The Human Centipede is NOT a movie that you "never watch alone"... Its a movie that you should never watch with another person... unless you want your every following moment with them to be incredibly awkward
I tapped it on vhs. Back in the day you could take any vhs and stuff the sides so that it could tap. So my tap looks pretty creepy. It looks like the real thing.
Yeah.. I bought the VHS used from some scetchy bookshop when i was like 12.. I was so scared after buying it, i couldnt stand being alone in a room with a tv for months after seeing it..
I would watch it under certain conditions and in fact have many times. The conditions are that it plays on a smallish screen, on a different continent, and that its not me watching it.
Other than the utterly disgusting premise, it is also poorly written and even more poorly acted. Nothing scary. Just a gross out movie with an untalented cast.
meeki mya it's actually nice of the ghost to care for the missing girls, otherwise the feral children would be dead, and it's Soo sad when you find out how she died
I hate watching movies with other people, especially when there are some that can't follow a plot, or think it's clever or cute to keep asking dumb questions. I prefer to watch on my own, with headphones, if possible. I've seen most of the films on this list, some several times, and prefer the original Japanese 'Ringu' to the American remake. I don't find any of them particularly scary, although the sequels to 'The Human Centipede' weren't very good at all. I prefer the movie 'Splice'. I'm always amused that cinema audiences still scream and jump at horror movies, despite the fact that they must know it's not real.
I always believed The Human Centipede 2 was better written and a great followup to Human Centipede 1. Also just because its "not real" doesn't mean it can't scare you.
NorthernTraveller10 me too. Cause I'm afraid of the dark. And once I see a scary movie I can't get it out my head and that's what scares me. I do watch kid zone scary movies though like goosebumps.
I've seen many scary flicks in my day, But the one that gets me still even after 19 years is House on Haunted Hill [1999] I can't watch that movie alone, even in the dark. It got a lot of negative criticism but I think it was a great remake.
Agree - Everyone i know hated that movie when i thought it was done damn well. The part where the lady is recording the medical procedure in the basement room (yet no one is there), was a str8 shot to the gut of scary. altho the black evil storm that ran through the house at the end was the lowest budget crap i ever seen and loses all credibility to the movie. The opening scene was beyond brilliant to start into the movie. I still like it
I saw "The Green Room". It was pretty good. I also saw "Mama". It was very good. I saw "Deliverance" YEEEEEARS ago. It was really good, too. And, if I ever go camping and hear a banjo off in the woods, I'm going home right then.
There are many really good movies on this list. I've watched damn near all of them. Alone. I do wish that I would have watched these three with a friend: 1. The Descent 2. Hard Candy 3. Ex Machina They were all really good and I wish I watched them with someone. I do not say this bc I was scared. Those movies were so good that as soon as they ended, I wanted to analyze, dissect, and discuss them immediately.
Aggressive Banana unless you want to get laid by yourself: Pretty much every romantic movie. And I'm not talking like "first date getting laid", I'm talking like "order pizza or watch that stupid movie and go for it afterwards getting laid"
to me, lake mungo is one of the scariest movies i have ever watched..it starts out really slow, but it gradually builds up the suspense..and the scene near the ending is something i will never be able to get out of my head..its so disturbing and it scared the shit out of me and i was legit scared to go to the bathroom for the next couple of days (im 18 btw)..and that's coming from someone who is watching horror movies since i was being a kid
Raphaela Matias The theatre stage version was seriously disturbing, because the production manages to come up with shocks that you wouldn't expect because it's theatre. Way better than the movie, imho.
Nileonatter download Showbox application from Google. Lots of movies in good quality including Ex-matchina. Showbox app works online. You can watch movies TV shows online and also you can download it. It's 100% free.
