The film, by film-maker Johnny Kelly, depicts the life of a farmer as he slowly turns his family farm into an industrial animal factory before seeing the errors of his ways and opting for a more sustainable future. Both the film and the soundtrack were commissioned by Chipotle to emphasize the importance of developing a sustainable food system.
Currently watching this for an English class & I love it!
My favorite English teacher from high school had us watch this video in 2012/2013 and write our interpretation of the meaning. Life was so much simpler in those days…..

Right? My favorite part is when it forgets to mention that chipotle is owned by Mcdonalds who doesnt give a shit about how fresh or clean or natural their food is. Honestly great commercial. Just gets the point across that they care.

I remembered seeing this ad at my local Las Vegas movie theater. It was quite enjoyable to watch before the film trailers started.

I know it gets a bad rap, but I would like to remind people not every factory farm, hell, not every farm are these max security prison hells where they only fed a diet consisting of medication and chemicals and are butchered while they're still alive. It all depends on which farm it is and who's running it.
And I know there will be people who say I am heartless for saying but, it's basically impossible to stop factory farming now. But what we can do is make sure where we get meat, eggs, and milk is from a place that treats and raises its animals right and is humane when it comes to processing them.

My uncle owns a chicken farm that sells to chipotle and the restaurants that claim no antibiotic drugs. However I know for a fact that the chickens are not free range. They are contained with so many that they step over one another. They live in their own feces on the ground and the fences don’t get picked up for half a year or so. There are many chickens that die everyday and they are in the coupe along with the live chickens until they’re picked up and thrown away. They are fed water with bleach to clean their intestines. They are fed whatever the farm corp deliver to the farm. They are expected to eat and sleep for 7 weeks straight at a certain time and interval for optimal growth. My uncle is told that it’s ground up corn and veggies and things like that but seriously it smells so bad. So be more discerning about what you see.
I guess its more of an ideal, but I'm still glade they buy from your uncle and not a big corporation. Little steps? But thank you, it's good to remember there's levels to everything.

The video doesn't even suggest going vegan wtf? Also if everyone went vegan we would just have to plant a shitload of vegetables and there for use a bunch of fields and area. If we take the habitats of the wild animals they will die from either starvation or they will be killed by other animals. Also most plant eating mamals are in a way "ment" to be eaten in the sence that it's in their nature to reproduce enough to make the species survive. Also it's simple nature to eat meat and a great food supply. That's why half of the fucking foodchain is eating it.
If animals didn't want to eat us then why did they evolve to be so tasty?
