It does not augur well in me when presidents become rich whilst the people they rule over become poorer or are left in conflict which is worse than the intial state they were before he assumed office. Yes presidents should be well payed but to make so much billions in a two term period it means the person was for himself. He was not concerned about the people but enriching himself by hook or crook. Nobody can blame a president who changes his people state of life drastically for the better and at the same time he himself becomes too rich as well. Kegame is a good example of this. All African leaders should be audited and be made to declare all their sources of income to minimize corruption and self enrichment in Africa This is supposed to be a paramount duty of AU amongst others
