Angelina performs this song often in concert appearances.
So we shouldnt tell you that due to the wind, Norweigen Television had her sing this song twice. The first take was bad with the camera sound and wind distortion.
So this we are seeing now is the second time sung as the windy was only bothering her a little bit with her hangy-do's. But she is a professional.

Thanks for the wonderful reaction with this unique singer, 16 years only and at the second performance, a few minutes after the previous one, due to recording problems, live and in front of his Norwegian audience after almost 3 years of interruption of concerts. Angelina is not only a great singer but is becoming known as an excellent songwriter. Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 11 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, and Diamond. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age-appropriate.

I’m not sure this performance is actually a tribute to Whitney. When she recorded the song at 13 it was meant to be a tribute to Whitney. However, when she performed this song summer last year in Norway it was apparently for her biggest inspiration and mentor, her Grandma Mery who was going through health issues at the time and couldn’t make the trip
She's been singing Whitney since she was 18 months old. Video clip out there. Most recently on Arab Man Reacts channel, where he did a touching documentary of AJ. Wrapped in a Warm Blanket also did one "Angelina Jordan the early years". Both have clip spoilers from her performances, but are great.

Nice reaction. This is my favourite of her various renditions of this song: note she had pretty much got off the plane from LA for this concert and must have had a bit of jet-lag, and because of the wind affecting the recording she had to sing it twice in quick succession, this being the second time just a few minutes after the first....
She sang it twice in a row... eoth about a minute breag in between.

Hey guys I don't know how many Angelina songs you have heard but this is simply her homage to Whitney. It is one of her hundreds of voices, listen to her tribute to the King or her nod to Michael or her love of Adelle or her fling with the Beatles and you may get a small idea of her talent and then you can listen to some of her brilliant originals. Nice reaction but as she says in one of her covers you need to get a "little deeper" in to understand the talent.

Yes, it’s great seeing Angelina singing this in her own register. The depth and resonance you heard is the voice Angelina chose for this cover. Your surprise at her ease in covering this means you haven’t listened to enough. Her singing always looks effortless whether she’s giving us power, breathiness, range, or texture. She has incredible vocal tools, but she doesn’t flaunt them because, as you saw here, she always respects the music and the original singer.
A favorite of most Angels that you might not choose is her cover of James Brown’s It’s a Man’s World. It’s Angelina, live at an outdoor concert, with an orchestra behind her. Watch the girl with a thousand voices give us impeccable 60’s soul with her own musicality, effortless power, and range. I believe she’s 12, and she knocks this one way out of the park. Thanks for your reaction! She is only 17 years old today and from Norway. She signed with the label Republic Records just 14 years old, I think we can safely leave the promotion to Republic Record. Marketing will start when her full album is released later this year. There's only one EP with 6 songs she's released from RR now, and they haven't started marketing until the full album is released!. Republic Records know 100% what they are doing? I think a lot of people don't realize how much Angelina has done in her short life (17). She performed FIFA AWARD song, and performed in front of 40 000 people only 11 years old invited by Norah Jones. She was also specially invited by Quincy Jones to perform on his 85th birthday in the O2 arena / London. And so on goes the list... She has over 250 songs on UA-cam with cover songs and many originals. Angelina also plays piano and guitar.
The truth is that within a year or two she will be the artist for the big occasions. and not a "bare belly plastic artist" who tops a list for a week and is forgotten just as quickly. She already eats most female vocalists for breakfast, and the label Republic Records and the rest of the music industry know that too! Angelina Jordan has nothing to prove. When she sometimes belts is it because the fits in the performances. She sings to us only she can do!
Several fans have stated in comments that she is also supposed to perform at the 2026 FIFA Workd Cup which will be held in USA/Canada /Mexico. If anybody has a confirmation of that it would be great to see. If it really is happening the hope is by then the world will know who she is by then.

Thank you guys for your great reaction to our beautiful AJ just 16yrs old, but she's been singing since she came out of the womb, and she is known as the jazz queen since she had mastered jazz by about 7yrs old, but she is so versatile and has sung in so many styles and genre's she can sing anything and adapt her voice as required , she has natural vibrato and can adapt it in many ways even when young you can hear fry plus vibrato , this girl is incredible . For me the greatest storytelling artist with the greatest character and personality voice, she is a kaleidoscope of creativity and musicality , and vocally already a master and just getting better and better, she has dedicated her whole life to sing , the thing she loves with all her heart and soul, we her angels(fans) adore her not just because of her giant talent but also her giant heart she want's to spread kindness and love throughout the world , she is real, sincere, caring full of joy and so loving we have adopted her in our hearts , and are with her every step she takes, the connection she has with us is not like anything most of us have experienced before ,her last concert she was given a standing ovation as soon as she walked out on to the stage that is how much love radiates around her.💗👣

Last month I suggested it would take you three years to catch up with current performances after being away for a couple years (pre Lala). You made a liar of me. This is last summer. Really enjoyed you comments about her style. She just finished high school and released her first EP of originals and it solidifies "the" Angelina style in no uncertain terms. Can't wait to see where she goes from here.
Angelina can change the speed of her vabrato like an organ leslie. Good example in I Put a Spell on You. She's amazing!

The only things which exceed Angelina's musical talents as a vocalist, arranger and songwriter are her humility and empathy.

At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. "Rock everything in that style" does not really capture Angelina's versatility. You and I may understand "style" differently. Her voice is instantly recognizable, often set off by her unique vibrato and tasteful use of vocal fry. Her melismas are enchanting. But, her "style" varies with the song, and different "tools" from her vocal toolbox are on display based on her own choices of how to best present the meaning of the song. Really, if you listen to "My Funny Valentine", Suspicious Minds", I Have Nothing", and "Mount Everest" (and others) from last year, and her EP "Old Enough" from this year (where I would say the first two songs are the same "style" and the last four are, more or less, the same style) you might question your own statement about style. Of course, you and I may just be using the term differently. Still, we can agree that Angelina is an exceptional talent that will, no doubt, continue to draw us into her musical world of love and hope.

Yes, I think you are using the term differently. I would say that each skill she uses, she does it in the way that most suits her voice and musical instincts, and likewise when she designs a voice texture for a song.
And to sing that song LIVE and nailing it like she did is unbelievable. To vittnes Angelinas journey is such a blessing.

🤩😊 Man she's good eh? Yeah lots of skills in that skillset to use that tone of hers in different ways. But I kind of agree she is still sticking to her tone she found mostly. You guys have done a lot of very different stuff now to see her massive skillset, but there is still more. Like her" You Say " cover from late 2021, absolutely unreal voice in that one. The high tones are similar to this one, but the low ones provide an insanely beautiful contrast the way she does them. Thanks for supporting her at this massive time for her, starting her professional career, that's really big ❤ Do some originals as you go too, they are amazing. Hi guys! I always enjoy your Angelina reactions. I think you've identified one of Angelina's strengths as a musician: she has a strong vision for the songs she sings, both covers and originals. As you pointed out, she doesn't ask herself, "How would Whitney do it?" She just sings it, and it comes out the way she wants it, thanks to her incredible technique.
