I think it can't cut speaker cable because sticky wires

I believe these cutters work best with solid wire and not designed from strand wire like most speaker cable.

Bizarre lol...seems inefficient compared to American wire strippers.

they are typically for repetitive work like a controls panel where all wire is the almost always the same gauge. when you have it set. its just get proper length and pull. no more seeing if you are in the correct AWG hole/ no more accidently slipping into adjacent stripping hole.

They're application specific. Sometimes you don't have enough wire to use side strippers in a box. They're great.
