Penix is inaccurate and has bad mechanics, I believe his bad habits of Feet not being set can be fixed with reps. However, his throwing motion can’t be easily fixed and I believe why he is inaccurate. I understand what he did in college, but NFL is a different level, they are 19-20 yr olds.

Came here after watching Cousins badly struggle through 13 games. Hoping Michael gets his chance this season. He's the Falcons future. What I saw watching this game now: Penix keeps his eyes across the entire field, always. Moves great in the pocket. Strong arm, most throws are effortless. His accuracy needs some work, but this was a preseason game. He doesn't have the quickest delivery, but it's good enough. In college he was unafraid to run around more, here he just played smart, focused on passing.
As long as he stays healthy. He will annihilate any defense especially when the development comes. Love how quick he gets the ball out. Also Casey Washington is gonna be that guy. Solid nunber 2 behind Drake for sure.