I guess if you're scared of movies in general you shouldn't watch these alone?lol The movies that get to me are the ones that can and have actually happened like The Strangers. I still love monster movies like The Descent though. I kind of thought It Follows was overrated and not that good. Not sure why you shouldn't watch Ex Machina alone unless you're scared of pretty robots. That dance scene is hilarious though😂! Add to the list: A French movie called 'Inside' aka 'a l'interieur'. It's one of the few movies you'll see where the woman, whose often being hunted by the killer(s) IS the hunter. The Strangers Hush
I’m gonna go and watch all of these alone now. Thanks! Also one time I scared my friend when he woke up by holding a picture of the babadook in front of his face 😂
My movie Jaws make people fear the waters even to this day! A male adult came up to me once and spoke about how he couldnt even take bubble baths as a kid. **The Berg has spoken**
I have watched all of these alone and had no problems at all. You should have added "Exorcist" from the 70's. I can watch it by myself. But, I used to not be able to. Even after all these years, it's still pretty creepy!!!
I'm a child and the first scary film I have ever watched was the woman in black. When I watched it my lights were out and I was alone at home. I thought it was a soft scary film so I watched it, besides it had one of my favourite actors. Now, it takes a lot to make me be afraid of something.
Please stop with the Babadook. An eposode of Goosebumps is scarier than that movie. I'd rather watch the entire tranformers franchise back to back followed by 12 hours of "the room" than watch the Babadook again. It's that bad.
Why the f would I watch AntiChrist with anyone? I can't even finished it on my own, let alone make other people see it, that would make me a shitty jerk of a friend or a sadistic family member.
Exactly! I've seen Antichrist along with the other two films alone and somehow I was able to enjoy(I'm into disturbing stuff)it. I definitely wouldn't watch them again though!
I love how on this list of what movies you shouldn't watch alone, the first one to come is The Ring. I first watched The Ring when I was 5 all by myself while my mom was at work. Maybe this is why I'm in love with horror movies.
Poltergeist traumatized my childhood lol I had a damn tree just like the one in the movie right at my window lmao safe to say my dad had to cut it down lol
mejw1 me too I thought that freaking tree that was right outside my window is alive and I watched it the whole night just to make sure it doesnt move or something
these movies don't scare me. I'm not acting tough, I enjoy the crazy and the horror. Besides I always seem to know what's gonna happen right before it happens. Like Mama: it was on a scale of 1 to 10 (on the creepy scale) a 7 for me. The only horror movie that just gave me a startle was: The Conjuring. Just a startle not a scare. I can crawl into the madness of the movie and figure it out instantly. Yet I haven't gone insane, now that is strange. Now I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a stupid comment about my comment or just saying I don't wright very well. If someone talks about nr. 2 then he/she is a morron, cause almost everybody makes a mistake while typing.
The book for The Ring was super disturbing, it was so great. The movie and its franchises . . eh. But I'm so happy to see someone recognize Green Room! It's soooo good!
Darkness Falls,The Orphanage,Willard,Shutter Island,1803,Candyman(the first one),Jaw(made me scared of water when I was little),Midnight Meat Train & Hellraiser,It,and many more.
No it is not. I watched it and I say I like it. I've seen different movies, always the same thing ''someone dies'' and that's the point of all horror movies. But if I had to say that I like Unfriended then BOOM! I DID! And it is not a garbage, for your information, it's a normal movie which some people can like or not. All movies are good.
I love to be scared (by a movie). That is why I have watched all of these, excl. Deliverance, by myself. That is when you can tell if they are truly scary or not. From this list, I would say that The Babadook, Mama, and Unfriended gave me the most heebie-jeebies.
