A closer comparison would be WoWo's Detail Spray, though that has limited durability as well, and won't compare to the Tac System's products in the durability arena; WoWo's Crystal Sealant would be Tac's equivalent, and Levi had some interesting experiences he shared when he was testing the product (Sorry mo spoiler, you'll have to watch it). Do you use them or can you let them cure on there own. I asked that because I don't see the lamps in your videos. I love your videos they are very educational. Thanks again for your time.
The lamps are not required. If you do not have lamps, you follow the normal curing times before water exposure to the surface or before applying a secondary coat. That is all. No lamps, no problem. Just keep temps at 55-75°f while applying and for at least 1 hour after. Dry for 24 hrs, no washing for 5-7 days.

Great stuff as always Brian. TAC system appears to be the real deal. One Step Master is a bit confusing as a one step, unless it has some paint correction properties? I remember that Graphine had paint filling properties and high gloss. The new turtle wax Ceramic Wax does offer some paint correction with a bit of Si02. (no way near 25%) Where on the scale would you compare these? At the end of the day it still appears to be a 3 step process. A) Paint Correct, B) Coat, C) Top...IMO if your watching this type of media than you love your cars/motorcycles and you will be cleaning and topping often enough to not really bet to concerned about longevity. Hey Bryan @Apex Detail I have a new GMC Sierra that I daily drive, it is “iridium metallic” (charcoal grey) in color, and I have recently coated it with CarPro cQuartz UK 3.0, I need a good topper since it is a daily driver.I will start off by saying I clean my truck religiously once a week when possible, no less than twice a month (weather permitting). So the frequency of application isn’t an important factor to me. I’m really looking for extra gloss and slickness. Would you recommend the 1 step master or moonlight for me? Or maybe you know of something even better than those. Would love to hear your input Bryan.
Can it go on trim like moonlight? Gotta love moonlight you can get it everywhere and not only will it not be a problem but will look better and be protected
Another awesome video!!! So 2 quick questions, how would you compare this to Tac system shiny wax..@ will Tac system shiny wax removing existing coating like Turtle Wax Ceramic spray coating when used as a Topper?
nice Vette. I think once M27 hits my front door it will be my final sealant. I still keep finding my way back to Ultimate Liquid Wax. One of the hardest part for me to do a coating is I got to do everything out doors. Plus, I do plan on getting my truck repainted a pitch black vs the current brilliant black. Anyways love seeing you display your rides and have a happy new year.
Brian, I know your a busy person but really need your feedback is this stuff safe to use with SB3 Alpha ceramic cost, Just wanted to know before I purchase it?
Hi Brian I had my car professionally done with SB3 5 year Alpha Ceramic coat will this be safe to use as a topper, I don’t want to ruin the SB3 Alpha 5 year ceramic coat ? Thx in advance for any information I know your a busy person just wanted to know before I try to buy some.
This has many similar properties to moonlight, durability, shine. I'm confused would i use moonlight as my base sealant, then top this on after a few months? or could i just top off with another coating of moonlight since i still have the open bottle left over? So many wonderful products but it can get overwhelming and confusing. It's hard not to "buy all the products" like you say not to do :)
Thanks Brian. Looks great. Planning to use this as a topper for a coating. Since this is a ~6 month product, is there something else you would recommend as a post wash gloss enhancer on top of it or just don’t bother?
Moonlight is oil based and slower to work with (strong chemical smell, as well). One Step Master is a non-hardening silica paste. The end result will be the same. I have used both and like both.
@@keithfeldhaus Moonlight works amazing on plastic trim, engine bay protection and even on tires. If I had to choose one during a paid detail, it would be one step master… Especially under time constraints. It’s much easier to work with. Moonlight is fun, because you can apply it like a true ceramic coating using a block and suede applicator. It will flash and rainbow like higher-end coatings during application. I think it works better on windows, as well.
I'm intrigued by the product, but that's how the application of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze was supposed to work too. I used it once and had such a difficult time removing it that I trashed the rest of the bottle. I've been afraid of sealants ever since.
