  • In this episode, we move the Kearns to it's final place in the machine shop, next will be electrical test and first run,.... unfortunately, we found quite a few issues, so please stay tuned for the following episodes.
I just found this much desired addition to my workshop, entirely unexpected.
Recently been to a customer who was moving premises and seen that old machine sitting there on
blocks. Being on the lookout for one of those for quite a while, I could not resist to ask that magic question.
Much to my surprise, he was willing to part with it, now see the result in the video ...:-)

Those forks are long enough to pick things up today and tomorrow at the same time! Merry Christmas to you and the Mrs. :)

Tanks,...hope you had a good Christmas, too.... Yes, these forks are pretty handy, especially for lifting cars or reaching deep into a garage ...

It sure is ... but it needs a fair bit of love, just being far too busy with other things right now.

You were enjoying moving that far too much.....I'm thoroughly jealous!

To be honest, the real pleasure was having the machine at it's place, so i finally could figure out what works or not (unfortunately a lot)
Moving stuff around on wet soggy ground with a 4 ton (empty weight) forklift struggling to get traction is not really fun ...