The Ring- watched it alone, it was boring The Decent- haven't seen it yet but my science teacher has told me its freaky The Woman in Black- started it got bored The Babadook- watched it alone it screwed me up but i didn't scream Don't Breath- haven't seen it yet Poltergeist- Meh x1000000 It Follows- watched it alone I was bored Anti Christ- haven't seen it Deliverance- Haven't seen it The Human Centipede- I watched it alone, it made me feel so so sick Lake Mungo- Haven't seen it Hard Candy- Haven't seen it Unfriended- Started and got Bored Greenroom- Haven't seen it Mama- Seen the trailer but haven't watched the movie yet Ex Machina- Haven't seen it
1. The Ring -- I'm not a horror fan, but I liked this adaptation so much, I went and watched the original. Both are cool. 2. The Descent 3. The Woman in Black 4. The Babadook 5. Don't Breathe 6. Poltergeist 7. It Follows 8. Antichrist 9. Deliverance 10. The Human Centipede (...and sequels) 11. Lake Mungo 12. Hard Candy 13. Unfriended 14. Green Room 15. Mama 16. Ex Machina -- ...really? I think maybe it'd be nice having someone else to discuss cool concepts and implications for this one, but not really the same sort of movie as the rest (less freaky, much more abstract/conceptual and intelligent IMHO).
You can watch "Don't Breathe" and "The Descent" alone. They're great and not too much reliance on jump scares. Antichrist and The Human Centipede are just silly.
Seen all these movies and by myself, absolutely no problem. Actually have seen films that make all these look like Disney films really. Not to say they weren't awesome, they definitely were. I was surprised you guys didn't mention Eden Lake.
Prince #1 Bro, it's a children's horror movie. I would watch it alone in my room in October of next year because I don't have any brothers or sisters who are either vampires or zombies :(
I technically re-watched Insidious, Sinister, The Conjuring, and Annabelle by myself. Not terribly bothered. A movie that does leave me creeped out after watching alone (which I've done repeatedly) is Silent Hill. Can't help imagining any place I'm in falling into the darkness with peeling paint, fire, and unnaturally moving creatures.
I am going to regret watching Sinister all my life. The people who made it were surely a bit unhinged that thing is so unwatchable , I musta skipped most of it
I watched it in theaters with my MOM not knowing what it really was. It’s horrifying and my mom kept leaving to go to the bathroom leaving me alone in a dark theater
Texas Chainsaw Massacre,The House of 1000 Corpses,Rose Red,Mama,The Exocist,Decent,Sybil,Saw(first one),Thaw,Lava,See No Evil,and many more that I can't remember right now.
Absolutely LOVED "Don't Breathe" I thinks it's an excellent thriller that's very tense but I didn't find it scary so don't think it belongs in this list. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone though, but definitely not scary IMO, just tense
My reviews!!!!! (The ring) I watched alone really good (The descent) Never seen it but sounds great (Woman in black)Watched with my little sister then watched alone the next time quite boring tbh (The babadook)Watched alone like 10 times love it I recommend it to everyone ( don’t breathe)seen it alone and thought it was amazing good movie to watch!! (Poltergeist)Seen a little bit but got bored (It follows) watched it by myself because my friend got scared and left me but I wouldn’t watch again wasent my type of film (Antichrist) Never seen it (Deliverance)Never seen this either (Human centipede)Watched it with my friend honestly very strange but it’s alright (Lake mungo) Never seen (Hard candy) Gonna try and find this to watch sounds really good (Unfriended) Watched it by myself didn’t find it scary at all (Green room)Never seen and don’t think I’m going to watch it looks quite boring (Mama) Seen it by myself quite enjoyed it to be honest my friend kept telling me she was so scared of it so I put it off for a while but didn’t find it scary (Ex machina) Never seen it
ok I have watched most of these movies, but the Babadook is absolutely terrifying, especially home alone at one in the morning with your friend, who keeps on turning over to you, her eyes wide and looking terrified. A good movie but not a good setting to watch It in.
When I watched the Babadook the power went off in my house ten minutes, and then came back on. I decided to continue watching the movie. When the end credits started playing the power went out a second time, but the houses all around me still had power.
What other movies do you think should've made this list?
