Having grown up as a fat child and being bullied and judged by “friends” and family it’s tough and I’ve had to grow a thicker skin to not let it affect me as much. I still struggle and it’s still triggering when I’m with my family but I’m working on accepting myself as I am and being fat isn’t a bad thing. Not sure if this book would be for me, I’ve never read a t kingfisher book before but want to I’ve heard really good things about her writing. Maybe I’ll give it a go. Thank you for the video. I just finished A House With Good Bones a couple of days ago. I've enjoyed all the T. Kingfisher books I've read, but A House With Good Bones is my favorite so far. I LOVED it so much! I just got my copy of her newest book What Feasts at Night & can't wait to read it. Awesome vlog!

I read A House with Good Bones when it came out and then read The Twisted Ones last week. All I could think was that TTO was a longer, inferior version of A House with Good Bones almost like it was used as a rough draft but was a fully published novel.
