Aion FX Vector Ambient Delay Kit | Complete Build & Review | DIY Guitar Pedals

Welcome back everyone! This week we are reviewing my first build from Aion FX. It's the complete build kit for the Vector Ambient Delay. Aion's take on the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay uses a PT2399 to give an awesome digital/analog effect. 4 controls give you the ability to reach some interesting sounds with delay greater than 120ms. Three exterior knobs give you control of the feedback (repeats), delay time, and mix of your wet and dry signal. One internal trimmer also allows you to fine tune the feedback control if you feel like having the pedal reach self-oscillation.
This video will walk through the complete build, my initial thoughts, and a quick demo.

The quality of the Aion kits really is impressive. I build a Refractor last weekend and it call came together on the first try and worked great. I'll be building another Aion soon!

sounds good ,looks good too. Ive been trying to find the cosmetic pieces around the switch and light.All i have is a light holder.A bunch of plastic ones..Nice job

Here's me cringing at using the iron to transport a blob of solder. I know you know what you're doing and that it's inconsequential for the purpose you did it, but I'm OCD about soldering and it did get me a bit.