Looper Dead silence
Looper "it" "vvitch" american werewolf in london, the exorcist
i know i am forgeting some
the amazing bulk
But I don't have any friends to watch this movies..
for me i could never watch IT alone
The Human Centipede is NOT a movie that you "never watch alone"... Its a movie that you should never watch with another person... unless you want your every following moment with them to be incredibly awkward
Sorry frnd i watched it alone and it was gruesome
+Logan Ryman Or maybe shouldn't watch ever. If I were you, I would rather watch a comedy film, since I get scared easily.
The Ring on VHS is the best because the whole cursed video plays before the movie starts.
Sclasspsycho Oouuu, that sounds better. Never knew that
Sclasspsycho then watch the original ringu. It's 10x scary.
I tapped it on vhs. Back in the day you could take any vhs and stuff the sides so that it could tap. So my tap looks pretty creepy. It looks like the real thing.
Lmfao by the time the movie ends, one person is alive in the theater. ;D
Yeah.. I bought the VHS used from some scetchy bookshop when i was like 12.. I was so scared after buying it, i couldnt stand being alone in a room with a tv for months after seeing it..
Even with an entire crowd of a hundred or a thousand people I would never want to watch The Human Centepede
Agreed. I got mildly nauseating just reading the synopsis.
I would watch it under certain conditions and in fact have many times.
The conditions are that it plays on a smallish screen, on a different continent, and that its not me watching it.
Other than the utterly disgusting premise, it is also poorly written and even more poorly acted. Nothing scary. Just a gross out movie with an untalented cast.
watched it alone and it isn’t scary. it’s just ridiculous in my opinion but then again I’m a teenager so I’m probably just immature.
Heather H Talking about the cast, they merely picked up the actors who would find the subject of the movie "less disgusting".
Mama is honestly not scary, but it’s sad. I watched it at 4 am, at the end I cried haha.
meeki mya it's actually nice of the ghost to care for the missing girls, otherwise the feral children would be dead, and it's Soo sad when you find out how she died
you should watch train to busan
Same with Lights Out. It’s not on the list, but I thought it was pretty sad once you found out who the dark figure was.
meeki mya same
Mama wasnt scary at all

Same.
brianartillery Looking for attention? Go somewhere else
I like splice to but I don't like that she changed into a male alien thing I prefer her like a female
brianartillery. Same
why ex machina? i mean i watched it alone but it was a very good film
Tom Hunks me too
I watched ex machina alone and when it was done i thought "wtf i want my 2 hours back! What a load of shite!"
you clearly have a terrible taste in movies then
I thought it was more interesting then scary. watched it alone and it did not really scare me. Good film though.
deagleninja yes mate, I seen all the black mirror episodes, they're much better than ex machina!
Human centipede shouldn't be watched period. Like ever.
And yet......... it has two sequels. Don't know why, the first one was total garbage!
I can't find anywhere to watch it
Or even exist 😳🤢
queen anabelle Netflix
queen anabelle it's (or at least was) on Netflix.
Human Centipede is a movie you should watch with your entire family.
Nuwanda84 is it scary? Cuz I want to be scared
lol that would be as comfy as a wedgie from a cactus

Followed by "a serbian film" and "irreversible".

NorthernTraveller10 pussy
NorthernTraveller10 me too. Cause I'm afraid of the dark. And once I see a scary movie I can't get it out my head and that's what scares me. I do watch kid zone scary movies though like goosebumps.
NorthernTraveller10 that’s why I put The Office on reruns
all these movies are nothing

Who would be watching this with other people?
Well since I have zero friends, I will have to admit that I've seen all but one of these movies alone.
Rosemary Williams i also have no frnd so we can watch it tigether if u want
:)
Rosemary Williams Nothing wrong with being a solitary creature.
Haha I’m too much of a pussy to watch these alone well at least no of these 😂🎥 but I can handle it w/ friends
Unfriended seriously!!! That was stupid and also why didn't they close their computers!!! It was just stupid!!!!
shut up that movie was dope.
No, it was terribly made and written.
Francisco Calderon It was still good to me it doesn't need to be amazing to be good
Because if they closed their computers, they'd be alone with a ghost who wants to kill them. That wouldn't have saved them.
