- When you think of Hakodate what images come up?
Last May I went on a trip to Hokkaido's third biggest city, Hakodate. Hakodate has been a popular tourist destination especially in the winter. This video, I explored the city in Mid-spring where I can still see some Sakura flowers in bloom.
Hakodate is a city famous for their fresh seafood, red brick warehouses, goryokaku park, the restaurant chain Lucky Pierrot, and many more!
Hope you enjoyed the city as much as I do!

GLAY 😂
They're one of my favorite Japanese band, and the personnels are from this city. They're known to be proud promoters of their birth city, especially the vocalist. As an older band who has been around for a long time, they're pretty good. Much beloved by Japanese on their heyday, they still hold LIVES on big venues like Tokyo DOME, is still holding regular arena tours nationwide, and is known for their special exhibition called GLAY EXPO (the last one is held at Tohoku tsunami disaster area to help the local community, back in 2014).
Nice video 💚💚💚

Great video!! Curious what music did you use? It’s so soothing
I am here because of "Before your memory fades".
Thanks for the video. Do you think the fort is worth visiting for a 2 day trip during summer? I’m thinking of skipping it.
I think it would be a really nice spot to visit if you are a big fan of gardens. But if you are not, I suggest going up Mount Hakodate with the cable car. We didn’t get to go up on our trip but I heard that it is very nice!
Thank you for showing us a video of a nice place without any intrusive narcissistic UA-camr faces hogging the camera and annoying narration. This is how a tourism/travel video should look. Thumbs up!
When was this filmed?
In May 2023! Hope that helps✨
@@mielcitron1hi what date in May exactly?
