I bought a used 2017 IS200t F-Sport last year 15k miles (gray exterior, red interior) for only $27,500 & its been fantastic so far! It replaced a 2015 Toyota Camry XSE V6 & it feels much more solid & much more sporty. I just found out the other day that it has a DVD player which is really cool.
This is pandemic 2020: I bought the 2017 LEXUS IS 200T F-SPORT for $30,400 (excluding Tax). The mileage on the car was 18700 and it is CPO. I still think I got hella ripped off. Over all I loved the car. Best Design, Reliable and Performance. I hate the dealerships. I love Lexus.
I love this car! Unfortunately I can't afford it until next year. Hoping that lexus will have a refresh of the IS line up next year. Do you have any news if there's a 2018 version?
The 2017 is the mid-cycle refresh. The next big change will be in 2020. I wish they had triple led bulbs headlights on this model they look badass but wont happen in the next few years.
little updates most likely for 2018, the small tweaks they usually do, maybe triple beam leds for the US market, and the new nav software most likely found in the LC, LS500, and 2018 NX

Because on the Lexus website I only see the F Sport 1 package available which doesn't seem to include Nav! And the outside specs and look seem to be identical to the IS 300 - is this right? Great question! The Nav system is separate from the FSport Package. I actually drive an FSport IS200t and I have the Nav. system in mine. The website can def. be complicated......

Great question. Personally, I like the IS200t because of the rear seat and I like a sporty sedan anyways. As far as performance, they are both pretty similar and the looks, I like the IS200t better. The problem fo the RC200t is it's weight of over 2 tons. A RC350 isn't faster as a IS250. ... BUT .... The chassis setup of the RC is definitely more oriented in direction of a sportscoupe than the IS. So you will be slower, but the fun factor will be higher.
I really dont like the fact that Lexus got rid of the dual beam front headlights. Those things looked great and very luxurious. To me, the direction the headlights took is a downgrade. The tailpipes also are a problem. Don't get me wrong they look grate but the new rear structure will make installing an aftermarket exhaust a little difficult.
