Alla Rakha Tabla Solo

Ustad Allarakha Qureshi (1919-2000) was one of India’s most renowned Tabla players and is well known to international audiences thanks to his many international tours during the 1960s & 1970s. Among his many disciples, his son Ut Zakir Hussain is particularly well known.
In this 1978 recording, Ut All Rakha plays Tala Roopak on Tabla.
