For those of you asking about batteries, CT lasers come with free lifetime battery replacements after you successfully register your product with CT (as clearly stated in the owner/user manual).
That'd be nice, but as I received no manual for it, I hoped the company was smart enough to put decent videos out, but...Oregon. Too busy with your BLM and DEI BS to do your actual jobs.
Hi I have the same laser. I been having some trouble with removing the top because I was told you need a small L key. None fit them. Can you tell me which type of Hex Driver is that the size and all please.
It would be nice if the video included where the master on/off switch is. The box indicates there’s one, however, nothing is mentioned in the manual or on this video. Please pay attention to detail and provide complete instructions on your video and manuals! The installation part is obvious, what isn’t obvious is where the damn master switch is.
Are the threads plastic? I'm afraid to over tighten and strip the threads. But I can't get zero'ed because it moves around when I get a firm grip on the firearm
_It was somewhat difficult to get it on my S&W SD40VE. The trigger guard is slightly cornered and the laser shape is rounded. Tab won't snap in either_
Do you have a diagram for the Crimson Trace Laserguard that comes with the S&W M&P Shield that shows which screw is for elevation adjustment, and which is for windage adjustment? I have searched everywhere and can't find this.
@@deepeastbrando5935 It still fits, I bought a holster from a major holster website that gives you the option to select if your pistol has a holster or not. It's been 3+ years so I can't really remember what that website is at this point lol
crimson trace told me this LG-422 will fit my new sig 365 xc but I cant for the life on me, get it on. Help? Did CT customer service give me wrong info? not sure th amazon seller will take it back.
www.crimsontrace.com we do not have a Laserguard for the CZ .380 ACP, but if it is equipped with an accessory rail, one of our universal lasers would work!
Honestly, the comments in this video have scared me away from buying one of these. Out of all the comments here, literally one person got and answer from CT. I'll go with Truglo I guess.
3 screws are provided. Two are shorter than the third screw. This video and the instruction sheet do NOT show where the short and long screws go. Visually, it is not apparent where the longer screw goes.
Have one for a springfield xd. Red laser, just FYI I'll be nice an start with positives. It comes with a decently made IWB soft holster for edc. Don't depended on it staying exactly where you want, but in a close area. The batteries that come with are decent and should last the lifetime of your desire to use this product. And lastly, it keeps a nice flow and shape of the original fire arm, and may even make it look "cooler". Now... the real shit... I spent over $120 for mine, it didn't come with enough screws. When I tried contacting their customer support (various times), I got no response what so ever. "2 years later, still no calls or replies after dozens of attempts" It has a extremely odd size of hex, or torx bit size that I have not been able to find since I misplaced their indescribably small Allen's key tool they "so kindly" packed away, while forgetting my hardware.... So long story, short sorry... Don't bother. The best thing you will get from this is the $15 holster.
You CTC brainiacs might want to tell people how to remove the laserguard, or at least half of it, in order to replace the battery. Free batteries for life don't do you much good if you damage the unit trying to replace the battery. Sheeeeez!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this a serious question? 😂 I’d suggest reading the manual but incase you lost it... Step 1) Unscrew the screws holding it together and pull it apart. Step 2) There is no step 2.

What size is the hex screw driver?
Awesome sight. easy install, watch video, that's how it works. Now a new holster.

What battery is that

I feel the same way! I just got mine and it did not work. I know the battery is not the issue.
Will the LG-416 & LG-416G fit the Ruger Max-9?
Are the threads plastic? I'm afraid to over tighten and strip the threads. But I can't get zero'ed because it moves around when I get a firm grip on the firearm
It came installed s&m 40 shield sometimes it works but 1/2 time it doesn’t any ideas ? Thank you
Mine won't even come on.
What holster is compatible with the crimson trace laser??
H 1.3
_It was somewhat difficult to get it on my S&W SD40VE. The trigger guard is slightly cornered and the laser shape is rounded. Tab won't snap in either_
Will it fit on a Taurus G3c?
Sooo what happens when the screw strips? Because 2 of the 3 are

Let me look at mine .
It is the one right on top of the angled one.
I consider CT green laser guard vastly superior of ANY laser targeting system. It is my #1 choice.
Got it for my PPS M2. No way in hell I was going to pay $300 for a change in laser color so I just got the red one.
Does the laser make it unable to fit in a holster or does it still fit ?

Do you guys make a “green” laser guard for the Gen 3 Glock 27?
crimson trace told me this LG-422 will fit my new sig 365 xc but I cant for the life on me, get it on. Help? Did CT customer service give me wrong info? not sure th amazon seller will take it back.
does anybody know what battery that is? I need to replace mine, but I cannot find the specs.
What website can I get one, and does it fit a CZ .380 ACP?

Should we use loctite?
Don't use standard red, blue, or green loctite on polymers. Any threadlocker should specifically be made for plastics.
this laser fit p227????

Where dl I buy one
installing a LG-452 on a full size Gen 1 Glock 31 is a PITA, it looks like it will never fit
how can i buy replacement batterys?
The crimson trace has a lifetime replacement plan, they'll send you a new one once a year if you sign up

Where does each of the 3 screws go since it isn't explicitly stated in the instructions?
Yes, very helpful. Thanks. Going to shoot my Smith M&P Sheild 40 cal tomorrow. I just got it.
Thankyou! I guess mine CT is slightly different but still comes apart the same. Very pleased with the equipment.
Have one for a springfield xd.

What would you suggest for an m&p shield. I’m looking for a good laser but don’t want to waste 120 on garbage
I just got mine, and it did not work. I am so disappointed.
Just put mine on and no joy

$174 on amazon..........😬
220 buck gone
The battery life on these is absolutely embarrassing. TWO HOURS for the green laser?? 😂😂
I can’t even put my Allen wrench in what is the matter with you guys selling this to people
Did you find a solution? What did you use
Oof boy!
