Brother your Vid's are by far the most "Unbiased" TRUE to the FACT informative as well as VERY Accurate & ENJOYABLE CB & Linear Amplifier Build/Repair Vid's that I have Ever Witnessed !! I'm an "Old School" CB'er & Basically just listen to "Skip" because my old mobile/Base Galaxy CB radio & 75' tower with rotator & Macon 105 Five element antenna & 900 amp Peter W. Dahl variable voltage power supply is all that's left after my Base Station was Destroyed by a "Tornado & i lost everything & had to start over !! I miss all of my Base & mobile CB's, amp. 's extensive electronics parts, tools, old tech manuals etc...... Most of All I miss building/repairing Amplifier's for friends & Family members!! & That's one VERY important thing you BLESS me with in your Vid's even though i' m not doing the Building you make me feel like I am right in the middle of your Builds/Repairs & each time I watch one of your vid's I'm drawn back to a moment in my past that I had to do something not exactly what you're vid's about but something similar enough to "Jog" my memory !!! Again I say THANK YOU for ALL you do & PLEASE keep the Vid's coming as I'm an AVID fan & look forward to ALL of your videos !!! GOD BLESS you & Your's From me & Mine !! That poor thing looks like my scoliosis spine now.
I'm pretty sure they put the van on a freaking flatbed truck.
I don't think they've ever hauled anything that high!!!!

I could never figure that one out. 50 years ago there was a guy called Razorback who had a Corvair van with two 102" whips on the roof! With the amplifiers of the time he had no trouble talking to his family in Arkansas...or anywhere else!
Consider this: at 746 watts per horsepower the amp makes 93 horsepower at 70,000 watts. It probably takes 185 to 200 horsepower to make that power.
Plus, RF energy is dangerous. Old hams ran 1000 watts out into ladder lines. Most of those old guys wore their pants up to their armpits and died from leukemia, lung cancer, and brain cancer. Their wives died in the same ways.

Best vidio you made should of dropped a 572 big block. My best to fatboy. I rather race the quarter mile. That is a waste of cash. I be seeing you on the base. I rather key a 100,000 watts on my huge beam. Be seeing you soon. Just remember small change in the big apple he had two 30,000's in the truck. He had a 83 Scottdale pick up. He had the biggest box. Go back 18 years. He had enough alternators about 22 he would of been king see you.
