    Great video ... 1. When the guy on native said "lots & lots of dignitaries here" at 2:05 , he meant "lots & lots of Nigerian thieves" 😄😄... 2. Situating the generator that close to the "security" house is not a good idea for me 2:52. Exposes the security personnel(s) to too much humming background noise which attackers can use as a leverage. 3. The outside trees being too tall and way too close to the house 2:58 will definitely undermine the security of the house (with the present security situation in Nigeria) in case of an attack. Attackers would have been too close to the rear fence before they are even noticed to be repelled. The trees would give them the much needed cover they need. 4. I could not spot any CCTV for surveillance (maybe it is present but I did not notice it or it is still being set up). 5. Great job with the bulletproof (if true) entrance door 4:07. 6. No greenery. 7. I could also not spot any fire extinguisher or sprinkler system (maybe they are still being processed like the fire alarm 11:50). I believe that a $1.3m property should have all of these included.

Buhari has made everything, including building materials, very expensive and, from the look of this building, it seems most of the materials used were imported. Then factor in the cost of land in Abuja. Of course, builders go collect their own from inside.

    Cemented floor everywhere. No beautiful garden landscape. This is the problem with Nigerian developers. They don't know that soil helps to reduce the sun's heat and makes houses comfortable. The house looks like a warehouse from the outside. But inside is not bad

    Nice house though, the Kitchen island is too small for that huge space, remove the club lights from the kitchen because I will like to see the colour of my jollof rice. Also, the environment matters when choosing a house👍🏼I need to see same quality and house design on the street. Can’t be the only rich person in the neighborhood. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Beautiful house👏🏼👏🏼

    This is a ugly ass House. It's not modern at all, it's just a mixture of a basic building with ancient Greek/Roman columns to make it seem grandeur. More so, as Nigerians we should also focus on garden architecture. A house or a building can never be complete, unless the outside area is also well designed. That's means more greenery, trees, flowers, plants, lighting systems, masonry etc. Omo, this one na higgy hagga........ Anywho, Steven you are just doing your job. I appreciate your content and your efforts bro.

    The house is very massive and the spaces very generous. You said most things on my mind, particularly the lack of greenery with such amount of land space. They shouldn’t be even talking about artificial greenery. They’d best break up some of those concrete and plant trees and flowers.
    I thought I was the only one that I had a problem with the small seize of wardrobes.
    The party lights in the kitchen is totally unnecessary. And the ones by the stair area too.

    Nice big Abuja traditional house. I would have eliminated the guest house to make the pool bigger and create a garden. I would have created a third floor with a flat roof that can be used. Somebody that buys this house can make those changes.

      To be honest Abuja architects really need to do away with the that House design of box, columns and hip roof. Especially for a single house client.

  • @babajideanimashaun693
    @babajideanimashaun693 2 роки тому +8

    Yeah, there's enough space for the rooms to have bigger walk-in closets. There's space to add more closets though.
    The pool should have been stretched a bit more too, so swimmers can do proper laps. The way it is now is just suitable for getting in and splashing water, not ideal for actual swimming. Narrow but long pools are more useful; you can mess around in them and serious swimmers can also do laps in them; they are actually aptly named lap pools.
    I also think the developer set too much of a tone for the decor of the house with all the gold trims. This makes it a harder sell to people that have a different decor philosophy.

  • @neonxfluorescent1314