I know it’s a long (and expensive) shot, but I’d like to see Kamikaze Zipang Coat tested. It appears that Esoteric is the only distributor in the United States, and claims its a prosumer product, that anyone can order. There are a lot more distributors in the UK, but I can’t find one UK distributor to sell it as prosumer, even though they’re $100 cheaper than Esoteric. So, I’m guessing that there is a huge margin on it. Apparently, it’s self healing.
I am not sure if they changed the product since you reviewed this but my experience was very bad. I just purchased this and the bottle says 1-step master contains 20-25% SiO2 upgraded version. I have NEVER had a product this difficult to remove. It dries almost instantly while you are still applying to even a small section. It took a lot for me to get this off with a microfiber cloth even in as little as 20 seconds. I feel I just wasted my money.
Hi Brian, would you use this as a topper on a coating from outside of the TAC system? Wishing you, your family, this channel and your loyal followers all the best in 2020!
Hi Brian, Can you recommend a pair of gloves that are waterproof and do a good job of keeping your hands warm during winter washes. Thank you. Happy New Year!
I dont plan on doing a ceramic coating for a while. Can I use this on top of fusso to get the gloss? I am waiting for graphene to become more available instead of ceramic coating

Can't you make an episode with anti-static QD and/or coatings. My Corvette tend to collect a lot more dust from the road than my other cars and I wonder if the anti-static deal is for me. Happy New year from Sweden.
What type of towels do you recommend when buffing off a sealant? I've been using those cheap ones you get from local auto stores that come in a pack. They're thin and I'm not sure they're the right ones to use. Also are all applicator pads equal? (I doubt it)
SpiritZer00 not sure they're terry towels. They say microfiber, but they're thin to me. I also don't think they're good for paint. I need a towel to buff off/level spray on products like seal and shine or bead maker.
I plan on using Moonlight as a base.Which would be better as a topper,1 Step Master or just more Moonlight since they are both 25% Si02,or perhaps Shinee Wax.Looking for the most shine. With so many products out there(and more coming)it gets confusing to an old man.
Apply moonlight twice a year for overlapping protection and in between that, give a layer of this and you'll be in great shape. Shinee Wax would be used only if you were going to a show and needed a quick, short top up.
Bryan where can I find/buy the TAC System? I can usually find anything on Amazon but it’s not available there or anywhere on the internet I can find. Bill
I don't understand is this a better more durable product than moonlighting or should this be a base layer and topped with moonlighting. I don't know what to go for to make a white car pop.
I have a 2019 AMG GT C roadster in brilliant blue metallic..... I have it perfectly detailed always and I’ve used title wax ice seal n shine, turtle wax spray wax, hybrid solutions ceramic spray and hybrid solutions 3 in 1... I do mostly waterless washes and spray it down daily.... it’s glowing and nice but when I see products like this TAC master, I feel I want even more gloss and slickness.... is this a product I can use over what I’ve described above or would I have to strip it bare before using something like this? I don’t think I want to do a true ceramic coat because that seems to me for people who don’t maintain their cars daily... and I LIKE to maintain it daily... am I thinking correctly?
Good lawd, daily? How do you not screw up and scratch it? I over loved my Ceramic coated f150. I was using ONR as a quick detailer to keep dust off and I swirled it pretty bad. I waited until coating was a year old then used the TW hybrid solutions polish to remove the swirls and TLC 2. Holy cow it shines like a diamond in a goats ass. I have swore I will not use ONR as a detailer again. I trust it as waterless, but I don't have to worry about water so I just wash it 2 bucket every couple weeks.
Well, when I say maintain daily, I just mean that I wipe it down from dust etc.... I’ve fully paint corrected it; there isn’t a single scratch or swirl or marring anywhere. I’m a bit of a fanatic and like it perfect before and after every drive. I’m still hoping to hear from Brian about whether I can use this product over the hybrid solutions I have on the car now or if there’s just no need.
