Vanny DeVito 😂 Brilliant name. Looks as though there’s loads of space for storage there. A double hinged drawer would be cool at the back middle. Look forward to seeing the progress!
I felt so proud of that name when I first thought of it, then I found out there were so many other accounts with the same name on insta 🥲😂. Thank you! Yeah I can't wait to get stuck in 🛠️
Shouldn't that be Merco Poolo? One thing to remember is Mercs don't like murky water, which I unfortunately found to my great cost! And if you do decide to drive through a flood, do it slowly....or preferably turn around and forget it!
Remember if you do drawers instead of cupboards. You'll lose quite a bit of storage. Approx width 55mm. Depth 60mm. Height 40mm Youll find its quite considerable
Ah that's a good point, I never thought about it that way. Maybe on the farthest side of the kitchen where there's more space, I'll install a door instead.
Wow; that’s a great build on the Vito! Few tweaks but nothing major …. What height is the bed and I’d be interested in a link for the aluminium framing pls…👌🚚👌
Thank you! So off the top of my head I think it was 40cm high, but I'm going to be lowering that in the rebuild. I'm not sure to what height just yet, I think it will be sat just above the wheel arches. Here's a link to the aluminium framing: www.ebay.co.uk/usr/aluminium-profile-uk
Has to be recharged by solar, or you can bring it into your house and charge through the mains. I have seen EcoFlow have a new accessory that allows you to charge through a vehicle alternator, but I think it's only available in the US at the moment.
Awesome! So I never actually got around to making the bed in my original build, that's one of the main reasons I went ahead with the rebuild. Hoping to have the bed designed soon 🤞🏻

This makes me want to build a van! So keen to see what you do with ol’ Vanny 😂
Haha thank you! Hopefully I can provide some decent tips along the way 😅
Looking forward to watching the rebuild progress👍
Thank you! I'm working on the van today actually, so I'll hopefully have a new video out either this week or next 😊
Love this, we're about to start out first conversion attempt, interesting points and natural presenter mate.
Aw thank you so much! Really appreciate that 😊 Good luck on your conversation journey! What van are you converting?
@chrisjwright_ hey man sorry just saw your reply. A Toyota Proace 2017 lwb. If you're ever up in Scotland way give us a shout !
Oh nice! Really smart looking vans those. Will do! We are hoping to get up that way at some point once it's all back together

Ah no way! Not good 😅 I'll make sure not to travel through any water!

Excellent - Thanks👌🏻
No problem 😊
Hey Chris, so with the ecoflow do you need to charge that via solar? Or does your engine charge it?

Im rebuilding same van with a very similar design. Bed size please?