Yeah it's stupid and illogical science. Ghosts can use computers and internet now
Why isn't avatar the last airbender on here
Paniniproto is it scary and how old r u
well it's SOOOOOO BAD IT'S SCARY
Paniniproto cos you shouldn't watch that shit all together
That movie gave me ptsd, so thanks for reminding me of it...
Paniniproto you just won the Internet
Who the hell made this list? A 15 year old???
Babbi Rios because of a UA-cam video? Or are you trying to be edgy and funny
I didn't find any of them that I watched that scary (I haven't seen all of them)
ehinton4006 how is he being edgy by calling looper out for their shitty videos? You must be a 15 year old who took offense to his joke.
Drew Jacob he deleted a comment ass hat. Fuck off now
Drew Jacob have at it kid
I've seen many scary flicks in my day, But the one that gets me still even after 19 years is House on Haunted Hill [1999] I can't watch that movie alone, even in the dark. It got a lot of negative criticism but I think it was a great remake.

That's soft, Watch the thing(1982)
That movie gave me nightmares as a kid
I saw "The Green Room". It was pretty good.
I also saw "Mama". It was very good.
I saw "Deliverance" YEEEEEARS ago. It was really good, too. And, if I ever go camping and hear a banjo off in the woods, I'm going home right then.
“Don’t Breathe” is the BEST thing on this list!
Did looper just rick roll me in 2017?
Rick Astley will NEVER GIVE YOU UP.
the ring has so many damn plot holes that i wasn't scared
Like what?
the American version are shocking compared to the Japanese
Mr Not That Famous Thats why you watch it with drunk friends
Yeah but it was based on a untrue story .Fact is stranger than fiction .
Cos you didn't not watch the Japanese (original)
I disagree with a few of these, but at least I know what you mean, but I really don't know why Ex Machina is here. There's nothing scary about it.
There are many really good movies on this list. I've watched damn near all of them. Alone. I do wish that I would have watched these three with a friend:
1. The Descent
2. Hard Candy
3. Ex Machina
They were all really good and I wish I watched them with someone. I do not say this bc I was scared. Those movies were so good that as soon as they ended, I wanted to analyze, dissect, and discuss them immediately.
Me too! 🥰🥰 I enjoy praising/critiquing, discussing, and analyzing movies (regardless of the genre) all the time! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Never watching Human Centipede
Watch Human Centipede 2 instead.
Vinnie-Dangerous Official Music don't.
or maybe the worst
Vinnie-Dangerous Official Music I think we can agree unanimously on this🍻🍺🍸I'll drink to that
You should never watched it! It just completely gross and the second one is worst!!!
More like Horror Movies You Should Never Watch Alone
El Phelezino I
Is there any other kind?
Aggressive Banana unless you want to get laid by yourself: Pretty much every romantic movie.
And I'm not talking like "first date getting laid", I'm talking like "order pizza or watch that stupid movie and go for it afterwards getting laid"
These films aren't even that scary.
I saw most these alone at night when I was 8... 😂
I've seen all of these alone. None did anything for me.
Ty Sama not all but i watched most of them alone
Ty Sama same, none of them are scary lol
Damn homie, youre hard af
Ozzy Maverick, what stain? I keep myself clean, you nasty fuck.
The ones I have so far I as well watched alone. Most of these are frankly underwhelming on the fear factor.
unfriended was a pretty funny movie
Willthepill03 ikr?? I've watched w my friends a long long time ago and we still laugh when we remember the movie
to me, lake mungo is one of the scariest movies i have ever watched..it starts out really slow, but it gradually builds up the suspense..and the scene near the ending is something i will never be able to get out of my head..its so disturbing and it scared the shit out of me and i was legit scared to go to the bathroom for the next couple of days (im 18 btw)..and that's coming from someone who is watching horror movies since i was being a kid
The Descent is one of my favorites! Really makes you claustrophobic.
