In rigs u need to work as maintenance engineer, maintaining all sensors and instruments. In platforms along with the above task you also need to monitor process parameters. Same in land rigs. But in office you need to coordinate with offshore Engineers. Scope in foreign countries is good if you have 8-10yrs of experience in ongc, like middle eastern and mexican companies
ECE usually either get posted in Infocom section or during shortage of manpower are posted as instrumentation engineer. Maximum times ece people are posted on land but sometimes they do get offshore posting
Chemist in oil rigs are responsible for making drilling fluid (mud) in platform. Quality of petroleum products. Monitoring chemical treatment system. In platform chemist perform chemicals required in injection system.

No u don't have to return back. For example for mobile u get 50k, after 2 yrs the deprecated amount u need to pay which is very very exact figure I don't know but it's very less

I think we can’t combine earned leave and casual leave. But we will get only 10 or 12 days of casual leaves if we want to take 14 days of leaves at a time we can’t use casual leaves . As casual leaves will not be carried forward it means neither can we use casual leaves nor it gets carried forward am I correct?
