We found a skull that showed blunt force trauma to the side of the head. This person didn't die from exposure, they died from a rock to the side of their head.

I don't understand how there can only be just a skull, yet the rest of the skeleton is totally missing. Even when it died and the desert animals, or the vultures came and ate off the remains (which usually happens), it be logical that at least some other skeletal remains be there, but just the skull, and broken? I agree with Tim when he said that it looks basically foul play, because like I said, if it been a death from just exposure, some other skeletal remains should of still been there (even if the vultures or other wildlife ate off the remains). Animal like a coyote might carry it. Even five or ten feet and you probably wouldn't even notice the other bones especially if they've been scattered. Bones don't stand out against the desert floor like you might think. Given the location it is probably a five foot eight coyote with almost no fur that carried it there and away from the body though.
@@gibby5335 Exactly, they probably beheaded the victim got rid of the body and kept the head so they could use it to scare others and use it as a warning to stay away from their preserved water / food supply stops, also a lot of people are saying the skull is fake because it would have to be there a long time to look like that, well the cartel know how to liquified their victims and they probably did it to this head or even if the head was just placed like that on the ground the insects would have done the same job in the matter of seconds due the the smell, blood etc, but who knows, this guy walking around in demon territory usually alone with just his dog if he’s smart he would stay away and never step foot anywhere near there again before his head becomes another sign of warning!!
