I mean, of course I can search them myself and see what they do, but it would me more practical if it was in the video. To add on to starlight - some portal/lag machine based farms could break, if that does happen and you want to optimise the lighting engine to some degree just use phosphor (for most ppl this wouldnt be a problem, just for advanced farms that rely on said method)

I like the video, however at 2:04 there's a mod that stops your hands from moving when walking, but this is already a vanilla feature called "view bobbing"

why is everyone so obsessed about Xaero's Minimap??? I never saw a modpack that has something different than ftb chunks(it has chunk loader so its ok :) ) and Xaero's Minimap
I keep getting a crash where it says "The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError" with a lot of these mods installed. Any idea how to fix it? I have all the dependencies I need and all of the mods I downloaded are up to date. I even tried allocating more memory and that did not work.
The only thing I find to be a shake is that CIT Resewn (or even Continuity, another good connected textures mod), don’t work with random mod models. I have a (albeit very old at this point) texture pack that uses random models from Optifine to change some mobs to use different models based on certain criteria. Since it’s a mob vote one, it is as follows: some cows in a flower forest will look like Moobloom, vindicators in an ice biome may look like iceologers, stuff like that basically. Unfortunately, I haven’t ever found a good alternative to Optifine that allows for these to work… much sad
Are you sure CIT Resewn is the right mod? It's normally for items. Have you had any luck with Custom Entity Models (CEM)? If you're using Fabric, there's a version of CEM available, but the only thing that remotely works on Forge right now is Entity Texture Features, and I've only found a couple of texturepacks that work with it (Tissou's Zombies and ETF Example Pack).
@@AddledMongoose I believe I did try CEM (I just couldn’t remember what it was called) and it sadly didn’t work… the textures got all broken and whatnot. I think part of the issue is that the texture pack works with a randomizer, so some mods use the mob vote textures while others look normal… I feel like that aspect of the texture pack is why it is breaking, and unfortunately it appears that Fabric alternatives to Optifine don’t seem to work… though I suppose I could try again since it’s been a while…
@@Fowze. that's not how it works. Client side mod by definition is mod that works only for client. And lithium and phosphor are server side so that mean in order to work they only need to be on server (yes they work on single player but then you need them on client). Lithium optimizes thing like ai etc. while phosphor reworks lightning engine and that's why they aren't client side

Lithium and phosphor aren't client side mods. If you are playing on server with friends you should have these mods installed over there too
