I wonder how geek and gorgeous hydration station can be considered FA safe since its main emollient is C15-19 Alkane (a.k.a. hemi-squalane) and it has a carbon chain length of 15-19. Fatty acids that have carbon chain lengths between 12 and 24 feed malassezia, that's why it's recommended to use squalane that have a carbon chain length of 30 and caprylic/capric acids that have 8-10.

Have you ever tried Timeless Skin Care‘s Matrixyl Synthe 6 serum and if so, how do you feel it stacks up to G&G’s Power Peptides? I realize they’re promising everything, but the kitchen sink in the power peptides. I’m not convinced that the amount of copper peptides in the product is very significant considering the price. I’ve never used G&G serums but from what I read about the Power peptides one, it can leave a bit of a tacky feeling behind which I know I won’t be fond of. I probably wouldn’t even be considering it, except that I am now out of retinal (which I use only on my chest and neck; I use tretinoin on my face) so I have to get the retinal somewhere. I would rather not pay for shipping which is why I have yet to place a G&G order. I get all my other serums from timeless and prefer their vitamin C, 20% C&E ferulic because it comes in a pump jar, so I never have to open it up and expose it to light and air. It’s lasted me a whopping seven months in the fridge without turning color but I doubt the G&G in the dropper bottle would last anywhere near that long since it has to be opened up every day which exposes it the earlier oxidation. There’s really nothing else from the line that I need almost ready to just purchase a more expensive retinal rather than pay for shipping. If I wasn’t using the products, I was, I would stock up on their other products to get free shipping. Would really appreciate hearing from you if you feel the power peptides really did anything. I’m not convinced that peptides do anything, frankly. I’m not even convinced they get into the skin but I’ve only been using them for about four months now, so it’s probably too soon to tell. I do just sort of feel like they sit on the skin and are probably a waste of money. I did find a 3% copper peptide by Theramid which I was really excited to try, but it turns out, it’s in unencapsulated so I have my concerns about using it with Tretinoin. Also, do you think it would be overkill using my timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6 with power peptides? American FDA is right in promoting mineral filters and questioning chemical ones. You cannot use them freely from head to toe! White colour YES, yellow colour NO!

Triasorb is a semi-chemical filter, it is yellow, but they add colorant RED 33 to minimise the colour on skin. Those sunscreens leave permanent yellow stains on textile immediately because of Triasorb.

Chemical and tinted sunscreens leave permanent yellow stains on textile either before or after washing. So I use only best non-tinted mineral sunscreens. Check AVENE USA mineral sunscreens and stick, but without iron oxides.

Pierre Fabre has best chemical sunscreens because of their owned filter Triasorb. It has critical wavelength at 390 nm. Intense Protect is for intense environment, that is why it is greasy and shiny. Avene and Ducray have other products with Triasorb.

The first ingredient is always water, Coreea has different legislations so they are allowed to put extracts as first ingredients but it s still 99% water in that extract and the corean brans that put water first are just more honest but overall it s just a legality difference, water is always first even if it says extract

I aways layer 2 fingers of a colorless sunscreen and then about 2/3 of a finger worth of tinted spf❤

I use the L'oreal Cream one myself (suprised I couldn't find barely any reviews about it) and it's really good! Using hyaluronic acid before, then the cream & it's non-greasy and gentle. Other Sunscreen every 2hrs during the day if I'm outside ofc. Awesome for the morning routine. 👍 I worked as an medical assistant for a dermatologist so I was able to make a lot of experience with different kind of sunscreens (mainly medical selled brands) and nowadays there are such good options, even for less money!