Hi can you give me an advice on what products that I can use to make my car shine like that? Products that are easy to use and not hard on the budget. I have a white and gray car, I want to get my car as shiny and as protected as yours, please. Thank you in advance

Great review Brian an your c7 looms awesome just got done with mine
Can it go on trim like moonlight? Gotta love moonlight you can get it everywhere and not only will it not be a problem but will look better and be protected
Another awesome video!!! So 2 quick questions, how would you compare this to Tac system shiny wax..@ will Tac system shiny wax removing existing coating like Turtle Wax Ceramic spray coating when used as a Topper?
Shinee Wax could be used as a topper to this if used as a stand alone.
Thank you for your very informative videos Brian! I assume this would work well as a topper to Jade coatings like quartz?
This stuff is amazing love your channel very detailed videos glad I came across it
Brian how many panels can I do before need to wipe off and buff?
Excellent product review
Brian, I know your a busy person but really need your feedback is this stuff safe to use with SB3 Alpha ceramic cost, Just wanted to know before I purchase it?
Hi Brian I had my car professionally done with SB3 5 year Alpha Ceramic coat will this be safe to use as a topper, I don’t want to ruin the SB3 Alpha 5 year ceramic coat ? Thx in advance for any information I know your a busy person just wanted to know before I try to buy some.
Curious, how would u rate this against tac SYSTEMs shiney wax in terms of gloss??
I have both on order, and am eager to find out, first-hand, the answer to your question. ;)
Brian, does the towels and applicators harden???
Thanks Brian. Looks great. Planning to use this as a topper for a coating. Since this is a ~6 month product, is there something else you would recommend as a post wash gloss enhancer on top of it or just don’t bother?
I would stop at this step right here.
Brian will the Tac systems one step master go on headlights?
Can I use after Wolfgang sealant ,spray wax from
Turtle wax the wax it wet .. or the Wolfgang is just enough ?
Brian,
Have you done a video on the tire products you are using on your cars? Or what you can recommend?
so whats the difference between this and the moonlight? Is one better than dthe other?
Moonlight is oil based and slower to work with (strong chemical smell, as well). One Step Master is a non-hardening silica paste. The end result will be the same. I have used both and like both.
@@craig.encinitas so when would you choose to use one over the other, and why?
Thanks
@@keithfeldhaus Moonlight works amazing on plastic trim, engine bay protection and even on tires. If I had to choose one during a paid detail, it would be one step master… Especially under time constraints. It’s much easier to work with.
Moonlight is fun, because you can apply it like a true ceramic coating using a block and suede applicator. It will flash and rainbow like higher-end coatings during application. I think it works better on windows, as well.
Hi may I know what’s the gloss meter unit before applied the Tacsystem?
I'm intrigued by the product, but that's how the application of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze was supposed to work too. I used it once and had such a difficult time removing it that I trashed the rest of the bottle. I've been afraid of sealants ever since.
Can you apply it as a topper to TacSystem Moonlight?
Yes.
Looks great!!! Can this be applied to black trims or it will leave white stains???
Apply correctly and you won't have any problems.
TAC System USA but if it touches trim will it stain??
What dressing did you use on your tires?
Would this be a good topper for Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic?
Hi Brian, would you use this as a topper on a coating from outside of the TAC system? Wishing you, your family, this channel and your loyal followers all the best in 2020!
Yes. Happy New Year!
Hi Brian,
Can you recommend a pair of gloves that are waterproof and do a good job of keeping your hands warm during winter washes.
Thank you.
Happy New Year!
I just use XL nitril gloves over my regular gloves.🙂
Brian that is simply incredible!😊😊😊😊
I dont plan on doing a ceramic coating for a while. Can I use this on top of fusso to get the gloss?
I am waiting for graphene to become more available instead of ceramic coating
Yes...You can use it as a stand alone.
TAC systems is killing it! Could this take the place of my beloved moonlight as a topper!😳 I definitely will be getting it along with total one essential. Mason be ready for my order, also Mason provides top notch customer service.
Patiently waiting 👍
With this video being almost a yr old now, what would you say the best tac system ceramic coating is? Still climax as in this clip?
Do the "wipe off" towels need to be relegated to non-paint duty after the final wipe akin to Moonlight ? My order is on "backorder" status now. :)
It would be best...yes.