The Woman in black, really??????????
Raphaela Matias I love Daniel Radcliffe but I preferred the older version. felt creepier and perhaps because it was a bit more grainy.
Raphaela Matias was thinking the same thing😂 WiB was your typical summer PG-13 flick
Raphaela Matias The theatre stage version was seriously disturbing, because the production manages to come up with shocks that you wouldn't expect because it's theatre. Way better than the movie, imho.
Raphaela Matias that movie was so boring and dark, it might as well be a shut off TV with sound
my thoughts exactly.....
Don't Breathe was great
_Unfriended_ ?? Why?
SmittenKitten That movie was horrible
Such a shitty movie it wasn’t even scary
I watched that movie alone at midnight.. I was laughing throughout the movie 😂
Olivia Pixie i don't know how you got through it!! I would have fallen asleep. :D
SmittenKitten I did 😑
I wached 99% of those movies alone , but when i tried to play silent hill on ps3 alone in a dark room 10 minutes was enough to change my mind
The exorcism of emily rose is the best horror movie ever. That movie should be on this list.
Sure is one of the scariest horror movies but it's not the scariest. Definitely makes like the top 5 though.
I watched ex machina alone and it was AWESOME!
yea..one of ma fav
Nileonatter you can rent it on amazon
It's on netflix.
Nileonatter download Showbox application from Google. Lots of movies in good quality including Ex-matchina. Showbox app works online. You can watch movies TV shows online and also you can download it. It's 100% free.
for some reason, I cried at the end
I guess if you're scared of movies in general you shouldn't watch these alone?lol The movies that get to me are the ones that can and have actually happened like The Strangers. I still love monster movies like The Descent though.
I kind of thought It Follows was overrated and not that good.
Not sure why you shouldn't watch Ex Machina alone unless you're scared of pretty robots. That dance scene is hilarious though😂!
Add to the list:
A French movie called 'Inside' aka 'a l'interieur'. It's one of the few movies you'll see where the woman, whose often being hunted by the killer(s) IS the hunter.
The Strangers
Hush
I’m gonna go and watch all of these alone now. Thanks!
Also one time I scared my friend when he woke up by holding a picture of the babadook in front of his face 😂
Dude, what is that user image you have? Ive seen thousands of people with it, but no one mentions what it is and why so many people use it?
The descent still freaks me out cuz i live by woods n caves lmao!
'The Decent' shares a creative graphic with the cover art of 'The Silence of the Lambs' in the form of 6 women coming together to form a skull💀
The descent movie were soooo good!

Meri Silva the first one I watched was the omen, I think.
Watched Ex Machina alone, survived but stared at the TV for quite some time after it ended
As a woman, I thought the ending of ex machina was fantastic. You go girl!
You forgot The Room and A Serbian Film.
areasevenpro I would feel more uncomfortable watching A Seribian Film with someone else.
A Serbian Film is not a movie you want to watch with company
Andreea Marc sure it is. Just make sure you have a camera on them to record the expressions on their face while they watch it.
areasevenpro a serbian movie is fucking sick man, i was so disturbed days later
A Serbian Film is not a movie you want to watch, Period.
Please stop with the Babadook. An eposode of Goosebumps is scarier than that movie. I'd rather watch the entire tranformers franchise back to back followed by 12 hours of "the room" than watch the Babadook again. It's that bad.
wauw, you have an opinion :)
The way he pronounced it BA-BA-DUKE urked me really, but true it wasn't scary at all.
I laughed during the Babadook
I just watched Ex Machina alone yesterday. What's wrong with that? Love the performances.
I watched it follows. Alone. If you haven't seen it your not missing much. It was extremely lame.
ZombieHands 404 yeah I didn’t like it either. The concept was so stupid to me. I laughed out loud at a lot of the “scary” parts
The Descent was so good and scary. . .
As above, so below is very similar i think
was shit
I'm gonna trust you and watch that movie right now
I watched both movies alone.
