Do you wanna know my secret? I swear on everything dude, most of the instruments sound like crap, I just tweaked a lot of them. Most are free VST's too, they don't sound like this at all. I tweaked them by using equalizers, amplifiers, all sorts of plugins like valhallaroom etc. It's just a matter of creating sounds to your liking. For example, I use a free program called Edirol Orchestral for my orchestral stuff. Just search for the instruments on youtube and google man, I'm sure you'll find instruments that sound great to you :)
This honestly sounds more like a remix of the Anime version that they would use in Pokémon Journeys once Ash makes it to the Pokémon World Championships Coronation series. I can just imagine him suddenly being on the battlefield only to discover that May is his opponent in the Semifinals in complete shock. And sometime earlier in the episode Goh meets Max who finally has a starter Pokémon of his own. And it's a Kirlia that evolved from the Ralts get rescued back in the Pokémon Advanced Battle Season he promised he would become partners with. Max challenges Goh to a 3 on 3 Battle like how he bluffed when he first met Ash and Goh accepts. The two of them start the battle with Max leading off with a Masquerain and Goh using his Scizor. The two Bug Types battle with Goh boasting a little saying that he's confident since Scizor is part Steel Type, none of Masquerain's Attacks can do much damage. But Max has his Masquerain use Quiver Dance to dodge all of Scizor's Attacks, explaining how he's learned to train his Pokémon to move unpredictably and gracefully from watching his sister compete in Pokémon Contests. And he explaines by using Quiver Dance, Masquerain's normally not very effective Attacks like Bubble Beam, Air Slash, and Signal Beam deal much more damage and eventually Masquerain beats Scizor. Max then brags about how even though he's a beginner that he's learned a lot from his father Norman the Petalburg City Gym Leader and the journeys he's been on with his older sister. And Goh retaliates with saying his dream is to catch every Pokémon and work his way to catching Mew, only for Max to scoff at him. So Goh sends out Drizzile and is quickly able to defeat the already very tired Masquerain. Max then sends out his next Pokémon, Banette. And again his Pokémon's unpredictable movements continue to be a problem. Only this time instead of flying around at high speeds, simply waits for the attack only to move just a little out of reach and use moves like Will-o-wisp and Shadow Sneak and even Thunderbolt. Seeing that Drizzile's Attacks miss too often and not wanting to face another Thunderbolt, Goh orders Drizzile to use U-Turn in order to switch out. But Max has his Banette use Mean Look, thus trapping Drizzle in battle. And just as Banette is about to use another Thunderbolt, seeing how sad helpless Goh feels for forcing Drizzile into a battle it can't win and reminding Drizzile how much Goh cares, Drizzile's determination shows and it's eyse turn pitch Black. And Drizzile then proceeds to use Sucker Punch. Both Max and Goh are completely surprised that Drizzile learned a new move and knocks out Banette in the process. Max remarks that in order for Drizzile to have learned a new move means that they care about each other a lot. Drizzile, although very tired insists on staying in battle despite Goh's concern. And Max sends out his partner Pokémon Kirlia. And because of the previous two Pokémon it defeated, Drizzile is knocked out by a hit from Kirlia's Magical Leaf. Goh then thanks Drizzile and attempts to return it to it's Pokball, only for Drizzile to insist on staying and watching. So Goh sets Drizzile to the side and sends out Cinderace. Kirlia tells Max that Goh actually had a strong bond with his Pokémon, especially Cinderace. So Max no longer believes Goh is just a trainer with an impossible dream and goes all out. Max orders Kirlia to use Confusion but Cinderace is able to break free and go for a barrage of Quick Attacks and Double Kicks. Seeing that up close Kirlia is at a disadvantage, Max has Kirlia switch to long range offense with Shadow Ball. But Goh orders Cinderace to kick it back at Kirlia and follow up with Pyro Ball. Kirlia dodges the Shadow Ball but can't get away in time from the incoming Pyro Ball. So Max orders Kirlia to stop it with Confusion. But with Cinderace being fully evolved and Kirlia still being a second stage Pokémon and Confusion having less power, Pyro Ball makes its mark. Max cries out in frustration for his difficulties in this battle and Kirlia is able to feel Max's emotions and his passion to win this battle in order to impress his sister and prove to Kirlia that they can beat any opponent. So with determination for her Trainer, Kirlia flashes a brilliant blue light and evolves into Gardevoir. And with renewed passion and courage, Max and Gardevoir continue the battle. Goh and Cinderace keep using their fast footwork and attempt another barrage of Quick Attacks and Double Kicks. But thanks to Evolution, Gardevoir is now fast enough to dodge them and retaliate with stronger Shadow Balls that Cinderace can't kick away anymore. So Goh has Cinderace use Pyro Ball again. But Gardevoir is now able to stop it and hurl it back with Psychic. Amazed, Max checks his Pokédex to see if Gardevoir has learned any other moves and there is one more. Goh then had Cinderace use Blaze Kick and Max orders Gardevoir to counter with Moon Blast. And the resulting explosion results in brilliant red flames and sparkling pink mist. When the smoke clears, both Cinderace and Gardevoir are on the ground unable to battle. The battle ends in a tie. Goh and Max rush to their partners and thank them and each other for the battle and rush to the Pokémon Center. After their parties are healed, Goh tells Max that was the best battle he had with another Trainer. And Max tells Goh that with a team if Pokémon who are that strong and trust, he hopes that Goh can catch every Pokémon and Mew. Although Max also chides that Goh will need all the luck he can get. After Max's snarky remark, the two of them begin bickering and comparing their knowledge on Pokémon. And Max ends up saying his sister is competing in the P.W.C.C.S and brags that she's going to win. Goh then ends up retorting that his friend is competing as well and brags that his friend has already battled Leon. So the two of them share an Angry Nerd stare down with Max's Glasses shining and Goh's hair all fiery and they rush to the Stadium. Once they arrive the trainers they're both rooting for step onto the field. Only for them to find out that they both know Ash and that Ash and May have battled before and the two are completely floored. May sends out her Blaziken and Ash sends out Pikachu. The two of them starting our with each of their strongest Pokémon. The battle starts and the Pokémon exchange of few blows. But May then says that she and Blaziken have found a whole new way to get stronger together and shows off her Mega Ring. And the episode ends with Blaziken surrounded by a Rainbow light as Ash and Pikachu are in awe and and Goh and Max watch from the stands. Sigh, you have NO IDEA how much I would love this dream to come true. I also like the references to the Hoenn Anime with Max having a Gardevoir and a Masquerain and a Bannete. Which were both secondary Pokémon that May's previous Rivals Drew and Harley battled against her with.

Twice the trumpets double the horns
My powers have doubled since the last time we met