More already on the way.
What’s the shelf life of 1 step master? Thanks
MY-My ! The Gloss Machine~!!!!!! Car came out Great.... as Expected in the hands of the Master Himself !!! [ up here in Canada, i can get Tac System from Carzilla.ca in Calgary Alberta]
And on sale this week.👍
Brian another great video. You and your family hav a Happy New Year.👍😎😎😎🔔🔔🔔
Happy New Year!
You show using it in the hidden zones like the door jambs and similar with trunk. For these areas how often between applications is realistic?
Once a year is fine.
Can't you make an episode with anti-static QD and/or coatings.
My Corvette tend to collect a lot more dust from the road than my other cars and I wonder if the anti-static deal is for me.
Happy New year from Sweden.
Car looks great. Difference between this and moonlight?
Different application method.
Doesn't get as hard, like moonlight, so it gives you a peek at how to apply moonlight in a sense.
TAC System USA after application of 1-step, how long to wait before applying quartz max?
@@c6z061 30-45 min is sufficient.
Hey brian have you tried out Griot's Garage Best of Show Detailer? If so what do you think of it
What type of towels do you recommend when buffing off a sealant? I've been using those cheap ones you get from local auto stores that come in a pack. They're thin and I'm not sure they're the right ones to use.
Also are all applicator pads equal? (I doubt it)
SpiritZer00 not sure they're terry towels. They say microfiber, but they're thin to me. I also don't think they're good for paint. I need a towel to buff off/level spray on products like seal and shine or bead maker.
It also fill imperfections very good :)
I plan on using Moonlight as a base.Which would be better as a topper,1 Step Master or just more Moonlight since they are both 25% Si02,or perhaps Shinee Wax.Looking for the most shine. With so many products out there(and more coming)it gets confusing to an old man.
If your paint is in good condition they all work great.
Apply moonlight twice a year for overlapping protection and in between that, give a layer of this and you'll be in great shape. Shinee Wax would be used only if you were going to a show and needed a quick, short top up.
@@tacsystemusa1702 Awesome info,thanks.
Hi can this be applied as a topper to moonlight?
Bryan where can I find/buy the TAC System? I can usually find anything on Amazon but it’s not available there or anywhere on the internet I can find.
Bill
carzilla.ca
I don't understand is this a better more durable product than moonlighting or should this be a base layer and topped with moonlighting. I don't know what to go for to make a white car pop.
I'm going with Moonlight topped with Quartz Max. But, you can also use One Step Master, topped with Quartz Max. They should all play well together.
Absolutely Stunning!!
Can I use this on any brand of coatings? Also would beadmaker work as a topper? Just trying to use what I have....
Bead Maker works...use it up.
Apex Detail ok thanks. But does that sealant work with any coatings?
Do i Consider it as a Paint Sealant???
Damn! Looks like a winner to me. Thanks, B!
I have the Opti Coat Pro ceramic coating, would this product be a good topper?
Absolutely.
Hi can you give me an advice on what products that I can use to make my car shine like that? Products that are easy to use and not hard on the budget. I have a white and gray car, I want to get my car as shiny and as protected as yours, please. Thank you in advance
His gloss came from $400 worth of product and about $1000 worth labor behind it. People would pay double for results like that. Just look at all the gobsmacked comments :)
On a serious note, subscribe to Brian's channel. He covers products for all budgets and experience. Best detail channel out there. He doesn't push one product over another. Everything gets fair reviews. You can decide for yourself with confidence and his advice.
I have the whole process in a play list. for you....ua-cam.com/video/BTW5gI2B8to/v-deo.html
Anything on our website. www.tacsystemusa.com
FYI Cerma oil additive has the best gas additive on this Planet ! No Soot in tail pipes !!! I use all there Products !!!
Never heard of this brand might have to try it
What’s the difference betjene Moonlight and 1 step master??
😯Like a lake😎
Another great video! Thanks....
Can u please do a durability test on this product
What is wrong with modesta ceramic coatings Brian not on your top choices? Thanks
They are OK. Not in my top 3 however. Nothing wrong with them.
