Verb Core is the only Core I didn't get, I have the OLD NuX before the deluxe firmware USB ports. (they changed the knobs! Good!)The Time and Mod core were great without the updates but, the Tape Core is AMAZING! RE201 with almost the same functionality of the Boss version before it even come out in a pedal for Boss
I have an amp academy but I can figure out how to get a nice clean tone. I tried most options that the pedal comes with. Also, as soon as I turn on an overdrive pedal everything sounds too muddy. You should make a video on how to properly set these up.
I really do...I know what you're talking about ...I've struggled with that myself...I need to spend more time with it...it's always hard to invest time with the pull to move onto other things
I love NUX never had one of their pedals that wasn't great, yes for the price, but just great as well. The Zeus is amazing too. Would love to redeem the Zeus name for use worshipping the one and only true God.
Nice build. The B-8 is a great idea. I wish mine worked as advertised. Admittedly, my situation is less than ideal. We have three X-Vive U4 rigs going, and they are 2.4G hogs. My B-8 is not usable, at all.
DON'T BUY THIS. Nux is spraying youtubers/reviewers/people who make money off of the algorithm with free gear for positive reviews on gear that is downright BUGGY and UNFINISHED. The Amp Academy is a headache! It's full of bugs, even on the most updated firmware. You need to heavily work around its issues just to make it work like you want it to work... For example, just try using the AC30 amp. You can't! Other issue, on some combinations of the blocks inside the Amp Academy, the IR is impossible to deactivate on the 1/4" output, the one you should be using to connect to a powered cab or power amp. You need to re arrange the blocks so it is corrected. Also, the Amp Academy doesn't like active pickups, it clips and distorts erratically on clean sounds, with low volume and gain. On some amps, the BIAS control also has problems, if you dial it to around 70~80 it creates this weird digital buzzing sound, but on specific values! If you go above or under that it disappears. The Amp Academy is an all around clusterfuck.

Try updating your AA plus use ownhammer IRs. Works great for me 😊
