- Batman Arkham Knight creative gameplay using Ben Affleck's Batman suit.
Batman: Arkham Knight is a 2015 action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Written by Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster, Arkham Knight is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. Set nine months after the events of 2011's Batman: Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City, causing a citywide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the mysterious Arkham Knight, is also able to unite Batman's greatest foes in an attempt to finally destroy Batman.
The game is presented from a third-person perspective, with a primary focus on Batman's melee combat, stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets. Batman can freely move around the open world of Gotham City, interacting with characters and undertaking missions, and unlocking new areas by progressing through the main story or obtaining new equipment. The player is able to complete side missions away from the main story to unlock additional content and collectible items. Combat focuses on chaining attacks together against numerous foes while avoiding damage, while stealth allows Batman to conceal himself around an area, using gadgets and the environment to silently eliminate enemies. Arkham Knight introduces the Batmobile as a playable vehicle, which is used for transportation, puzzle solving and combat.

Batfleck is most likely the closet resemblance to the comicbook batman, just his physicality alone is accurate enough, literally imposing
*1:33* That was a genius move to slam the big brute into the wall panel and smoke pellet next for fear takedowns , I never thought of that 🤔
Bravo stealthy !
Thanks man !
His physicality is the "only" comic accurate part of his character
What are you talking about? He has a pretty good voice, Alfred, fight scenes and he looks very comic accurate... but that's like, the ONLY thing that even resembles the comics.
@@fanta_claws So his martial art prowess isn't comic accurate? Him being a detective isn't accurate?
He definitely is the best representation of Batman from the comics…Everything about him screams Bruce Wayne but they failed the script for him imagine if he was in the New “The Batman” 2022 directed by Matt Reeves…Affleck woulda been easily the best Batman of all time
I didn't like Ben Affleck's Batman at first, but he's grown on me over the years. I do miss him, looking forward to him and Keaton in the Flash movie next year.

I prefer arkham city. But I confess HEAVILY to a bias
Unpopular opinion: I loved arkham origins a lot, but that’s just me.
Arkham’s knights combat system and predator mode was the best of the series. But the batmobile, boss fights and story had an equally bad aspect for every great thing it did.
You see Ben Affleck is like Andrew Garfield... He had the potential to be a great Batman but unfortunately the movies and script weren't as promising
couldn't agree more
the script was fine
@@rayquan777765555344 it wasn't bad. It wasn't great.
@@rayquan777765555344 nope. script was terrible. any person who has basic knowledge of film writing can see that every batfleck movie was disastrous. cramming so much into one movie without building characters. very unfortunate because ben affleck is an amazing actor and had the perfect build for a dark, brooding, physical batman.
not to mention, zack snyder knew nothing of batman. killing people? ego driven? yea, no. they wanted to make supermans son the next batman? very strange and in my opinion i think they shouldve stuck to the source material rather than writing a whole new batman.
sorry to rant but it drives me crazy when great actors and great characters are wasted

Say what you want about BvS but the warehouse scene was the best live action batman fight scene we've ever gotten
Batfleck is GOATed in my opinion. His physical presence and brutal combat was perfect.
His Batman is a killer. I love the design and his combat when he isn't killing, he looks good as Batman. He does a good job as that version of the character. The problem is, that version of the character goes against what Batman is.