Unfriended was stupid!
jam bells yes and not scary at all
I did like how it was only on a computer
Why the f would I watch AntiChrist with anyone? I can't even finished it on my own, let alone make other people see it, that would make me a shitty jerk of a friend or a sadistic family member.
Exactly! I've seen Antichrist along with the other two films alone and somehow I was able to enjoy(I'm into disturbing stuff)it. I definitely wouldn't watch them again though!
also the human centepide makes a great family movie ...😒😏
Gerald Christian Luna Saw it with my friends it was good
Omg!!! The Babadook scared me so much!!! It made me cry and I couldn't sleep without checking my bedside every five minutes for a month!
I love how on this list of what movies you shouldn't watch alone, the first one to come is The Ring. I first watched The Ring when I was 5 all by myself while my mom was at work. Maybe this is why I'm in love with horror movies.
Poltergeist traumatized my childhood lol I had a damn tree just like the one in the movie right at my window lmao safe to say my dad had to cut it down lol
mejw1 me too I thought that freaking tree that was right outside my window is alive and I watched it the whole night just to make sure it doesnt move or something
mejw1 i have a tree in the yard and idc! I dont want to cut that tree cause of freakin movie!!
that's fucked up.
Me and my dad played hide and seek, i still can't find him after 12 years
these movies don't scare me.

Now I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a stupid comment about my comment or just saying I don't wright very well.
If someone talks about nr. 2 then he/she is a morron, cause almost everybody makes a mistake while typing.
the decent is so good
Jacob Richardson 2 was pretty good too :)
Jacob Richardson not scary
the descent was amazing. the sequel wasnt bad but no where as good as the first one
The dissent was terrifying especially when like me you live close to Mammoth Cave. Which is a very haunted and creepy place.
The book for The Ring was super disturbing, it was so great. The movie and its franchises . . eh. But I'm so happy to see someone recognize Green Room! It's soooo good!
Darkness Falls,The Orphanage,Willard,Shutter Island,1803,Candyman(the first one),Jaw(made me scared of water when I was little),Midnight Meat Train & Hellraiser,It,and many more.
unfriended is complete garbage though??
friend request was better I think
No it is not. I watched it and I say I like it.
I've seen different movies, always the same thing ''someone dies'' and that's the point of all horror movies.
But if I had to say that I like Unfriended then BOOM! I DID! And it is not a garbage, for your information, it's a normal movie which some people can like or not. All movies are good.
A Cure for Wellness and The Neon demon should have made the list.
Unfriended is a terrible film.
Andrew JM Oh that movie was garbage.
What? After 10 cans of beer and some shots it was a very funny movie. :)

I love to be scared (by a movie). That is why I have watched all of these, excl. Deliverance, by myself. That is when you can tell if they are truly scary or not. From this list, I would say that The Babadook, Mama, and Unfriended gave me the most heebie-jeebies.
Darkness Falls. 'Nuff said
I was on board with the list, until Unfriended. The only thing scary about it was its Skype quality
When you have already watched all these films alone....
The Ring- watched it alone, it was boring
The Decent- haven't seen it yet but my science teacher has told me its freaky
The Woman in Black- started it got bored
The Babadook- watched it alone it screwed me up but i didn't scream
Don't Breath- haven't seen it yet
Poltergeist- Meh x1000000
It Follows- watched it alone I was bored
Anti Christ- haven't seen it
Deliverance- Haven't seen it
The Human Centipede- I watched it alone, it made me feel so so sick
Lake Mungo- Haven't seen it
Hard Candy- Haven't seen it
Unfriended- Started and got Bored
Greenroom- Haven't seen it
Mama- Seen the trailer but haven't watched the movie yet
Ex Machina- Haven't seen it
The babadook was one of the most disappointing horror movies I've ever watched, maybe I was too hyped but I got scared only for one brief moment.
I'm disappointed to not see any Pokémon movies make the list.
