When your skin barrier is compromised I believe it's the humectants together with thw water content that makes products sting.
My go-to is petrolatum for that, it will not sting. And with a compromised barrier, petrolatum protects you from bacterial folliculitis (I know yours is fungal, but bacterial is when staph that colonises in your nose and on the surface of the skin is able to get inside the skin through a wound or like if it's scratched up by a razor, or broken due to BP burn)
Looking at the ingredient list, same goes for this essence, it has no water, and the humectants that _are_ in there have emollient properties(?) as well!
Anyway, I will be looking at this the next time I fuck my skin up.
Ahh yes, that might be the reason for stinging. I wonder why everything I buy is not working.
Try Paula's Choice calm serum and I’m sure you will be blown away by the results. It soothes the skin immediately and also helps the skin to repair rapidly. It heals any irritation and minimizes itchiness. It has many beneficial ingredients and it also helps to brighten the skin. A month ago my skin was a mess and I had an uncontrolled skin eruption. I couldn't use any product except for Vaseline the petroleum jelly. Once I used the calm serum my skin felt soothed and calmed. I even tried it immediately after shaving my face and using laser hair removal device. The results were amazing and no more itchiness, stinging or redness.
This essence is not fungal acne safe .They changed the ingredients they put polisorbote 60.
I have to take it back in Hungary the label translation says it has this new ingredient but on Korean label it says the old ingredient list so I don't know why the Hungarian translation added polysorbate 60.
My skin is sensitive to green tea, and breaks me out😭😭😭
Maybe try centella instead...for me they are pretty similar ingredients with similar benefits.
@@DumitruAlexandrov I’m on the fence on that one as every Centella product I’ve tried (Benton, Cosrx etc) and even Mugwort makes my skin red and irritated. Hate having sensitive skin. It also hates squalane, jojoba, almond and rosehip seed oil, alpha arbutin, beta glucan, AHA/BHA, Vitamin C and especially Niacinamide. Breaks out into fungal acne and contact dermatitis, and I don’t have acne prone skin. In fact never had skin issues until I started K beauty, and the Ordinary. It also escalated to Rosacea and been over 7-8 months. It may be linked to my food (cow milk/dairy, wheat, soy/tofu, almonds and peanuts) and grass pollen allergies… got the cica toner from Cosrx’s new centella line. It stung like a mother fucker.

@@DumitruAlexandrov And sadly so far this brand hasn’t worked for me. Tried two of their creams and both broke me out; red inflamed skin, and red bumps. I wanna try this, but scared it’s gonna be another failure.
@@DumitruAlexandrov I’m just so frustrated because I’ve tried so many hyped and well known k beauty brands, even drugstore/pharmacy like Cerave, and nothing I put on my face works. Just red inflamed
skin with red uniform bumps and hives. I’m also allergic to mineral makeup/oil. And I only go for fragrance, alcohol, and essential oil free products. Still it breaks me out😭😭😭
