    Beautiful illustration, Forrest! It's all about paying close attention, eh? When you get to stop the mental chatter, the silent eloquence of our body starts revealing paths you didn't know were there. Blessings and blissings!

    "One bliss leads to another" -- Yes, you HAVE explained this progression before, but never so clearly. And clarity is Big Help! Thanks so much, Forrest!

    Thanks as always. I like to think of the compaction in terms of hugging my self.😁 Wondering if it might be easier to begin exploring the feeling on the floor, supine or even prone?

    How frustrating- I got this the very first time and began laughing out loud and now I can’t feel the tingle again 😅

      Let it come to you. Start with HRV-R, then HHH, and go slowly.

      @@ForrestKnutson does it have to be at the chest I managed to get a tickle too at the root area of the spine? And is this just the same bliss as the chakras , I noticed my eyes began to water a bit and I felt almost stoned like, cheerful.
      My chakras all disappeared I’m in some kind of void state right now or “dark night” maybe as some say I’m waiting on that big heart bliss to come back 😂

    Hello Forrest your advice on telling my body to keep calm while doing om japa so that it doesnt start doing involuntary kriya has been genuinely helpful. I think for the first time I have actually experienced a paravastha state. The only thing is when in this state my breathing
    slows down to the point where it stops. When I gasp for air it sort of breaks my freeze response. What do I do about it? More stretching? Will it simply solve itself out after some time? Your advice always helps!!

    Thanks a lot Forrestji for sharing your wisdom♥ !!
    I'm about to finish your book! it's amazing! I started feeling something in my spine everytime i breath out while doing hrv nevertheless it starts on my legs and hands and goes to the spine it doesn't just stays in the spine 🤔 , to be honest i'm not sure if this is the desired feeling... Thanks so much, Forrest!

    This video would have been ridiculed by most if it were uploaded 5-6 years ago. The overton window has shifter so drastically in the past few years. Good to know that were back in dwapara yuga

    Is it OK to count the length of my breath mentally instead of using the app? Or even just making sure I have a longer outbreath?

    Thank you, Forrest! Just wanted to get your take on using ujjayi during exhalation, just to prolong its duration. Do you feel that might help?

      @BoundlessJon Рік тому

      Ujjayi is very good for prolonging the breath, I recommend it personally.

    Any opinion regarding the Wim Hof method? After doing his breathing technique two or three times you also feel your whole body tingling all over and you could also call it a blissful state. But of course it's a rather brutal and not really relaxing technique itself.
    Thank your very much for all the work you do with your videos on UA-cam!

    • @ententchen
      @ententchen Рік тому +2

      The Wim hof method is quite the opposite of what Kriya Yoga is about. With his kind of breathing you arousal the sympathetic nervous system instead of the parasympathetic.

    Hard-headed, empirical Western materialist (if you know philosophical materialism) here, checking out philosophical Yoga to see if there's a "there," there. Is it all just "mystical woo woo" (as I see it; no apologies forthcoming), or is there something there for people who are non-followers, and never accept "trust me," and instead follow Shakyamuni when he said (paraphrased) "even if I tell you something, don't just take me at my word. Make me prove it." With compassionate arrogance: prove it ;)

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  Рік тому +2

      That's actually perfect for yoga. It's original intent is a system to prove it only to yourself. Try the HRV Resonant Breathing.
