- The Saab 35FS/J35XS Draken is a currently tier VII, 10.7BR jet fighter for the Swedish air tech tree. It has potent countermeasures / flares, RB24J missiles, and very good performance, but is the premium pack that it comes in worth $70? I go over all of that and more in this J35XS Draken full review.

just purchased the j35xs, this plane is so fun to play! as tankenstein said it rarely goes into a full up tier match and six missiles just handy. J35XS usually get put into a lobby with many A10 & F5C that don't really know what they r doing so it's very easy to get multi kill with this thing.

This is an underrated comment
The truth is this thing gets clubbed by a lot of the 11.0 vehicles, but it gets down tiered so often that it does the clubbing, and it is extremely fun.

BRO THIS PLANE IS SO FUN, as a swedish main, its nice to have a good high tier swedish premium plane. Also, the plane wasn't actually shipped to Finland. the Swedes gave the instructions to the Finns and the Finns built it with their own materials. The Finns put in better avionics, but at the cost of one 30mm cannon.
I own f5c, av8a, a5c, sps-k, j35xs in the premium bracket and this little swede is by far the best jet for its BR. Often gets down tier into 9.7 and with 6 missiles it's an absolute monster. It's engine is good, it can climb and nose moves so easily to stay on people. It's worth noting that the stealth guns come from the right of the cockpit so when trying to use cannons just remember it's right of the reticule - I just roll left moving the right wing up vertically. Got my first 6 kill game in it last night, 3 of those with guns.
Im excited to see his review of the F-104 for Italy. I thought it would be a meme but I've been having a great time in it along with my buddy who has been playing the US starfighters. Oddly our main victims have been F-14's. My Italian crew needs some work since they are only level 24.
From what I found playing the non-premium one, it suck stock. Like really really sucks. But once you get the 750s you are able to grind more efficiently and once you get the 9Js you are golden
man you always hit things when you don't miss.
I'm using it in Sim and I can say for Sim it's about an 9.0 because there you need the element of surprise and that is almost guaranteed with that plane.
I feel like the only one who regularly uses those unguided rockets against air targets. It is so good in a head on I've gotten 4 kills just from that in one match
A6 Tram staying low, I did not grind the F16 by playing the Tram low if you meet these planes higher up it negates whatever advantage they have as the AIM9L will ensure you come out on top all the time.
so its 10.0 and i dont really want to use it for CAS but to patroll the sky, is it worth buying?

I am scared because of my bad experience with the normal J35A I am soon rank 7 and I need something to get SL. A Draken with flares sounds nice, but I can't decide if the A5-C is a better option

Is it normal to be facing Mig-23's in a Sea Vixen FAW in Air RB? I have faced them in around ten different games now.

By Tankenstein's opinion, most if not all $70 prem jets gets a 7.75/10 Air rating. I thought there will be some variation here and there but nope, all 7.75
Yes, I liked Tankenstein before, but these top tier premiums reviews are so trash, he lost all credibility. Mirage F1 best premium? Let me tell you, I have 400 F1C games, and it IS BAD.

Look, I like Tankenstein and still will watches his videos on prem jet suggestions. I just find it hard to believe they all rank the same. Is it because he doesn’t want to piss off players or gaijin? So they all rank on the “high excellent”

note the flares drop in pairs so you only get 6 drops
If you bind it to another key you can drop 1 at a time

the 9.7-10.7 bracket is horrible. always uptiers for 9.7 br planes atm. no doubt this plane is fun until they fix/or nerf/change the BR in any posible way.

Still probably the best option for a high tier premium u can get (unless the SAAB-105 gets a fix/buff), for the tech-tree.

@@krypticpanda6670 It's 10.7 - Meaning it sees Radar missiles and 9Ls. Flares are an absolute necessity. It's dead weight without them, and only having 12 is the same as having none.
