imagine if everyone runs when the first person gets killed so the games end after the first game which wouldn't be that fair as non of the players knew at this point that being eliminated means being killed so player 1's logic in season 1 is very flawed
That was a bit of my Problem with the premise: They pretend that it is the players free choice to stay and play or leave and that they joined without anyone forcing them - which is true BUT in the beginning no one knew what exactly they signed up for and that they would potentially get killed. And the first vote might be democratic, but a slight majority can still force the slight minority to risk their lifes. So those people still don't risk it out of free will. It got a lot better after they all returned voluntarily, because those who returned now knew what they signed up for - including the fact that they couldn't leave unless the majority says so. I kinda wished the writers would have found a plausible way for them to risk their lives voluntarily from the beginning, it would have made the concept and the moral (greed literally beating the will to live here) that much stronger imo
@@MistaM1ndthe reason they didn’t was to emphasize that the players (the people) aren’t the problem, the problem lies with those who force the players to compete with their lives for money. A reflection of society.
@@MistaM1nd yes you are right and I kinda agree. But I guess the writers makes sense of it with the first wave is kinda just an necessary evil, or a sacrifice for their future point of greed and blindness. In their eyes to make the statement of the seriousness of the situation to the players so they will truly feel horror and desperation. I guess it has to start somewhere and that would be really difficult to have the same rules from the getgo and not be hypocritical. If they could, I guess they wouldn't have made as good of a "product" as they could with this strategy.
1. it minimises the risk of getting pushed by another player. 2. it minimises the risk of tripping over a dead body (and if people die and fall further ahead, you have time to see them and be ready to jump over them). 3. if the initial scare happens and everyone starts running back, you minimise the amount of people that can bump into you and possibly take you down with them. however, it does come with some risks: 1. it’s really hard to space out from other players in the first place because this is the first game, meaning there are 455 other players, the sheer amount of people in such a limited space means there most likely won’t even be a clear area until after the initial scare or even 2-4 minutes into the game. 2. if you move, you’re more likely to be caught and shot than other players in crowds because you’re out in the open, meaning your movements are easier to detect. 3. there’s nobody around you to use as a meat shield, meaning you can’t even risk the slightest movement.
To be honest they won't get me in red light green light because I can speed walk pretty well the only way for me to lose that game if they had me wear sandals but haven't seen anyone with sandals
@@theonetruefusion8533 Well it’s red light green light because when the game starts it literally says green light to start the game and if I know there’s money on the line I’ll be far from everyone else or be behind everyone

They can always bring in more players if that happens. I doubt the VIPs mind them starting over
@@MistaM1ndthe premise includes them being unfair. They know that they deceived the players, they just don’t own up to it.

If I had to play it, I would be sure to put as much space between me and other players as possible.

You get pushed
Or you panic
Or make a mistake
You without the knowledge of the game has less chance than you think
If someone pushes you then you are out of luck.
