilliant vlog. I think that you have an advantage over city dwellers in that you are used to living in cramped spaces with having the canal boat and campervan. Did look nice and cosy though. Now onto the Glamping vlog.

I love Shepherds Huts! I tried to find the booking for the Shepherd's Hut immediately after you said the name, so I could save it. Hot tubs and bad backs are a match made in Heaven, btw. And are glorious in the rain and especially in the snow. Just saying. Anyway, I thought you said thanks to Westver House and the internet insisted that I must mean WestOver House. Nope, big cottages there but no Shepherd's Huts. I was mentally complaining that there was no link, but saw the extra link about the different abides and hopefully it is in there. I found it, and saved it, at West Field House, so thanks for the tip! I will be going alone when travel from the states opens back up and want to stay there. I also saw that they had one with bunks to sleep four, so will also add it to the grandkids adventures folder though only one left who doesn't have to be in a city to have fun.
Oops, started to ramble. Have to be careful! Am very glad that you two are back out and about doing some travel and different types of places are just my thing. I am unaware of a hotel that I would find enjoyable to stay in after work travel for decades. Thanks!!