Ricardo Contreras You clearly are an illiterate with a poor level of education and zero sense of humour so you are irrelevant. Thanks.
Ricardo Contreras its a joke.....u dint have a sence if humour...it's a joke
Pikachu lol, i didnt know that you was joking, because i see people everyday saying things like that and they arent joking
Hills have eyes😱😨😵😨why isn't this film is here?
I am so watching these by myself.
I know this videos a year old but my lord... I never thought I'd hear so many butchered film titles and directors names being spoken in one video
1. The Ring -- I'm not a horror fan, but I liked this adaptation so much, I went and watched the original. Both are cool.
2. The Descent
3. The Woman in Black
4. The Babadook
5. Don't Breathe
6. Poltergeist
7. It Follows
8. Antichrist
9. Deliverance
10. The Human Centipede (...and sequels)
11. Lake Mungo
12. Hard Candy
13. Unfriended
14. Green Room
15. Mama
16. Ex Machina -- ...really? I think maybe it'd be nice having someone else to discuss cool concepts and implications for this one, but not really the same sort of movie as the rest (less freaky, much more abstract/conceptual and intelligent IMHO).
This should of been films not to watch on your own when you’re 5 😂😂😂
The woman in black made me scream so loud that I woke up my whole family
some gal : : : : (lol) silly gal . . . .
some gal sigh...
Tell me *WHY* I JUMPED DURING THAT "JUMPSCARE" SJAJDKSJADK LOLOL
You can watch "Don't Breathe" and "The Descent" alone. They're great and not too much reliance on jump scares. Antichrist and The Human Centipede are just silly.
Seen all these movies and by myself, absolutely no problem. Actually have seen films that make all these look like Disney films really. Not to say they weren't awesome, they definitely were. I was surprised you guys didn't mention Eden Lake.
Dont breathe?Really? If your scared of dont breathe then your the type to call a fucking zombie appocalypse movie "horror"
Where is hotel Transylvania?
Prince D 😂😂😂
Prince D see you kidding me. Hotel Transylvania is a kids movie.
Prince D lol
😂😂🤣🤣
Prince #1 Bro, it's a children's horror movie. I would watch it alone in my room in October of next year because I don't have any brothers or sisters who are either vampires or zombies :(
Alien the original
I technically re-watched Insidious, Sinister, The Conjuring, and Annabelle by myself. Not terribly bothered. A movie that does leave me creeped out after watching alone (which I've done repeatedly) is Silent Hill. Can't help imagining any place I'm in falling into the darkness with peeling paint, fire, and unnaturally moving creatures.
My list:
The Ritual
Veronica
The Grudge
The Conjuring 2
Lights out
The Thing
Scary Movie (its scary)
Mr Stærk the thing is horror movie plzzzzz reply me🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😁
The babadook wasnt that scary at all tbh, its more of a dark indie thriller than a horror film
movies I should watch alone
Paranormal activity should definitely be on this list
true. It's so good!

Hard Candy is my favorite movie on this list.
Hard candy worst movie ever seen no joke
HAHAHA Jokes on you, I don't have any friends
ok I have watched most of these movies, but the Babadook is absolutely terrifying, especially home alone at one in the morning with your friend, who keeps on turning over to you, her eyes wide and looking terrified. A good movie but not a good setting to watch It in.
The New IT. Everyone has told me to never seen that movie alone. A friend of mine did and he was disturbed for 3 days
The descent was a freaky movie
But nobody ever wants to watch Bible Black with me :(
Black Phillip I agree. Usually I have to watch it alone.... with headphones. 😢😢
The woman in black wasn´t even scary
Fuck off bitch
fuck off bitch
When I watched the Babadook the power went off in my house ten minutes, and then came back on. I decided to continue watching the movie. When the end credits started playing the power went out a second time, but the houses all around me still had power.
Last time I saw the human centipede was when my friend was out on the dance floor at prom in the 90s after a shot of vodka.