Snyder and Affleck. What a duo 🔥🔥🔥
This Batman was very comic accurate since he was scary big intimidating authoritative confident imposing and cared about his allies and loved ones. As Bruce Wayne, he was charming charismatic and witty.
And for everyone saying, he is a bad batman because he killed. Batman's character is not made of just one thing. Your entire personality and character is not defined by your one moral rule. Your moral rules and code are a result of circumstances you are in. Batman is a complex character who is capable of challenging his own moral viewpoints. There are so many things to his character than just his moral code which was specifically intended to be challenged for the purpose of this one story.
he was not comic accurate at all, you're wrong af, he doesn't kill bcz he doesn't want people being through what he has been through, hr doesn't want people suffering like he did, if you don't get that, then you don't get the first thing about being batman
@@G.R-w9w Everyone and their mother understands that batman doesnt kill and why he doesnt kill but Batman is more than just his one moral code. He is a complex individual capable of changing and challenging his own viewpoints and not just a collection of moral platitudes. We all are more than that. Our values are a result of what happens around us. It's possible that you felt a certain way about a particular issue but 5 years later, based on what happened to you or around you and your general temperament, you might feel differently about this issue. Saying that Batman, no matter what, under no circumstances, would start becoming non-chalant about his no killing rule is equivalent to saying that it's impossible for Batman to be more cynical and world-weary. It's to imply that Batman isn't a human but a mere robot. Sorry to break it to you but Batman is a human capable of changing his moral views. If Batman had done a total 360 and become an evil person like Lex or the Joker, I would have called it out too for being stupid and unrealistic. But he just changed his moral viewpoint. I know that's moral viewpoint is very important to him but it's possible to change. It's fun to challenge his morality and the same goes for other fictional characters too. This wasn't even a permanent change.
i don't remember anything other than batman being intimidating. he felt like he was always so distant from all of his allies. i didn't feel his charaisma at all but then again i did erase bvs and justice league from my mind pretty much.
@@luigi7146 He was intimidating, brutal, authoritative, a great combatant and a martial artist and as Bruce, he was charming, witty and likable. He cared about his allies because he was visibly upset when his employee Wally died. He also hugged the girl in the beginning during the black zero event. So, deep down, he was the same vision of a hero we know and love just more cynical and world weary. The movie didnt glorify him killing people. It just challenged his no killing rule and in the end his no killing rule was restored
@@sparshbansal6624 I felt like he was too Quick to rebound from that whole Killing thing.
I wish we got to see Batfleck reflect on the gravitas that came with the consequences. Probably would've been explored in his Solo film. I dont mind the Concept, but it didn't have the time to develop and resonate for me.
I know for a fact that if I admitted to liking Ben Affleck's Batman, 90% of the Batman Fandom would wanna strangle me.
you can like him, but you need to understand that the script and zack snyder turned him into something that is not batman, he is a great actor tho, and would be perfect for the role
@@G.R-w9w That is the whole point of the film. He becomes Batman after Superman's sacrifice. What is so difficult to understand? That his character arc in the two movies.
@@bananabatsy3708 Do you understand how dumb it is that Batman became Batman because he got punched in the face by Superman a hundred times and not from his own arc
@@duncangaming4165 that's a very disingenuous way of putting his story arc though. Where exactly did he get punched a 100 times by Superman to become Batman again?! Could you elaborate on that?! BvS Batman was someone who lost his way after fighting crime for 20 years, losing Robin and seeing the destruction unfold in Metropolis. He didn't care anymore. He became the very thing he hated. It wasn't until seeing the humanity in Superman and his sacrifice for the greater good that reminded him why he became Batman in the first place. He was reborn as Batman. The one who didn't seek blind vengeance but one who fought for justice, for the right thing to do.
It's hilarious how the so called "Batman Fandom" fails to miss Batfleck's obvious character arc and comic accuracy then claims to like Burton and Nolan's version of Batman which is way more inaccurate and uncharacteristic of Batman on a whole.
This "Batman Fandom" is the same one which complains about Batfleck's temporary killing in BvS then says Bale's Batman abandoning Ra's Al Ghul to die in Batman Begins is accurate and justified lmao. Clearly they know nothing about Batman's code in the comics and just ride the bandwagon
Batfleck suit + Conroy’s voice = ✨perfection✨
Honestly, it'd be really cool to have someone who just generally looks like the Batman in this game play Batman in a life action movie, but would be voiced by Kevin Conroy...man's voice just fits the role so well.
Don't get me wrong, it would be kinda goofy looking, but it'd sound really good
Kevin Porter's Batman comes pretty close.
I honestly wanted to see a Ben Affleck Batman movie and I wanted to see more of Ben Affleck as Batman
Check out his movie "The Accountant", where he's basically the Punisher with autism.
He looks like Batman, and is certainly a good enough actor that if they gave him a proper script, he'd produce a good result.
