Great review. I had a 2017 Base Macan as a daily but decided to trade it in to a Porsche certified 2015 Macan Turbo. The extra horsepower really make a huge difference for aggressive driving.
I love this channel. The videos, while very long, are definitely worth watching. Very detailed and very comprehensive. I also don't know why, but then I find the way Thomas speaks very entertaining (I mean that in the best way possible). Keep it up guys!!!

Great video, excellent editing, good camera work. Beautiful country - kaunis maa. I find the overhead light shade a beautiful design. Well integrated infotainment display. Interior too gloomy and dark for me. Not the most comfortable compact SUV, and lack of room in the rear - but one of the sportiest; very very expensive. Good winter tyres! Many thanks Thomas & crew.

Something for you guys to consider is put GoPro cameras on the rear bumper so people can see/hear the exhausts of the cars you're reviewing.

Nice scenery and fantastic Macan there Thomas.
Exterior is a lot better than Cayenne but the cabin and it's button-fest control lay-out is just so atrocious/cheap for such a high end SUV ( makes the Macan-inspired Kia Sportage's lay-out presentation a lot more cohesive and luxurious even ).
Thank goodness the new Panamera's interior is a vast improvement and for sure it's look will carry over to next Cayenne, Macan.
Looks quite competent enough in snow.

I know where you are heading to ... but i didnt experience anything bad myself yet in that respect. However I often experienced squeeking ceramic brakes as basically you only need them on the racetrack ...

Autogefühl Well they use nearly all of a reindeer for something, and they taste delicious. Also I think that it is better to let animals live a normal life, rather than being grown in huge meatgrowing-plants
Of course it is more eco-friendly to drive a bicycle, but there can be no comparison between co2 boost and killing mammals. If you still want to do it, yeah, 40 % of the emission comes from factory farming and 15 % from traffic.
it's better to not breed animals at all and leave them alone. Surely Germany has one of the most pervert ways to treat them in those huge factories

It's curious, do you avoid animal products in diet, other fields as well, or just dislike leather seating? Some beautiful shots BTW.
Thank you for taking interest in this very important topic!
First to the practical reasons:
1. animal skin seats get hot in summer and you stick to the seat
2. they are cold in winter
3. on cloth or microfibre, you basically don’t need seat heating nor cooling
4. animal skin seats wear out very fast and look like granny’s old sofa
5. if you want leather look, the leatherette (faux leather) surfaces are meanwhile highly evolved and it is possible that it feels even softer and better than anything else (See our Tesla Model X review) So Tesla shows that the discussion wether you need animal skin is basically done.
Still, now to the environmental reasons:
1. There are many productions where the cow is killed for the skin first, sometimes even alive, the skin is the most profitable single part of the body.
2. The way the cows are held are catastrophic (see videos below)
3. Even if a cow gets killed for meat first, you give additional money to an industry that relies on murder, pollutes the environment and harms people with chemicals.
4. Does it really matter for which cause a mammal, that is 99 % genetically identical with us, gets killed? Would you say a cow only got slaughtered for the meat in the leg and thus it got slaughtered for the meat in the neck anyway? That doesn’t make sense.
5. So to the often said argument, animal skin would just be a byproduct, please google/youtube "leather is not a byproduct" you will find plenty of information. A good overview on all those issues can also be found here: adaptt.org/

The engineering design of the front end must mean this thing is a nightmare to repair and expensive if you crash it. The hood is a shell forms the fenders and the headlights are not in the bumper, they are up in the hood. That’s means when you damage your bumper, you damage EVERYTHING!!!
Can anyone tell me why this is called the performance? Why not calling it a Turbo S? Or is that something that they are still engineering? So many questions :p
